Gorillaz really introduced my whole generation to amazing left-field cats like him and DOOM. If you're between the ages of about 25 and 35, Gorillaz are legendary.

@@anthonyarcanumsanctumregnu9551 Nah man not Del. I'm sayin Gorillaz are legendary for a lot people who are currently between 25 and 35. The first two Gorillaz albums were huge when we were in school and the guest spots on those albums were what introduced a lot of people around my age to Del and DOOM. I had never heard of Del before Clint Eastwood and now I'm a huge fan.

I saw him play in the early 2000's in London, Ontario. After a few songs he asks the crowd, "who likes nintendo?" crowd goes wild.. he then asks "who likes sega" crowd boos.. he gets furious says "yall dont like sega?" "Fuck yall then" does a song or two and ends the show early... lol

Just in case Dell ever reads this: Yeah the video was cool. But what this song made so great was your part Dell. Just to be clear, when clint eastwod came out, i was about 12, and i didn't understand english at all. Your flow made me want to understand. And years later when my english got better, this song stayed just as cool, if not, it got cooler. I'm being real, here.

The dude's voice in an of itself is just so smooth ad pleasent to listen to. I'm not even big on the rap genre in general, but what he did in that song was straight perfection. Hopefully I'll find some other stuff he's made. That voice better not have gone unutilized >:(

My best friend passed away 2010 and the last song he listened to on his iPod was Clint Eastwood. Saw del live a year or two later in Austin tx. Unreal show

Used to go to the CD store every Tuesday. First time I heard Del was a cassette tape in a dollar store...was very hype when I heard Del on Gorillas since I bought it on cover alone that Tuesday

That's why Del's my favorite. He appreciates how animation works and how it transcends as opposed to just colors and lines. Utmost respect to the phunkee one all day. Next level genius

I ordered a shirt from hiero website, they threw in a bunch of free stickers. Everything was cool.
Then I ordered a black hat with an orange hiero emblem. They sent me a green hat with a yellow bill. I lived in Denver and couldn't rock Oakland colors.
Met del briefly in Colorado before a show. Cool dude, larger than life.
