I found your other video and i see it's in fact not the same machine..different dash eic setup and lights but exactly the same in the engine bay or at least should have been I'm assuming.. Do you happen to know if your fuel pump runs in ON position or only in START position to pickup until the injection pump takes over then shuts off?

@sirridok New Holland lists the Ignition Type as "Compression." The Fuel System is listed as "Indirect." Hope that helps to answer your questions.

@sirridok This is a 2003 LS170. It's been a very tough machine, but a clogged fuel filter or a rusted pickup tube will stop it in its tracks.

The one in the video is a 450 rancher.

That was a Paulownia tree.

Sounds like rust or corrosion. Maybe try some wd40 to lubricate that seal. If all of the bolts are loose, the motor should release. Then, it should just be a matter of slowly sliding it off per the instructions at the end of the video.

@@makeitworkdan6463 actually, I just came across another video on replacing brushes and then it dawned on me. I do not even need to remove the spline just the outer casing but I did try penetrating oil vibrating air tools prybars, but it’s like it is welded on there.

After you remove the bolts and the electrical connectors, you can tie up the motor with a strap. It will take slight wiggle to slide right off and then gently lower it down to the ground. It is a bit of a tight space. You can have cardboard, or a small bubble wrap sheet placed underneath of the motor on the ground. If the golf cart is on level ground, the motor will barely slide out from underneath of the body without touching it. You can also pull up the back wheel onto a board if you need some additional space to slide the motor out once lowered. Just watch your fingers and know the motor is a bit heavy.

This specific 2x4 slider board is 10 feet long. However, you could use a longer board, or "rail" for cutting a longer post.
