Nn Li ok so my main party is nia, rex, and tora but i always have a problem with rex dieing way to fast he just takes so much damage also is it a waste of time to buff the other poppies? I spent a lot in the first one to just get by the main story should i spend a few hours maxing adult Poppi?
It's for that reason alone that I really want a post-game boss battle with Jin (or any other main story boss that didn't have a lot of fights (excluding forced loss scenarios), for that matter) at some point, paid DLC or not. I NEED to have an all chrome katana team to take on the weeblord himself.
I’ve moved on to playing Ni No Kuni 2 and all I can think about is how good XC2 was. Seeing this makes me just want to go back and play it. I still have about four rare blades to get and haven’t finished all the rare blade quests sooooo... Might be one of my favourite games of all time. So well made!!

Haha.... 400 Salty Soil, 500 Gromrice, 300 Ruby Mangosteen was the total going from 0 to 100 for the max out. I did the Salty Soil yesterday, but I'll probably break up the other two items over several days to avoid going crazy from boredom.
Gotta pimp out the sunlight chip! Usually gives great effects and has high crit for those who don't want to miss out on a ton of crit by going tachyon.
It took me this video to realize that KOS-MOS' Hilbert Effect R with Nia is amazing. Definitely going to try that once I get my hands on another Overdrive Protocol.
1Way Road is that so? I have KOS-MOS on Zeke, and I think it fits because I'm about to unlock her Blade Quest that revolves around a family member of Zeke's.
For those interested, here are my own build notes: General: -Rex is pretty good with most weapons. Give him 0-2 rare blades of your choice that are not fire, light, or wind element. -Nia is great with Bitballs, Rings, Knuckles, Cannons. -Morag is great with Katanas, Hammers, Lances, and is good with Twin Rings, Knuckles, Bitballs, and Cannons. -Zeke is great with Axes, Cannons, Knuckles, Hammers, and is okay with bitballs. Bad with lances. -If you want to constantly use the blade you get in the Spirit Crucible, consider not giving any blades to Nia. In that instance, divide the knuckles and bitballs between Morag and Zeke (Morag's better with bitballs, Zeke's better with knuckles) . General Distribution: - Nia: Perdido, Drommarch, Ursula or Dahlia, Boreas or Adenine, Floren or Nim, Vess/Obrona, Azami or Vale, KOS-MOS - Morag: Brighid, Praxis, Theory, Finch, Patroka or Wulfric, Herald, Mikhail - Zeke: Dagas, Gorg, Godfrey, Zenobia, Agate, Pandoria, any dark blade remaining - Free: Newt, Sheba, Perun, Sever, Cressidus, Akhos, Kassandra, Perceval . Notes: - Because pretty much anyone is good with bitballs or knuckles, and because bitballs and knuckles each have rare blades with the same elements, you can split these among the drivers so long as Nia gets one of each element. -Imo, Nia should get Ursula, Floren, Vess, and Boreas. Note that Boreas+Obrona+Ursula makes for a very safe healer, and Floren+Ursula+Kora are the best healers overall. Kos-Mos is the best healing blade that is not a healer role. - If you want to give Rex permanent access to another blade, I recommend putting Wulfric or Patroka on him and putting the other one on Morag. Perun is another logical choice for Rex. - Sheba can work well on anyone, as can Perceval and Newt. Their distribution should depend on where other blades have gone. - If you want Morag to be a block tank, consider Electra, Kassandra, and Sever or Cressidus or Newt - If you want Zeke to be a block tank, he works well with Sever/Cressidus and hammers. If you want Nia to be a tank, give her Sever/Cressidus and a katana or hammer. - Zeke is difficult to pick a dark blade for. He's terrible with lances so Vale is wasted on him, imo. If you give Vale to Nia, you might want to give Azami to Zeke or vice versa. Alternatively, if you want Zeke to be a block tank, Kassandra is a good option, as Morag's best dark tank is Mikhail. Perceval can't driver combo on Zeke but is also an option. - This leaves Akhos. If you want Rex or Zeke to be healers, put Ahkos on one of them. Beyond that, I have trouble deciding where to put this guy. It doesn't help that he's the THIRD electric healer.
