I miss zoo tycoon dinosaur digs. I still have the complete collection! It was my first pc game that I bought at circuit city , when it was still around.
I used to have a demo of Dino Park Tycoon as a kid, but never got to play the full game...I've been so excited to Parkasaurus, 'cause it looks like an evolution of what that game would have been.
Omg Dinopark Tycoon was the EXACT game that popped into mind when I was watching this too!!!
Not evolved to much because it's very much the same but nevertheless very cool to see on the switch.

The thumbnail literally has a T-Rex running free and causing havoc (although with sunglasses on), so I assume there will be.
I'm sure there will be lol. Just remove a piece of fence.

This is a great game... but it seems like they removed the first person view option that exists in the PC version. Which really sucks, because I was looking forward to walking around my park. Not to mention the ability to tranquilize any escaped dinos myself. Not sure why they removed it... much more graphically demanding games run just fine on the Switch, so surely it wasn't an optimization issue? Oof.... here's hoping it gets added back in at some point. I'm also hoping they'll bring the DLC they're working on to Switch as well. This really is a perfect game for handheld play.
It was an optimization issue, most likely. I think you greatly underestimate just how demanding park management games are on hardware. This game has a lot going on and the switch is essentially mobile tech from like 2015.

@@earthan I understand but... Usually when it's stated, you see with the trailer to what extend it's gonna be in teh game, and it's just NO WHERE in the trailer, so I wonder if it's accurate or a mistake. ^^'

Not sure if you know this, but RCT 3 is on Switch. It comes with both the water park and zoo expansions, and overall runs really well. Super great game, and a really solid port.
@@nicked_fenyx yes, I'd been eying it for a sale. But I'm talking more so RCT 1&2 specifically, like they have for mobile. I love those two. I haven't played 3 before so I'm hesitant lol
@@glueyprogg7273 Ah, I gotcha. I'm in the reverse situation - never played 1 or 2, but played 3 back in the day. Most of the fanbase seem to regard 3 as the pinnacle of the series, though, so my guess is if you liked the first two, you'll like 3. That said, I can see waiting for a sale if you're not sure. Better safe than sorry.

Nintendo doesn't develop this. They simply allow the games to be published onto their console. Most people would probably not want Nintendo censoring content. Its up to the consumer whether or not they purchase these types of games. I don't think you need Nintendo deciding whether or not you should play a game.
