Mini Lathe Unboxing, First Cuts, and Carriage Lock Upgrade

Probably should've chamfered the end of that bolt, after you turned it down, because, as Quinn points out, chamfers are what separates us from the animals. 😊

Use aluminum soda/ beer can to make jaw protectors. Check your tool height and shim tool to align with center of chuck.