I like your build notes and I will follow it to the letter because I am very confused about which blade for which driver. But I want to know about the new blades like corvin, crossete, elma, shulk, Fiora, Telos, and Poppi Buster. And if these build notes are effective in challenge mode? Waiting for your answer.
Zeke is actually great with lances once you increase his launch duration via affinity chart or accessory. The idea that he’s bad with megalances is a huge misconception
I have 2 builds right now: Crit mythra build: Rex: Mythra T-elos Roc Tora: poppi qtpi dark Poppi qt fire Poppi alfa ice Nia: drogmarg Kora Floren And the ether cannon build that substitutes rex with zeke with KOS-MOS herald and sheba but i have aggro problems (maybe with morag i can solve it)
Listening to Perceval and Herald goad each other whenever Morag switches between them is too much fun for me to take them off her XD I have this same issue with Electea and Ursala on Nia, Ursulas great but Nia is kind of trash with hammers... but its too cute Q.Q Love the vid, looking to try optimizing in NG+ in a way everyones got relatively all the elements and weapons... the Torna wepz being class variations makes it kind of weird x.x
Morag is actually very good with the Bitball (and Twin Rings commons), because she has the same straight healing Art as Nia, and has a 10% chance of the Star Cube effect on her second Affinity Chart, conveniently being a relatively cheap node for the second chart on the first ring of the chart. Also, Knuckle Claws could potentially consider the Moon Matter Chip to be an effect chip, because they actually get fairly high crit rates from it and can use critheal with it to regenerate their own HP.
The issue with running healing blades on Morag is that the healer and tank class bonuses are completely antagonistic. You're forced to run Brighid on her until late game, so you're stuck taking with aggro+ on a healer and aggro- on a tank. By the time you can pull Brighid off of her, Rex'll have a healing blade that completely outclasses all of the bitball users. You could run a pure healer or healer/attacker mix on Morag, but that seems like a waste of her agility stat and access to Brighid. *shrugs* I've been going back and forth on Moon Matter vs Tachyon vs Sunlight on Knuckle Claws. I suppose it doesn't really matter b/c a) Ursula is only ever out for a second b) I'm not a huge fan of Nim or Kora c) Adenine always has a gold chip and d) healers are kind of useless at the stage that I'm at anyway.
Fenny Lopez you’re like two years late :P Most healer type blades are terrible at DPS, and there’s generally enough passive healing sources in the late/end game that you shouldn’t need to run dedicated healers.
@@MortemDeum Fiora, Elma (she has a healing art on Nia and Morag) and Crossette would like to disagree with you. They do lots of damage, and they do healing. Bringer of Chaos would also like to have a word, it increases the damage you take and greatly reduces the efficacy of healing (while also making enemies have substantually faster recharge on their dangerous arts). Particularly with Cossette involved, as on Zeke and Rex she does full lifesteal at a substantually better rate than even crit heal as her healing, with the damage (and therefore healing) boosted by her massive additive multiplier gains from grabbing a few HP potions. Her massive boost to the general damage multiplier you gain from fusion combos also helps quite a bit, particularly since it makes a massive differance to their general damage boost to everything if you use a Blade Combo with a Driver Combo active that lasts until you extend the Driver Combo or the Driver Combo runs out.
