The background pic goes HARD
A lone child wanders through the forest, abandoned by their parents. They are surprised to see bubbles floating in the air, so they follow them. This leads them to the majestic Mizutsune. The Leviathan wakes to see the child, and slowly makes its way to the young one. It curls around the child, being ever so gentle with grabbing the child's shirt to place them on its back. Suddenly, a Tigrex, a Flying Wyvern, approaches. Seeing the child as a potential meal, it leaps for them. Mizutsune realizes that the child is in danger, and must be protected. It channels its protective instinct into rage, not before setting the child somewhere safe. The battle begins...

Yes. The child was lucky this male Mizutsune is not in mating season.
This reminds me a lot of a pair of characters I have, an elf child who was abandoned in the woods and found by a lonely fire kitsune spirit who had been avoiding attachments for over a century because of her immortality. She had been caught in a house fire, and a burst of magic caught her soul on fire and made her stop aging. The story even lines up with their meeting, where the elf child, Tanila, was drawn to the kitsune, Kasai's turquoise spirit flames on her tails, and Kasai ended up adopting Tanila and taking her in.

Sundancer , the Scorching Leviathan (Inspired by my sister's fire elemental Mizutsune in MHST2 when fighting a high rank deviljho)
The mizutsune stood before the beast , snarling at the deviljho which was blocking the mizutsune's path to its rider. The rider laid
unconscious under the deviljho , unknowning their Mizutsune had come to the rescue. Tired of the face off , the deviljho lunged at the monstie which dodged gracefully before lashing its tail at the brute's legs and then nabbing its rider by the arm very gently and tugging them away from the opposing monster. The Deviljho takes another lunge this time successfully grabbing the Mizutsune by its tail and drags it along the ground with a mighty toss of its head , the monstie shrieks in pain and retaliates throwing itself up at the eyes of its enemy and raking its claws down the beast's face. Freeing its tail , it escapes the grasp of the deviljho and puts itself between the enemy and its rider letting out a roar of warning not to come any closer.
The brute wyvern driven by hunger and rage ignores it and lunges again this time aiming for the throat of its new prey , the bubble fox wyvern. Swiftly the miztsune lets loose a blast of fire into the deviljho's face and dodges , letting loose another blast of flame before moving behind the deviljho whilst creating a slippery trail of bubbles and suds to enhance its speed. Once behind the foe , the bubble wyvern sinks its fangs in to the foe's tail. Enraged and frustrated the deviljho growls swinging around only to slip and tumble , the stubborn monstie still gripping its tail , it roars in fury landing a hard jolting kick on the pink wyvern which yelps in pain before it whipping bubbles at its foe angrily. Refusing to back down for its rider's safety the Mizutsune swiftly slides back over to where they were laying in the grass before turning to face the Deviljho for the final round.
I did not regret reading this.

This is honestly relaxing and calming dispite being fast paced, and i dare say I prefer it over the original themes

I'm not a Fan of the Long Sword very much, but of all the monster's I've hunting since the 1st game of Monster Hunter, 18 year's of Hunting, For whatever reason, This music, this monster, I can not fight it without using the Long Sword, I don't know what it is, Maybe just the sheer respect for the game, Japanese Culture, or everything above, I just find myself wanting to face it with a Katana. is that just me ? lol
