I just drown in the sound of red's and transistor's voices.. gosh they sound so pleasing to the ear and I so wish there was a whole music genre like it
Just found this channel and I love it. Its alright as long as your well being is good and content quality great I personally don't mind hopefully the rest of your viewers agree to this as well.
By the by, the FPS drop can normally be remedied by playing in offline mode on steam. It isn't really a performance issue in the game or hardware limitation but some weird steam interaction.
I've twice tried and failed to get into Transistor, but as much as I love Bastion and have been loving Hades, I've been really tempted to give it another go. You have made sound that all the more appealing.
It says a lot that one of the game’s biggest issues is that players want more of it. I remember waiting for the game to come out. It felt like eternity. Not like Kingdom Hearts 3 but still... I loved this game since the first E3 demo I saw.
I think turn mechanic was made that way by design. You need to know and plan around how the enemy/you position it. Sure it can be annoying I suppose and that portion of the mechanic isn't super polished but I never saw it as a problem.
Transistor is my favorite game of all time.. I’ll never forget the first time I played through it twice in a row on iPhone.. same with bastion but yeah supergiant is my favorite developer and I’m still upset about pyre not getting ported to switch.. everything else but pyre.. still haven’t been able to play it and I hear it’s their magnum opus
Foxcade good to know , I’m loving hades right now.. 12 runs in and just finished unlocking all weapons and the ability to upgrade them with titan blood 🩸:) I know there’s still so much more to unlock especially considering I’ve only made it to the arena in Elysiam so far.. quick question what are diamonds used for? Just trade ins? Or something else
All I'll say is that every resource is for something, you just night not be able to spend them for a while. Dont start trading resources until you know for a fact you no longer have a use for them.
Foxcade only real trade ins I do are titan blood every once and a while for the 200 gems cuz that lets me either buy up the building upgrades or trade for more keys , I know I’ll always beat meg each run so it’s not that big of a loss.. appreciate the response , if it’s tied to the story I’d rather find out on my own
Minor critique (cause I love your vids) the word infamous is derogative, meaning something famous for being bad. I can't believe you knowingly said that about Bastions narrator cause he's epic imo.
You are right, it is Jeanne d'Arc. Its a pretty good tactical RPG but it got overlooked because it was on the PSP, which had limited success, and the game wasn't marketed well.
I guess it was largely due to everyone around me over hyping it. I found it wasn't anything special as far as walking around simulators beyond the interesting twists at the end, but it honestly could have worked just as well, if not better, as a short film.
I can't help but think that Jen Zee might be one of, if not _the_ , best artists in the biz, media, or perhaps in general this decade/generation. I can think of other notable games with distinct looks, but I can't really think of a _singular artist_ attached to such a style, that carries across titles, and especially not so consistently. Supergiant itself is a diamond of a studio, with many attributing facets (gameplay, writing, music, art, and perhaps even originality), but I think Zee is what makes their legacy so radiant.
I tried to play this game, but my PC crapped out on me for some reason, even though I met the requirements. I wish I had some actual insight into the game to make this comment worthwhile, but nope. Fuck.
The sword talking all the time bugged me actually to the point where when he started talking drunk i dreaded playing it , but i always complete games whether i like them or not.
I love this game and basically mainline the music regularly. I'll admit it, I cried at the end. Thanks for making this.
I just drown in the sound of red's and transistor's voices.. gosh they sound so pleasing to the ear and I so wish there was a whole music genre like it
Darren Korb has all the music he made for Supergiant on spotify. The music is great even on its own.
Congratulations you've convinced me to ignore the games I've yet to finish and go play transistor again as well.
+Sirmuz ;)
Just finished it, very melancholy game. Really liked it, the narrator or 'Blue' draws you in to the world with ease.
glad to see ya back! Transistor is a real favourite of mine, too.
Just found this channel and I love it. Its alright as long as your well being is good and content quality great I personally don't mind hopefully the rest of your viewers agree to this as well.
Well, you've convinced me. I've had it in my Steam library for months. I guess it's time to start it!

Not every game is for everyone, but Transistor is definitely something special worth trying for sure
@@Foxcade hopefully I'll agree when I give it another chance. Before it was at a pretty crazy time in my life, so maybe sometime soon will be easier.

This is easily my favorite indie game ever. You made such a beautiful video over it :)
Geez i got this game in my library and never played it since then... this should change...

Pyre is fantastic but Hades is their Magnum Opus. Honestly feel like they've went up with each game.

Limited run NEEDS to do a physical for hades and I hope the current success it’s seeing will allow that

I just finished my first playthrough. NG+ is next.
I cannot feel anything like a slow pace. You continue to be an incredible content creator
God, what a beautiful game.
Wow, I'm sold.
This was an amazing game, quite short tho, and too easy after you get the hang of it
Minor critique (cause I love your vids) the word infamous is derogative, meaning something famous for being bad. I can't believe you knowingly said that about Bastions narrator cause he's epic imo.
What is the underrated game at 0:28?
Pretty sure its the PSP game Jeanne d'Arc. I've never played it so I don't know if its good or not.

Looks a lot like FF Tactics.
@@Foxcade if you liked that you may like fire emblem its one of my favorites especially sacred stones
I really need to play it again
Jeane d arc for the WIN!
I have! But I like your vids so I'm watching anyway. Have you played pyre?
Yup, I really loved Pyre, though I don't think it quite tops Transistor
Way do you think that firewatch is overrated?

Choices without consequences have no meaning
super fun. the story really let me down though. Felt like a lot of stuff got cut for time.
I tried to play this game, but my PC crapped out on me for some reason, even though I met the requirements.

Fuck.
Bork
Awesome game
cute fursona btw
The sword talking all the time bugged me actually to the point where when he started talking drunk i dreaded playing it , but i always complete games whether i like them or not.
Good video just could do without the lazy cheap jokes