@@MortemDeum yea finally realizing it after checking out the meta more closely. Things like crit heal. Very unforgivingly brutal at those higher difficulties using healers. DPS turned out to be king. I had the casual way of viewing the strats. Such as orb accumulation. I literally got the game last year, 200 hours later. Blown away. Still playing it. Struggling to power up poppi. But at least now i have a better clue of what to look out for tonbe more viable to fight super bosses.
I actually use axes on Rex because he has two options with them, topple damage up or launch which can be really good if you’ve invested in roc my blades on Rex usually are mythra telos/agate and roc it works surprisingly well
hello, I'll give you my answer, imo Morag Chrome Katana: Evasion, Smash Knuckeclaws: Morag: Break and Heal, and Zeke AOE, CC blowdown and topple chance Nia: Twinrings or BitBall, Ether only chance, Break Ethercannon: anyone except Rex, set up for break, which starts the combo, that saves you extra slots for topple to launcher to smash
I'm sure there are benefits to putting different roles on characters meant for something else but I simply put all attackers on zeke, all tanks on morag, and all healers on nia. Rex however I use mythra/nia/akhos so he's a damage healer, and on tora I of course use attacker QTpi and tank alpha.
Nn Li definitely. I would do more experimentation but I don't want to farm overdrives each time, that's why I end up doing safer builds and why most of the experimentation is done on rex for his master driver status.
How do you know what driver to assign a blade to if you have to choose a driver to bond with before you ever known what the blade is when opening a core crystal?
I think Axes work great on Rex, since he gets both a Launch and a +dmg art on toppled enemies, which goes well with Agate due to her passive against them as well. For Lances, Morag is also pretty good with them, and like Zeke, she also gets a Smash (but doesn't take a million years like Zeke's lol). But I do agree Rex gets the most out of Lances, especially with someone like Vale whose thing is side attacks and Rex getting an art that already does that and having good synergy with Pyra/Mythra
I put kosmos on morag in new game plus. I don’t regret it. And herald is on zeke cause she from his homeland. Nia has little mermaid. So they all get ether cannons.
Does each blader exist at all rarities? Is there low grade and rare of the same blade name? Or if I have a blade there is no other blade with same name that is better?
hi i just got back into this game after years break. Id like to play as Nia as my main unless i have to use Rex during story parts. What blades and team mates should i use if i consider playing as Nia? thank you :)
If during story, use Morag as your main tank and have Rex in the party for the topple. If you have the Dlc, give Corvin to Morag so she can smash. If not, give her a good shield hammer with a lot of damage, a Lance for smashing and another shield hammer for the tank passive to really help her hold aggro. You can break decently on bit ball and ether cannons as Nia, and have your third slot a knuckle healer for the launch. Nim is phenomenal for Fusion combosand will buff your teams damage hugely as well speeding up fights a lot. She has fantastic, consistent healing and you will rarely, if ever take aggro as long as the driver combos are going off hot and heavy. Ursala and boreas can heal but they are subpar. Crossette is your best healer and DPS but expect to have aggro constantly. She has decent tank stats so she can handle it but in multi enemy fights, it you get targeted by a few monsters, you will go down quick if they focus fire you. As Nia, you should be trying to control the pace of battles as much as you can so setting up really powerful fusion combos via Nim or Crossette will help speed up fights along even if you aren't always contributing to the damage directly

