Miss Katie amazing is an understatement because of piano note and this wonderful instructor Miss Lisa if these people were around 45 years ago I think I would have made mr. Lee Liberace have a smile on his face they make learning piano so fun and easy and I like to say mind you I went to college for a liberal arts as a music Major I have never gotten so far then I have with instructors like this I just started playing piano again 4 years ago because of piano note mr. Steve Lundgren Mister Cavanaugh the Boogie Woogie Man instructors like this is exactly what we needed if they would have taught us this kind of stuff that's what I was going to college or even in high school I think I would be a 10 times better musician today within the next year I'm going to be Al playing in piano bars very soon and that's because of instructors like this and help me so amazing is that what you said Miss Katie I thank God for instructors like this! My best wishes to you Miss Katie I hope that you find the music that's inside you best Wishes Always! Teddy
This is my late grandmothers song. I`ve decided to learn this, so I literally can play this whenever I think of her. She taught me to dance, sing and play the piano when I was young. She meant everything to me. Your tutorial will be the reason I can accomplish this, thank you🤗
This brought tears to my eyes! My grandmother was a concert pianist. She used to play this when we would visit. When I was growing up; I took piano lessons until I was twelve. I quit. I played by ear; and just couldn't deal with the boring, mundane drills. I'm so thrilled with the thought of actually playing real songs...not just "lessons!"
At 60+, I’ve just started to play the piano. Your tutorials, and I’ve checked out a load on TH-cam, are the BEST. I cant thank you enough as you make my left hand/right hand conundrums achievable…ish!
I know the feeling. I started to learn piano when I turned 50, and then stopped after a few years. Now that I'm 61, I want to desperately get back into it, and Lisa (now that I know her name) has given me the chance to reconnect with something that I was so passionate about. The journey continues, and the best of luck to you on yours.
This is the very first piece I have played on a piano which I bought for my granddaughter LISA. I can't stop playing it as soon as I try the first couple of lines. I had never thought I could play piano before watching your video. I also use your videos to teach my granddaughter music theories and reading grand staff. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video and the sheet music.
I have been trying to practice this piece but I wasn't able to finish because our online classes just started a few months ago. I'm glad you made this tutorial, now I can finish practicing Clair de Lune if I have time.
I played piano for years as a child but quit by the 5th grade. Thankfully I played violin through high school. So even though im almost 30 now, picking up piano again isn't tooo overwhelming haha. Always loved this song so much and I'm excited to learn it finally!
Thank you for teaching me how to play one of my favorite piano piece make easy. You give me hope to play the piano again. (Oh, by the way, I turned 70, am excited to learn again)
Just the intro…but nice to see it in a different key. I suppose key of C might be simpler to a beginner. But it’s hard for me to think of this as a beginner piece. But as a beginner, I did learn this intro in the original key. So just the intro, yeah. Thx
Thank you for this, I was literally looking for an easy tutorial for Clair de Lune 2 days ago and I felt defeated. Tutorials I found were either too hard for my level or a “guitar hero” style that didn’t show how I should position my hands. I love this channel, I could listen to you play all day! 🥰
I have been fascinated by this song ever since the first time I heard it at 11 years old. I'm looking forward to downloading this arrangement of it and maybe turning it into an arrangement with a church hymn
Literally i used to joke about learning this song on piano... And only this song. I'm having too much fun to stop now but thank you for helping me achieve the dream of this joke 🙏
By simplifying this challenging beautiful piece, you made (for me), what l would say a « piano for dummies ». Yes you instantly turned a beginner like me into a « pro ». Congrats and Thanks. Keep up the good work !!!
I am glad that you did this, but you should add the note that this piece is not in 3/4 but in 9/8 (a 4/4 with plus a half-beat or 8/8 + 1/8). It is a awkward to get used to it when you are new to tempos, but... it makes a big difference in the final result. All the best.
Evil Within has got me searching to play this track but as a beginner most of the tutorials seemed too hard. Thanks again Lisa! This song needs to be changed to Clair de Lisa now 💖
I LOVE this channel as a life long guitarist totally new to piano. I only suggest that you start beginning your vids with a small preview/sample of the material. Willing to bet you’ll see a spike of “committed views”, if that term makes sense?
Really love this song. Thanks for making it accessible to a beginner. The original composition looks to be a Level 5/6 so going to be a few years before doing that arrangement. This will hold me over till then! Thanks again.,
Lisa, as soon as am able to set gear up in my flat I'm looking forward to following your lessons. I just wandered if you've created a list somewhere to show the order you recommend us to take them in? Would you do that please. It would just help me for one & others too I expect to get better organized. A million thanks. Love you for what you're doing.
So to make this piece easier you changed the key to C mai.? Was that the thought process? Not a piano player but I learned the main part on another video but it was in D flat. Didn’t really find that it was that hard to play in the original key.
Get deeper with this lesson on the pianote blog! www.pianote.com/blog/clair-de-lune-easy/

@@PianoteOfficial Do they get a tutorial in the original key so they can play along to literally anyone else?

Grateful for the transposition to C from terrifying Db. Thank you.
Thank you so much, love this. I really wish a intermediate level version would come out. I try to add some thirds and fifth's here and there.
I love this! I am learning really fast and I only started yesterday! Thanks pianote!❤❤❤
