Who even mentioned Diablo III? While Diablo IV is way superior than this. This whole series is one of the many Diablo clones, out there, exactly like there are Doom clones & GTA clones, out there. Peace!

It can never be better than the Diablo series. This is a poor man's Diablo series. Just like there are Doom clones and GTA clones, this is a clone of another original great series, known as Diablo.
@@SpaceReptilioid The original "Diablo" game design is a clone off of the "Dungeons & Dragons" games, so your clone argument does not hold up with your logic.
Furthermore, the "Path Of Exile 1" game was designed to allow for more complexity of character building than "Diablo 3" had and is still more complex than the "Diablo 4" character building system as well.
Lastly, "Path Of Exile 2" has already shown to have a better and more advanced character building system than "Diablo 4" and "Path Of Exile 1" combined.
Thus, your argument against "Path Of Exile 2" is weak in conclusion because you do not even understand how "Diablo 4" and "Path Of Exile 2" compare to each other, like I do.

Path has truly picked up where D2 LoD left off. It felt that way back in 2013-2014 and it's even more evident in present times. I imagine the old Blizzard North crew would have went into a similar direction provided they were still working on Diablo.

GGG really feels like the successor to Blizzard when it comes to caring about their lore/world. This is modern day Diablo 2 +. Blizz can wither out, when people like GGG can bring a significantly better product for a fraction of the cost and reach the same audience.
This is the first time I played the game before I see the trailer.
Had to come here to watch this because me and my friends opening cinematic had no sound. It's been 2 whole days and they have not fixed this. Ppl on PC are having the same issue and are saying the cinematic volume defaults to 0. Fix this ASAP!
Actually the cinematic volume defaults to 0 on console also and there is no way to change this unless you skip the opening cut scene then go immediately to settings.
Why is this not playing in game? Such a missed opportunity.

I ain’t know, but the Diablo 4 trailer has such a deeply ominous and haunting atmosphere. I couldn’t look away. It was absolutely captivating. Anyway, I’m not complaining; I’m excited for this game and ready to spend my money to see them keep improving their content.

Whoever voice acted that sorceress did a phenomenal job. D3 was a huge disappointment for me and i didn't even bother to try D4. Downloaded poe2 yesterday and played all night. It's already a great game in EA.

People that have supported poe will get a free code just received mine then again i spent over 200 in the many years i played poe.
Well you can wait. I think its a nice way to give the servers a chance. If it was free, a lot more people would try it. And 30 bucks isnt even a high price.

Do I need to play the first one to understand the plot?
No. It's a separate story. But truthfully, we ignore the plot at a certain point and just want to chase the power to blast maps.

I was and am REALLY hyped for this game, and the game mechanics they are bringing to this genre, but these trailers / story just don't do it for me....

It's an ARPG, not an RPG. Most ARPGs are top-down Diablo, Torchlight, POE, and Lostark. Only a handful are 3rd person like Warframe and Monster Hunter

Within a certain genre, you will always find features that are similar to other games in the genre.
When they released PoE1 the devs themselves said it was a spiritual successor to D2, so even they don't try to deny it, what are you on about?

Too grindy and tedious for my taste, will come back once it's out of EA. Not worth at this point.
I finished act 3 with a summoner witch and had the same thoughts. I decided to try out the monk - boy am I'm having loads of fun. Try a different character, maybe you will as well.
How is this game even grindy? Just slam currencies to a good base and you're set. D4 was far more grindy and also braindead on top of that.

Because the quality is embarrassing compared to Diablo cinematics so they made it too dark so no one can notice the poor quality.

Why is everyone saying RIP diablo?? POE 1 has been around for over 10 years and was already light years better than Diablo. People still bought diablo. I’m assuming these people didn’t hear of POE.
Diablo fans are coping. This is way, way, way better than Diablo. The combat is way heavier, more realistic, believable, engaging.