However, I'd like to come through with a few of my own preferences: *Knuckle Claws* - A Core Chip that I've found to work well (I can speak from exp. as a Kora secondary) is the Sunlight Chip (that drops from Mk. VII Arek - World Tree), for the bonus effect of 8% healing on auto attack, and given that you have one of the faster AAs, I think it's worth a shot (ESPECIALLY if you like running off healers like Ursula/Adenine/Nim on your main DPS as role loopholes w/ reduced aggro). - I disagree with Tachyon personally, because given that you have the best movement / twitch cancel in the game with boxers, you don't need that 4th jab IMO. If you run full AA figures then I can't blame you, but still. *Shield Hammer* - If I'm just mucking around with things like it, I tend to run Nia with S. Hammers (not saying Morag can't work, but she's more of an Agil' tank and I'd prefer to stick to that). Can't speak too much otherwise. - Dilation is S. Hammers' only viable CC. Don't @ me. *Megalance* - I think you should have added Zeke and Morag to the list of recommended Lance drivers thanks to having a Smash art on them. Their AI prioritizing Agg' down can be replaced with whatever's on the 4th slot (at least in the case of Zeke). Otherwise, yeah they're mostly focused on Driver combos and stuff, as well as positional advantage (Side/Back+). Oh, and Morag is surprisingly proficient with them tbh. *Bitball* - **BETA. SCOPE. IS. INDISPENSABLE.** Seriously, whenever I get Acrobatic Bomber off cooldown, I find Breaks about 4 out of 5 times with them. I've actually been playing with a Floren/Obrona core, and trust me - the synergy with them is dumb af. Other then that, I think the rest is fine. I mean, we've said in DMs how preference plays a lot of a role in these kinds of things, and I can't argue with that. I think that's all for now.
You *could* run Dilaton on a shield hammer...if you were an amateur. To reach pro-mode, you need to run a spicy sunlight chip on Kasandra with S+ Trust!
Looking for help here and hoping someone can give me some input. I'm trying to put a Farming Driver Combo together using Zeke, Nia and Morag. All 9 Blades have gold chips. I also want to utilize Adenine's passive so I want Nia to be my Launcher and I put Break (Ether Cannon), Topple and Smash on Zeke. I used Sheba as Zeke's break and even with Beta scope, she never lands it on UM's. Especially TT. Any suggestions? Should I try a different Ether Cannon? Thanks.
Obrona/Nia and Poppi QTπ have the best breaks in the game, so you should use them instead of Ether Cannons. With an optical headband, Obrona will hit a break the majority of the time against non-superbosses!
Thanks for the quick reply. I was trying to put Gold Chips on the blades I use the least and make something happen with them to make them more useful. But it looks like I'll have to suck it up and pop that Beta Scope on Nia instead of Zeke. Thanks Nn Li.
I'm curious about the 3rd (I think?) big cannon which is Sheba. Since I'm about to get her (Farming gold heavily), I don't know who to give to. Right now my team is Rex/Nia/Tora (Just got Nia back story wise, about lv 15-ish). Any opinion on her?
Nia or Zeke. SHe's most effective when you have lots of other female Blades in the party. The only male ones I recommend you have in that set-up are Boreas and Mikhail. Otherwise, I recommend: Pyra/Mythra, Ursula and Nim or Patroka on Rex Boreas, KOS-MOS and Sheba on Nia Brighid, Mikhail and Herald on Zeke.
Well, I'm still chap 3 so yeah, no Zeke and Nia got some blades already so for now, Rex has it. Also, is it really worth giving Nia importants because you know...plot?
Yes. Nia will be a constant fixture on your team. She has the best bitball move-set, does the highest ether damage and is an all-around wonderful healer. I recommend not giving Rex more than 3 rare Blades for reasons that will become obvious in chapters 7 and 8. If you get Boreas, put him on Nia immediately. He's the second best healer in the game (if you discount a very special one I won't spoil for you). Oh, and a small hint unrelated to that that you might find useful: Rex and Nia are much lighter than Zeke for example. Their movement speed is higher and they jump further from ramps like water slides and sand slides. That might help you discover some secret areas.
Actually I think that the "very special one" is what I said when I meant to not give Blades to Nia "because plot" in later chapters. And this is why I was asking that question, because of that "special" blade. Would it be better to use that blade or not? By the way, so far, here is the blades I got : Rex : Pyra, Sheba, Vale, Electra, Floren. Pyra/Sheba active Nia : Dromarch, Gorg, Perun, Adenine. Dromarch/Adenine active i know I may have given too much blades but I'm still early in the game so I made it to I can adapt myself a bit just in case. I'm still farming money with silver cylinder at Torigoth because premium cylinders still don't want to drop despite being A rank on salvaging.
Alright. Ether cannons don't have the best move-set on Rex, but it's ok for now. It's still preferrable on nia, but that's quite alright. As soon as you can have three Blades per driver, I recommend you put Vale on Rex. His Megalance move-set is pretty good. For Nia, it's more difficult, but I'd go for Perun for the ice element. I still highly recommend giving Blades to Nia. Her plot point, so to speak, is something you can turn off at any given moment. It is how most people prefer to play.
noob question: My kosmos only do half damage as in this video lol. I already reach S+ and have moon matter chip, affinity max atk and lv1 special +, idk what makes the difference... is that about ideas? Or do I miss something?
I just use whoever on whatever driver no matter their class or skills. Just as long as their personalities match. ie, adenine on morag, Godfrey on Zeke, Mikhail on Zeke, patroka on morag, obrona on nia, etc.
I don't doubt it! It certainly has its uses (and one of my favourite blades, Patroka, borrows the moveset). I'm just upset that the AI prioritizes using mega lances at the most in-opportune times. :(
I mostly use Megalance on character that I played, and it seem Rex is best with it (Zeke too slow, Morag good but most Megalance reduce Aggro as you already said in clip) Rex auto attack really fast with Megalanch and Art so quick too which made me spam 1st Special for Vale really easy But yeah I have to agree if you put on AI some time it broke combo XD

