Who TF out here questioning Mike on building racecars and measuring for holes and shit? Hes literally an expert and this is literally all he's done for decades 💀
I'm just going to throw it out there.. Mike and Tim are the BEST additions you could have made to your team! Not only are they super talented fabricators/builders, they're also great on camera personalities! Love these build videos!
Would u want Mike as say portraying the OG TopGear Stig ? Lol an what about Damon As Jeremy C an Sir Jww as James (But of course ) May . Then would dave fit as Richard Hammond
As a long time mechanic and fabricator guarantee anyone watching and questioning Mike’s methods hasn’t done fabrication. The number of different ways to get to the same result is a ton. Just because it isn’t your process doesn’t mean it’s wrong. He’s got his process that produces perfect results. If yours does for you that’s great but trying to call him out because it’s not yours shows your lack of experience.
these long videos with mike and tim are absolutely amazing. seeing how much really goes into a build like this makes it seem more realistic for the ones that dont understand the process. love it!!
This is some of my favorite content. I know it sounds lame. But i learn something every time one of these comes up. It gets filed away, for when i need something similar later. its like a fabricators this old house. But with high horsepower.
That was me who made the comment originally about shavings. I said that right in there that Mike knows better than me and other praises. I didn't know they will be fully taking apart the motor again and installing other parts in there.
I love watching the build videos. Surprised folks missed you telling us the engine still needs to be built, and you're just finishing the mock-up. That's how I was taught to measure when trying to figure out center points for bolt holes. Must be an old-school trick from the 50s. I'm getting pretty stoked to hear the F12 fire up.
Telling a master, who builds his own race cars, that have won him pole positions how to do what he does in the comment section, and that he made a mistake then being pwned by his response is crazy work. Get em Professor Essastein.
These are my favorite videos for sure! Love the fact that Mike reads the comments and adresses / explains why certain things happen or why they are like they are. Amazing stuff! Keep it up guys
Mike is the master “explainer”. If you had any doubt about anything they are doing. When Mike’s done explaining, you’re on the same page. He’s such a pro!
Mike I bet you appreciate having a Tim! Tim I bet you appreciate having a Mike around! DDE I BET YALL APPRECIATE HAVING A MIKE AND TIM! cuz we do 😅 Just broke my heal cpl days back so pretty grateful for the extra video time!!
For sure!! Was thinking the same about Mike and Tim together! Nothing better then teaching someone who loves to learn something and vice versa! There’s nothing better then learning something from someone who loves what they do! Mike knows Tim is worth the knowledge and Tim knows Mikes knowledge is worth regarding!
I always appreciate the stories channel especially when Mike and Tim are together getting stuff done. It honestly gives me a nostalgic feeling for when I was back in Vocational tech school learning the basics of automotive mechanics. Mike is definitely a great teacher and he doesn’t even realize how beneficial he is to the automotive community. Love this content!!! The Benz is certainly coming along greatly! I would wrap that beast in a nardo type of grey color with black or carbon fiber accents added on there. Very nice build and explanation Mike!
Yall should do an OG fast and furious Supra style montage when it’s final assembly!!! Boxes of parts stacked on the CGT, All the parts laying out, to Mike in the engine bay, to putting on the final decals, it would actually be so sick!!
Probably top of my bucket list is a chat over a drink with Mike and MrJWW at the same time. In my opinion, two of the most knowledgeable guys in a car space. Mike, James, just tell me when and where and I will be there 😀
Mike is a technical and mechanical genius. And Tim is a legend. The ultimate team. Although its way over my head, makes me feel clever just listening to these two. A+

Mike is the perfect example of what any teacher should be... any passion driven dude or lady will make you love any subjects that they teach... unfortunately I can only recall 4 or 5 teachers as interesting and able to share the knowledge as well as Mike... Also Tim is the best as far as student goes... 🏆 keep it up guys

Even "shortcutting" with budget tools; it's not like you welded boogers around a pipe to prevent coupler slip, you frenched that bead roll in. That's god mode stuff gang. Keep it up!
I love internet trolls telling a person who’s ran a custom fab shop for like 20 years and built multiple fully custom race winning cars himself how to measure or do anything 😂😂😂.

Mike and Tim make much better content. No BS.
It's always a good video when it's an hour long and just mike and tim.
Quite simply the best videos only have Mike & Tim in them. Less of the Daily Destroyed Exotics crap.
This channel isn't going to be the same when Mike sailes off into the sunset ⛵️ love this content 👌
Hoping Mike and Time eventually start their own channel and brand. They'd collab well with so many other TH-cam builders too.
