He doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone. Lee is the pinnacle of what every hunter should strive for. A true outdoorsman and an outstanding human being.
The amount of passion you have for these deer is unreal. It really shows how much you love it, and I am glad you put it out to us to embrace that passion with you.
I've been bowhunting 52 years, and I believe I am qualified to say that, not only are you a great bowhunter, but a true sportsman. And that's rare in these times of instant gratification that we are living. You set the bar high! Thank you sir. BTW, I hope to make it to Kansas before I get too old to draw my bow. From Tennessee
Been decoying those big prarie bucks for years out on the plains and there’s nothing more fun. Great footage of that buck coming in to the deke. Anyone saying it’s not the same deer, pause at 35:50 and you can see the right shoulder clearly - same deer. Great job boys.
Seek One is by far the best hunting channel on TH-cam hands down. I feel like I’m on the rollercoaster with them every episode and it’s relatable to my own experiences I have had thus far in my hunting career. Keep up the great work fellas. You’re doing God’s work.
Lee, that was righteous...you kept with it, gave it your all and you were able to finish off a big male deer so he didn't suffer or go to waste. Nice work.
The sheer determination and persistence you've shown on this hunt and all the others I've watched, is unmatched. It's one thing to see the deer walk away and live , but to be able to follow through with it, find the same deer watch him for days and stalk to within only a few yards, bravo. Your passion for the deer and hunting in general doesn't waiver, no matter what state or terrain. your abilities to do this, along with the ability to gain permission from everywhere you go are a testimony to your passion. Congratulations!!
Lee, I just started watching you this past year, and im new to guns and the hunting world. This my friend, is my biggest fear, and exactly what I wouldve done. I take my hat off to you sir and your video man as well. You arent just a TH-camr, or a hunter; you're someone I look up to both as a man and fellow human being. Thank you for being the type of hunter one day I hope I become. Thank you for showing the world how it should be. I realize this couldve ended without the deer and how it can happen. Its why im 44 yrs old and HAVE NEVER HUNTED. But watching you and many others its why I believe I can and should be hunting. My heart and head are in the right place. Im not going out there to poach or injury animals on purpose. Im going out, to help my wife and I fill our freezer and because I loved hunting since I was a boy, but Ive always been scared of this moment. No more. I'll take a year and get confident with my shots and make sure I go with someone who's been doing hunting for years(my dads neighbor), but I need to, I want to, and I have nothing but love and respect for any animal who gives his life for my family to eat. Thank you Lee, for being an amazing man and great role model. And if you or anyone else reading this has advice, I will definately take all I can get. Keep hunting and creating and ill keep on watching.
Amazing outcome, this video shows that we are all human and make mistakes. This shows your passion, and compassion for this sport and your willingness to do the right thing. That's why I love this channel.
Lee that celebration was amazing. You always contain yourself in ppls back yards. But out that really showed your excitement. I loved that brother. Congratulations!!
I would like for anyone to ever try and question this guys hunting ability ever again...he clearly just made all the critics shut up forever! I'm super impressed and love this video!
I love the emotion showed with the first shot not taking the deer down. It was so real and raw. Not all hunting channels would show that part. I think it really makes the story so true. I love your passion.
Beautiful deer. I really appreciate your dedication in putting down a wounded animal. That's one big advantage to hunting out west, you can keep an eye on them for days. Awesome stuff Brother.
Rough time, and know this feeling - glad it worked out for you in the end. The first shot I ever had at a deer with a bow in my second season was at a beautiful 3 y.o. buck, and glanced off a branch I didn't see, and deflected into the shoulder. Spend a day and a half trying to track him and never found - the blood trail just came to an end and as far as we can tell he made it out and is still there.
Ive been hunting since i was 7 yrs old. Im 50 now. Ive had my share with the "emotional rollercoaster" as you Lee put it. But this video by far was the greatest hunt ive ever seen. Thanks for sharing ur experience. If yall ever wanna come to Texas, i have 300 acres on angelina river bottom that you and Hunter can hunt. Just let me know. GREAT JOB GUYS
On the ground calling deer is why I moved to a heavy arrow because I did the same thing too many times. It’s worked so far. I know it sucks to have it happen but the way you told the story was really cool to see
Seek One is the best hunting channel of all. Lee I hope that one day i can just have 10 minutes of your time to pick your brain. The way you almost know what the deer are doing, where they are bedding, and where they are going is a God given gift man. Love your passion and love every video you guys have.