More important than this mumbo jumbo is actually your blade composition rather than which driver has which blade, since they in reality affect as much as those pouch items on your game play (not much if at all). But that said MAYBE when they release hard mode it will become more relevant, but i doubt that unless they seriously nerf a certain blades on this game (also with dlc items you can get Electra at the beginning of the game and she is the most broken blade at early game because of that ether dmg counter and damage reduction) also chainattack must be nerfed on hard mode.
I personally like Kos-Mos on rex, he has the second highest Ether at 99 and you can use a build called damage healer IE healers that deal still alot of damage or damage dealers that can heal. This build contains some spoikers so if you havent gotten past chapter 7 yet dont read on, please dont read on, no seriously i told you to not. Hey dont blame me for spoiling you i just wanted to show my build. Well alright then well the build is Nia, Akhos, and Kos-Mos. Kos-Mos and Akhos has Ether up Aux Cores which helps with Nia's massive healing and Akhos' Heal on hit is also great too along with his level 1 and Kos-Mos' Level 2 at healing. They're more for element coverage and supporting Nia though who gives a nice health boost. Her arts heal insane amounts of damage and she got some piercing attacks meaning she can deal some hefty damage too.
Mine N Adventurer good build. Personally, I prefer having KosMos, I’ve been pulling blade cores for 35 hours and still haven’t gotten her yet. She’s my last rare blade ;_;
You definitely can put KOS-MOS on Rex if you're lucky enough to get her! I just personally, as a general rule, overdrive all rare blades away from Rex since he can access them all. Rex's ether cannon moveset is probably my favourite one.
Nn Li also, though that is a good idea to overdrive all your blades away from Rex. Unless your like me and want to 100% complete the game and reenter ng+ again after I'm done preparing this version of NG+ and redo all of the side quests in that version. That's a problem for me because you will just have rex for alot of the NG++ and not being able to use Kos-Mos or Akhos during that period of time will be annoying. Also I want to get Vandam to Level 99 and complete his affinity chart and I didn't get to do that already. I can also get Jin and Malos to Level 99 too if I want.
You could if you wanted to! Seeing how Rex will have access to ALL blades (except Poppi ofc) you can mix and match. I personally made it a point not to have any rare blades on Rex for this reason.

