What we know is that you are a lot more than a caravan person Sarah .😊😊😊 Very articulate, educated and authentic. Great review Sarah ,,thanks,,, more grist for the mill in prep to our journey . An absaloute option to buying the full monty 😊
Excellent technical effort Sarah!, I'm an electrician by trade and you did great! I've just upgraded my Kimberley Kampers Karavan original batteries from the worn out 4 x 110ah lithiums to twin 300ah Enerdrive lithium's plus a 50amp dc to dc charger so I can pull 50 amps of charging current from my Landcruiser when driving. My 2015 Karavan came with an Enerdrive Combi which is a 120amp battery charger and a 3000 watt invertor So I can run my Split system Air Conditioner easily for a long time. I test ran it flat out for an hour and only dropped 25% of battery capacity, and my bread maker as I don't drink coffee. So I have my vice of fresh bread! and not coffee. I have 700 wats of solar on my karavan So my generator will only be used if fails, or I have a long run of bad weather or stay in one spot under a tree for a long time. i do have a lot of loads though with satellite tv, Diesel Hot water, Twin fridges. Hot and cold running water. When you have the chance can you do a video on your starlink system with all the costs and where you bought it from and your experiences with using it please. thanks heaps. I turn 60 next month so I can access my super and once my apprentice achieves his licence in July/August next year I'll be joining you traveling permanently on the road but unfortunately in solo mode. Had no luck with the ladies No matter what I do. my 2 children are adults and in their own places. So, I'll have my Hobie adventure island on top of my Landcruiser which is a 5m tri hull kayak that you can peddle, paddle or sail and fish from. but I love your tinny setup that I may migrate to once my Hobie wears out. I already have a boat drivers' licence. Kind regards, Michael. you are always welcome to contact me if you have electrical issues that you want some advice on.
Thanks for the Ecoflow review. Not a lot of vans run this brand here in Australia so reviews are few. We’re doing a home build van and have spent close to $20K on a complete Ecoflow system including solar panels so it’s encouraging to hear your comments. Thanks
Totally agree! It's so easy to get caught up thinking you need a flashy new set up but we figure the more you spend on your set up the less you have to actually travel. Haha we are still working on that one 😅 Cheers for watching Dianne 🤗
Great information guys we are planning to travel next year and was wondering when you bought your van did you do any updates on your van like suspension or other things and have you had any problems with your van because we wil be buying something similar thanks for your great content 😂
Hey guys, that's super exciting! The first thing we did was change the hitch to a DO35 hitch which made it so much easier for one person to hitch up (we had a treg/poly block hitch originally). We also put a cheap diesel heater in (a must with a canvas top we recon -the van doesn't hold temperature well). We also added an extra solar panel. I think it's a good idea to sit down together and thing about what you feel you'll need and what sorts of climates/locations you'll be going before you start changing anything. It's easy to get caught up thinking you need all the mod cons but as long it's working for you guys, that leaves more money for travel! We've done a full van walk through on our chanel too if you're interested. Cheers for watching 👍
Hello you three! Awesome work. We have a near identical van to yours and are departing later this year for at least two years with hopefully a lot of off grid camping. Just wondering about your off grid setup especially with aircon. The ecoflow delta can power it up ok and you have no issue recharging it? TIA
Awesome set up. With a beautiful down too earth Family too go with it. ❤
Thanks so much 🤗

Aw thanks guys 🤗 you're too kind. A definite option to keep in mind especially if you plan to change set ups in the future 👌

That's awesome! Yeh we've been really happy with them. Definitely a good alternative to a fixed system for us 👌

So one review and then no more videos, at least you got a power pack I suppose
