If you milling lumber with your chainsaw you should sharpen the chain differently. You teeth should be less pointy just a little. I cant explain it well in English but I recently got the tip from a chainsaw artist.

Reply: Hi Jose, The measurement of the width on the slider measurement comes pre-drilled from the factory, bolts on to the 2x6 slider, and fits nicely over the 2x4. This specific 2x4 slider board is 10 feet long. However, you could use a longer board, or "rail" for cutting a longer post.