- Free: Newt, Sheba, Perun, Sever, Cressidus, Akhos, Kassandra, Perceval

Notes:
- Because pretty much anyone is good with bitballs or knuckles, and because bitballs and knuckles each have rare blades with the same elements, you can split these among the drivers so long as Nia gets one of each element.
-Imo, Nia should get Ursula, Floren, Vess, and Boreas. Note that Boreas+Obrona+Ursula makes for a very safe healer, and Floren+Ursula+Kora are the best healers overall. Kos-Mos is the best healing blade that is not a healer role.
- If you want to give Rex permanent access to another blade, I recommend putting Wulfric or Patroka on him and putting the other one on Morag. Perun is another logical choice for Rex.
- Sheba can work well on anyone, as can Perceval and Newt. Their distribution should depend on where other blades have gone.
- If you want Morag to be a block tank, consider Electra, Kassandra, and Sever or Cressidus or Newt
- If you want Zeke to be a block tank, he works well with Sever/Cressidus and hammers. If you want Nia to be a tank, give her Sever/Cressidus and a katana or hammer.
- Zeke is difficult to pick a dark blade for. He's terrible with lances so Vale is wasted on him, imo. If you give Vale to Nia, you might want to give Azami to Zeke or vice versa. Alternatively, if you want Zeke to be a block tank, Kassandra is a good option, as Morag's best dark tank is Mikhail. Perceval can't driver combo on Zeke but is also an option.
- This leaves Akhos. If you want Rex or Zeke to be healers, put Ahkos on one of them. Beyond that, I have trouble deciding where to put this guy. It doesn't help that he's the THIRD electric healer.
I like your build notes and I will follow it to the letter because I am very confused about which blade for which driver.
But I want to know about the new blades like corvin, crossete, elma, shulk, Fiora, Telos, and Poppi Buster.

Zeke is actually great with lances once you increase his launch duration via affinity chart or accessory. The idea that he’s bad with megalances is a huge misconception

Morag is actually very good with the Bitball (and Twin Rings commons), because she has the same straight healing Art as Nia, and has a 10% chance of the Star Cube effect on her second Affinity Chart, conveniently being a relatively cheap node for the second chart on the first ring of the chart. Also, Knuckle Claws could potentially consider the Moon Matter Chip to be an effect chip, because they actually get fairly high crit rates from it and can use critheal with it to regenerate their own HP.
The issue with running healing blades on Morag is that the healer and tank class bonuses are completely antagonistic. You're forced to run Brighid on her until late game, so you're stuck taking with aggro+ on a healer and aggro- on a tank. By the time you can pull Brighid off of her, Rex'll have a healing blade that completely outclasses all of the bitball users. You could run a pure healer or healer/attacker mix on Morag, but that seems like a waste of her agility stat and access to Brighid. *shrugs*
I've been going back and forth on Moon Matter vs Tachyon vs Sunlight on Knuckle Claws. I suppose it doesn't really matter b/c a) Ursula is only ever out for a second b) I'm not a huge fan of Nim or Kora c) Adenine always has a gold chip and d) healers are kind of useless at the stage that I'm at anyway.

Fenny Lopez you’re like two years late :P Most healer type blades are terrible at DPS, and there’s generally enough passive healing sources in the late/end game that you shouldn’t need to run dedicated healers.
@@MortemDeum Fiora, Elma (she has a healing art on Nia and Morag) and Crossette would like to disagree with you. They do lots of damage, and they do healing.
Bringer of Chaos would also like to have a word, it increases the damage you take and greatly reduces the efficacy of healing (while also making enemies have substantually faster recharge on their dangerous arts). Particularly with Cossette involved, as on Zeke and Rex she does full lifesteal at a substantually better rate than even crit heal as her healing, with the damage (and therefore healing) boosted by her massive additive multiplier gains from grabbing a few HP potions. Her massive boost to the general damage multiplier you gain from fusion combos also helps quite a bit, particularly since it makes a massive differance to their general damage boost to everything if you use a Blade Combo with a Driver Combo active that lasts until you extend the Driver Combo or the Driver Combo runs out.
@@MortemDeum yea finally realizing it after checking out the meta more closely. Things like crit heal. Very unforgivingly brutal at those higher difficulties using healers. DPS turned out to be king. I had the casual way of viewing the strats. Such as orb accumulation. I literally got the game last year, 200 hours later. Blown away. Still playing it. Struggling to power up poppi. But at least now i have a better clue of what to look out for tonbe more viable to fight super bosses.
I actually use axes on Rex because he has two options with them, topple damage up or launch which can be really good if you’ve invested in roc my blades on Rex usually are mythra telos/agate and roc it works surprisingly well

Ethercannon: anyone except Rex, set up for break, which starts the combo, that saves you extra slots for topple to launcher to smash

I'm sure there are benefits to putting different roles on characters meant for something else but I simply put all attackers on zeke, all tanks on morag, and all healers on nia. Rex however I use mythra/nia/akhos so he's a damage healer, and on tora I of course use attacker QTpi and tank alpha.
That's the beauty of the RPG: full customization for your party. There's always plenty of room for experimentation.
Nn Li definitely. I would do more experimentation but I don't want to farm overdrives each time, that's why I end up doing safer builds and why most of the experimentation is done on rex for his master driver status.

