I would love Ivy to be rereleased as well as the rest of the friends. I would love to buy an Elizabeth in pristine condition! I have Ivy, but she definitely needs the chance to shine in the spotlight as well as get new outfits. I do like Ivy’s meet shirt, but not with the green pants. It looks so good with Julie’s holiday jumper or even with Julie’s original meet jeans.
I had Molly growing up, and her school jumper was my very favorite outfit she had, along with the raincoat. Happy to say I still have them both. It never, ever occurred to me to buy her clothes from the other girls’ collections! Or even to get a second doll! It was like: pick one, and just admire the rest in the catalog. 😂 I always thought Samantha had the most beautiful collection, but Molly was the most like me as a little girl, so she was the one I chose to be my friend and companion.

I was always begging my parents to get me outfits from Kit/Ruthie's, Addy's, and Nellie's collections for my Elizabeth 😭 we couldn't afford them but I always poured through the catalogues hoping for them! I've noticed the mixing historical eras quite a bit when going to yard sales. But of course, everyone has their own preferences!
I agree with so many of your thoughts! New outfits for the rereleased dolls would be so amazing! The second chance drops are great of course but new ones would be so fun! I would love to see the best friends come back too, especially Ivy! But I always wonder who would have to retire to make room in the now very crowded historical line… Would love to see new outfits for Kit and Molly too, it’s been a while!
@@agtwins7198yeah, they probably would have to retire some- it seems like they've been phasing out Rebecca and Nanea for some time now. They could be on their way out in the next year or two- we'll see! New outfits for Kit and Molly would be amazing!! I want to see some cute fall outfits for them. Especially since they're both Midwestern!
They look great, and the speculation was fun. I was expecting someone to comment about the tights going over Rebecca's loose bloomers lol but it all looks the same once you pull the dress down, right? Great video :)
@@agtakesover 🤣 yessss call it out! The elastic is so stretched on those bloomers that I have to put them on under or else they literally fall and I walk into my room and it looks like the other girls pantsed her 😭 I will eventually get around to fixing it one day 😅
I have Ivy and I would like to see outfits for her currently I use Judy’s outfits for her. I mainly love historical dolls so I would love to see new outfits. I love the school outfits also I put both Nellie and Samantha in the buster brown dress and Emily and a Molly in the plaid jumper. The girls all look great . Do you display them with their desk
My favorite is Melody's school outfit: I purchased it last year as winter outfit for my Nanea and fits wonderful on her. As maybe I'll purchase Melody too, I'll have to give her that dress and choose another winter outfit for Nanea: could you suggest me one for her?

@@scarletsavenger1367 I will eventually get a Molly, yes! I am trying to pace myself with doll collecting this year (and focusing on clothes and accessories). I only want to get 2 more dolls this year, and I'm thinking they will be Kaya and one of the twins....but we'll see! Molly is one of my favorite characters, but not one of favorite dolls (classic mold just isn't my fave), which is why she isn't high priority for me personally.

I wanted to be a historical collect only (even as a kid) but I ended up with TM 21 instead of Nellie (as a child) and I cannot part with her. I also recently bought Kavi (cause she was $80) and I wanted a doll whose hair I can play with and not worry about ripping out the entire wig or ruining curls. I’d like to get Claudie this year as well as Rebecca (the OG one not the one with the purple)
