This blows me away! I saw you put a blob of paint on a blank canvas and then turn it into something stunning! I don't know how to paint. I can't draw to save my life. And yet you make it look so easy! In 2 hours you turn out paintings I would LOVE to have hanging on my walls! I just wanted you to know your tutorials have me mesmerized from start to finish. I might even borrow my 87 year old mother's paints, buy a canvas, and see if I can't follow along with one of these! Being disabled I'm always looking for a hobby that I can do from my bed. It can't be as easy as you make it out to be.
I absolutely love your paintings. I used to paint a lot but I had to give it up because of arthritis in my hand and wrist. But I still like to watch other artists. You are a great teacher.
,Felix you are a natural teacher your quietly spoken instructions as you work are much better than background music and the details you add make the painting come alive, thank you.
A dark and cold scene, defined by light and warmth. Every time you added new things I thought "NO! he's ruined it!" and then a few more dabs and it was wonderful. Genius.
This is so beautiful. I have always wanted to live in a little cottage in the snow and this is everything I always pictured! My daughter and I are going to try this one on the weekend. I won't do yours justice, but it will be painted with love, because it's everything I ever dreamed!
I really like the way you demonstrate, even the littlest things that go into a good composition for example, the extra highlights from the house, hidden rocks in the snow. A lot of tutorials show you how to do the big things, they might even tell you they are doing some small things, but they leave out the reason why. A lot might be obvious to them, professional artist, accomplished artists in some way, but for me...just someone whose retired and paints at home for the enjoyment, I would have missed them. Thank you 😊
It's crazy that Bob Ross could do a full painting in 30 minutes. This one is 2 hours and that seems much more accurate as to how long it can take. Beautiful art and a nice calming voice have been mastered here as well tho💙
I painted this for my granddaughter as it reminds me of the beautiful home they just bought in N.H. I was an oil painter many years ago and about a year ago started painting with acrylics. I’m checking out many artists on you tube and I take something from each one. Thank you for all you give! ❤️👩🎨
This video is fabulous! You discuss every step as you go and you explain exactly WHY you are doing what you are throughout the entire video. I now understand more about painting in 2 hours than I did from any other videos in an entire year. I changed mine just a bit and put a church in place of the house. It's certainly not as beautiful as yours but I now feel like I can get there with practise. Thank you!
@@emor1884 Why does everyone keep insulting him? Bob Ross just about stole every technique from his teacher, Bill Alexander. He not only stole techniques, he stole ideas (like pallet knives and paints he had drawn up, the magic white, easels, and the list goes on...and patented them in his own name. I can't stand watching him now. His 'happy little trees' aren't even his own thoughts. Those words came from his teacher. I think the man was disgusting. To show you how karma works...he died BEFORE Bill Alexander...of cancer. The older thicker oil paints and paint thinner they used to clean brushes and also to make Magic White were carcinogens. The guy was stealing nails for his coffin. Karma.
@@kalebhinders8395 I have doubts now and wonder if that Calvi does not speak the truth, you see : I mean stealing things from the other and patenting in his own name. That happens more than we could think of in life !
I think the word you were thinking of in the beginning talking about your clouds was depth. Great painting and I love love love your videos. So relaxing and so beautiful.
Oh wow, this one is so special and I'd love to try painting it! The warm, cozy cottage sits in a winter wonderland. I love the detail, right down to the indication of the flurry of feet in the snow as the snowman was built and the cheerful glow of lamplight on the little arched bridge. This is quite the magical masterpiece, Feliks!
Oh Lynn, why do you want to 'try it'? Art is not about trying to copy someones painting, but to CREATE something new, go and try make your own stuff, otherwise it has no interest at all.
Feliks, I accidentally tapped on your video and was mesmerized almost immediately by your night sky transformation. I took acrylic painting in college for a semester and loved it but then life got in the way. I haven’t painted in years but I just might sign up for lessons! I love the brush and went on line to see about purchasing it. Disappointed to see they are made with goat hair. I don’t buy art products that use animals so could you consider making synthetic brushes in these styles, sizes, and designs? Thank you for sharing your talents and expertise.
You are just awesome teacher. I have done this painting and I wanted to send the pic. I have never done canvas painting using acrylic paint before. But your video, the way you explaining the detail is so nice that encouraged me to do. Thanks so much😊
It is excellent ...I tried for competition and completed in 2 hrs but first I messed up finally it came well and I got first prize . Thankyou for a wonderful art sir 💖
I love following your painting tutorials. I love your calming voice and how thorough your directions are. the tutorials are easy enough for an intermediate/beginner, yet challenging. Thanks
It's beautiful! I would have extended the roof to the right of the chimney just a tiny bit. It looks like it's missing. I would put a door into the house so they can get out. I'd have put a black door underneath the big outdoor light before I put the light there. It's really gorgeous. I love the way the moon and sky turned out with those amazing clouds. Good job!
Vous avez un talent fou, bravo pour ce tableau ainsi que les autres tout aussi superbes. J'en prends plein les yeux. Un vrai régal de vous voir faire. Merci pour la démonstration.