I think Axes work great on Rex, since he gets both a Launch and a +dmg art on toppled enemies, which goes well with Agate due to her passive against them as well.
For Lances, Morag is also pretty good with them, and like Zeke, she also gets a Smash (but doesn't take a million years like Zeke's lol). But I do agree Rex gets the most out of Lances, especially with someone like Vale whose thing is side attacks and Rex getting an art that already does that and having good synergy with Pyra/Mythra

I put kosmos on morag in new game plus. I don’t regret it. And herald is on zeke cause she from his homeland. Nia has little mermaid. So they all get ether cannons.
Topple usually isn't a problem for me. Unless I have Rex AND Tora on the bench, I always have it available

hi i just got back into this game after years break. Id like to play as Nia as my main unless i have to use Rex during story parts. What blades and team mates should i use if i consider playing as Nia? thank you :)
If during story, use Morag as your main tank and have Rex in the party for the topple. If you have the Dlc, give Corvin to Morag so she can smash. If not, give her a good shield hammer with a lot of damage, a Lance for smashing and another shield hammer for the tank passive to really help her hold aggro. You can break decently on bit ball and ether cannons as Nia, and have your third slot a knuckle healer for the launch. Nim is phenomenal for Fusion combosand will buff your teams damage hugely as well speeding up fights a lot. She has fantastic, consistent healing and you will rarely, if ever take aggro as long as the driver combos are going off hot and heavy. Ursala and boreas can heal but they are subpar. Crossette is your best healer and DPS but expect to have aggro constantly. She has decent tank stats so she can handle it but in multi enemy fights, it you get targeted by a few monsters, you will go down quick if they focus fire you. As Nia, you should be trying to control the pace of battles as much as you can so setting up really powerful fusion combos via Nim or Crossette will help speed up fights along even if you aren't always contributing to the damage directly

Nice vid, Li. However, I'd like to come through with a few of my own preferences:
*Knuckle Claws*
- A Core Chip that I've found to work well (I can speak from exp. as a Kora secondary) is the Sunlight Chip (that drops from Mk. VII Arek - World Tree), for the bonus effect of 8% healing on auto attack, and given that you have one of the faster AAs, I think it's worth a shot (ESPECIALLY if you like running off healers like Ursula/Adenine/Nim on your main DPS as role loopholes w/ reduced aggro).
- I disagree with Tachyon personally, because given that you have the best movement / twitch cancel in the game with boxers, you don't need that 4th jab IMO. If you run full AA figures then I can't blame you, but still.
*Shield Hammer*
- If I'm just mucking around with things like it, I tend to run Nia with S. Hammers (not saying Morag can't work, but she's more of an Agil' tank and I'd prefer to stick to that). Can't speak too much otherwise.
- Dilation is S. Hammers' only viable CC. Don't @ me.
*Megalance*
- I think you should have added Zeke and Morag to the list of recommended Lance drivers thanks to having a Smash art on them. Their AI prioritizing Agg' down can be replaced with whatever's on the 4th slot (at least in the case of Zeke). Otherwise, yeah they're mostly focused on Driver combos and stuff, as well as positional advantage (Side/Back+). Oh, and Morag is surprisingly proficient with them tbh.
*Bitball*
- **BETA. SCOPE. IS. INDISPENSABLE.** Seriously, whenever I get Acrobatic Bomber off cooldown, I find Breaks about 4 out of 5 times with them. I've actually been playing with a Floren/Obrona core, and trust me - the synergy with them is dumb af.
Other then that, I think the rest is fine. I mean, we've said in DMs how preference plays a lot of a role in these kinds of things, and I can't argue with that. I think that's all for now.
You *could* run Dilaton on a shield hammer...if you were an amateur. To reach pro-mode, you need to run a spicy sunlight chip on Kasandra with S+ Trust!

