Thing is, that failure is one of so many other military actions, some failures but so many others that met their objectives, all adding up to USA’s military learning curve. Vietnam was their first large assymetrical warfare, something that the high command was woefully unprepared for at that time. But don’t get pumped up by that occurance since the CCP has created an army that might only engage in a symetrical warfare, something USA is naturally prepared for. Now, there’s another thing, which is the fact that I was specifically talking about the maritime warfare, something which USA is quite undeniably the most experienced and successful in the world, while the CCP has no historical or contemporary military experience in this case whatsoever. Basically, what I’m saying is that no matter how shiny and big someone’s army is on paper, experience from military failures and successes is of utmost importance.

The passing world order is being manipulated by the west to maintain its control of its self serving global financial, economic, political and imposed western rules and regulations to exercise hegemony over the developing world. Because China champions the interests of the developing world as a matter of mankind having a shared destiny, it threatens the USA and its allies who want to maintain the rapacious financial and military order to continue its exploitation of the resources in the developing world. They view China's rise as an existential challenge to having their own way to use the present world order when it serves their agenda and continually abuse it to impose sanctions unilaterally to coerce countries to fall in line. The USA is the chief offender in this regard. Its record of imposing laws to serve its agenda is legend, even as it spouts alleged abuses on human rights in countries in its line of fire. Of late it claims every ocean as its backyard. It is the biggest upsetter of peace and stability of a rules based world order it so often vociferously endorse. It is not difficult to see that the world order it supports and wants to impose is that according to what the USA endorsed underlying its policy of MAGA. @Jon Kino Oh please, you wish. 1.) Russia will not risk selling to Taiwan and anger one of its largest military partner, China for a few petty billions. If push comes to shove, China will simply outbid what Taiwan is offering. 2.) USA will not allow that sale to go through because then it compromises all the US tech in that region, including their F-16s. 3.) USA will be forced to CAATSA Taiwan if Taiwan buys from Russia.