Watching the shadow of your bow shaking in the wind while drawn with the decoy made me say “uh oh!”. Way to finish strong and do the right thing. Congrats man!
Lee you're an absolutely amazing hunter that should make every other hunter aspire to work as hard as you do. Congratulations on the buck but more importantly to setting a high standard for finishing what you started. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I hit a deer high this season. I think it completely missed anything vital and I didn't find any blood. Would have been my biggest deer to date. I haven't hunted since because I've been demoralized but I am planning to finally get back out tomorrow. I love the messages you give to your audience and the production of these videos are top notch! Can't wait for the next episode.
I appreciate this video so very much. I had a really rough season a couple seasons back and had injured a couple deer and boy you are right about wanting to hang it all up and be done. I was so upset with myself for my mistakes and knowing what I did. It took everything in my not to quit and instead I practiced shooting. Every. Single. Day. Last season I killed my biggest bow buck and learned more than i have in most seasons. You guys are one of my biggest inspirations and I look up to y’all so much. Thank you for always sharing your journey no matter if it’s good or bad.
Congratulations. Your dedication to your craft is amazing. You put more effort into that hunt than most people would put into a whole season. Well earned. God Bless
Happened to myself twice this year. Super down on myself and like you said it makes you want to quit. I went to a new spot after taking a day off and connected on my personal best. Never give up
Great job sticking to it Lee. I’ve been bow hunting forty years and have experienced two bad shots one I almost quit, like you said you have to stay in the game. Congrats
This happened to my girlfriend for the first time this year, shot her biggest and we couldn't find him. She was down and wanted to quit, I encouraged her and she didn't but what I think really helped was he showed up on trail camera a few weeks later, which really took the weight off her shoulders. I explained its bound to happen if you hunt long enough and she finished out the season.
One of the coolest videos I’ve seen in a while! Great dedication! It just proves that these guys are doing it the right way! Not only making sure the deer was put away properly but also giving God the glory!
I don’t bow hunt yet I have a bow just haven’t brought it out yet. I’ve never messed up a shot and hit the deer weird but I have missed close to six bucks now and that feels pretty bad
I kinda had the same thing happen to me this year. Snuck up on a buck locked down with a doe in a ditch and the doe bolted. He stood up and right when I went to shoot he turned and I hit him in the shoulder. Watched him bed down in a fence row not long after. Got permission and snuck up fence row and shoot him in his bed. It was definitely a roller coaster of a day! Congrats much respect for sticking with it!
Went to church and came home to a seek one video....what an amazing day.... Lee the Lord is amazing brother!!! God bless you and your channel brother!!!
Best hunting video of all on TH-cam! Really shows the integrity of a true sportsman to put forth that much effort to do the right thing and not leave him in that condition.
Major props to putting in the grind and ending the story on that beautiful buck. Wounding one is never fun, being able to finalize at least brings closure. Well done sir.
Lee I have been watching you and your boys for along time, you my friend the respect level I have for you is unmatched in this industry.Thank you for your dedication to the lord and white tails.Have a great day.
It’s awesome you actually were stalking these deer in open country lol. It’s extremely hard to do that with a bow anywhere lol. I’ve done it one time here at home in Pennsylvania in the woods and was pretty lucky
Lee, true words of the feeling of wanting to give up. I had a bad shot this season and did the same thing. Wanted to quick bow hunting but pushed through and ended up getting the best buck I've ever shot. As always love the videos.
Lee, I literally just went through the same thing on the first bow hunt of the season. I didn't pick the bow up again until the last three weeks of season. It's an awful feeling when you make the wrong shot
what amazing buck Lee. great hunt. so proud you was able to get him. nothing worst than hitting one and not able to get him. congrats to you and seek one team for another great year of hunts
Well.when you see the notice of a new seek one upload you stop whatha doing and watch it cause you know it's going to be something epic. Love you guys keep it up

Another awesome video! Kudos for sticking with it and harvesting a great buck. Lots of hunters would be too debilitated by wounding an animal that they either give up on the hunt entirely or move on to a different deer. True sportsman right here. Genesis 1:26
