@FixMyAGDoll I know the feeling. I recently purchased her kite flying/blue dress, but I used ebay cards that I received as a gift.
The other dresses that I purchased were beautiful reproductions of her Work Dress and the Cape Island dress.

I really appreciate how you mention when outfits feel cheap/thin - especially for the ones that are really expensive secondhand!

I don't remember Rebecca having a Play Outfit at all.
@@tinmanlover1994 it was only available for a short time- 2017-2019, so that may be why! It's not part of her stories.
I just got Nellie! I have to restring her, but otherwise she is great! She just came in the mail! I’ve been wanting this doll since I was 9, so I’m very excited. Unfortunately she didn’t come with her hat or necklace, but at least I got her blue dress 😅 I can find the tights and shoes for cheap online (I think)
@@scarletsavenger1367 congrats!!!! What a great milestone in your collecting journey. I know I was so excited to find Nellie- I wanted her since I was a kid too!! The shoes you should be able to find for a good price, since they're the same as Samantha's and Molly's as well!
I loove Rebecca and her collection! Her pre-Beforever stuff is just the cutest. I’ve been really into Addy’s collection lately too so this was a fun video to watch! Thanks for sharing!

I have most of the same pieces for Rebecca including both coats. I would love to get her lace dress and the costume but I an not paying the second market price. I don't have the play outfit and it is not on my list. For Nellie I her meet outfit , the pink spring dress, her coat is cool and I have her Irish dance outfit. Samantha I have her play outfit it tis one of my favorites, her buster brown dress, her Christmas dress original and Beforever and her Sailor outfit. She also have two great coats. There are a few outfits I still want for Samantha. There is another Irish dance outfit I got for Emily. Addy is my girl I want everything I can get for her. I have the coat with the hat and her knitted pieces. The stilting outfit is my favorite also and I have it. Thanks for sharing

@@FixMyAGDoll yes, I love my collection and was mainly focused on the historical then I went off the rails and got most of the GIrl of The Year and now I have added some truly me and honestly it is now to large and i have limited space so I cant rally enjoy it. I think I have some hard decisions to make in the near future. Wish me luck.
@@nailahvenable7989 good luck!! I'm sure you'll be able to find good homes for the items that no longer fit your collection. I know the hard part is saying goodbye!
I love Rebecca and Nellie/Samantha’s outfits. I have a few of Rebecca’s clothes and one of Samantha’s the iconic lavender bridesmaid dress that came out when the movie came out.
I think I will put the Bridesmaid outfit on Ellie(Maryellen) soon.

@@FixMyAGDoll yeah I know it’s rare I got it from my high school nurse and her daughter it was in the box of American girl clothes a lot of the clothes were from the late nineties or 2000’s era so I have some rares.