Looking for help here and hoping someone can give me some input. I'm trying to put a Farming Driver Combo together using Zeke, Nia and Morag. All 9 Blades have gold chips. I also want to utilize Adenine's passive so I want Nia to be my Launcher and I put Break (Ether Cannon), Topple and Smash on Zeke. I used Sheba as Zeke's break and even with Beta scope, she never lands it on UM's. Especially TT. Any suggestions? Should I try a different Ether Cannon? Thanks.
Obrona/Nia and Poppi QTπ have the best breaks in the game, so you should use them instead of Ether Cannons. With an optical headband, Obrona will hit a break the majority of the time against non-superbosses!

Nia or Zeke. SHe's most effective when you have lots of other female Blades in the party. The only male ones I recommend you have in that set-up are Boreas and Mikhail. Otherwise, I recommend:
Pyra/Mythra, Ursula and Nim or Patroka on Rex
Boreas, KOS-MOS and Sheba on Nia
Brighid, Mikhail and Herald on Zeke.
Well, I'm still chap 3 so yeah, no Zeke and Nia got some blades already so for now, Rex has it. Also, is it really worth giving Nia importants because you know...plot?
Yes. Nia will be a constant fixture on your team. She has the best bitball move-set, does the highest ether damage and is an all-around wonderful healer. I recommend not giving Rex more than 3 rare Blades for reasons that will become obvious in chapters 7 and 8. If you get Boreas, put him on Nia immediately. He's the second best healer in the game (if you discount a very special one I won't spoil for you).
Oh, and a small hint unrelated to that that you might find useful: Rex and Nia are much lighter than Zeke for example. Their movement speed is higher and they jump further from ramps like water slides and sand slides. That might help you discover some secret areas.
Actually I think that the "very special one" is what I said when I meant to not give Blades to Nia "because plot" in later chapters. And this is why I was asking that question, because of that "special" blade. Would it be better to use that blade or not? By the way, so far, here is the blades I got :
Rex : Pyra, Sheba, Vale, Electra, Floren. Pyra/Sheba active
Nia : Dromarch, Gorg, Perun, Adenine. Dromarch/Adenine active
i know I may have given too much blades but I'm still early in the game so I made it to I can adapt myself a bit just in case. I'm still farming money with silver cylinder at Torigoth because premium cylinders still don't want to drop despite being A rank on salvaging.
Alright. Ether cannons don't have the best move-set on Rex, but it's ok for now. It's still preferrable on nia, but that's quite alright. As soon as you can have three Blades per driver, I recommend you put Vale on Rex. His Megalance move-set is pretty good. For Nia, it's more difficult, but I'd go for Perun for the ice element.
I still highly recommend giving Blades to Nia. Her plot point, so to speak, is something you can turn off at any given moment. It is how most people prefer to play.
noob question: My kosmos only do half damage as in this video lol. I already reach S+ and have moon matter chip, affinity max atk and lv1 special +, idk what makes the difference... is that about ideas? Or do I miss something?

I just use whoever on whatever driver no matter their class or skills. Just as long as their personalities match. ie, adenine on morag, Godfrey on Zeke, Mikhail on Zeke, patroka on morag, obrona on nia, etc.

I don't doubt it! It certainly has its uses (and one of my favourite blades, Patroka, borrows the moveset).
I'm just upset that the AI prioritizes using mega lances at the most in-opportune times. :(
I mostly use Megalance on character that I played, and it seem Rex is best with it (Zeke too slow, Morag good but most Megalance reduce Aggro as you already said in clip) Rex auto attack really fast with Megalanch and Art so quick too which made me spam 1st Special for Vale really easy
But yeah I have to agree if you put on AI some time it broke combo XD

More important than this mumbo jumbo is actually your blade composition rather than which driver has which blade, since they in reality affect as much as those pouch items on your game play (not much if at all). But that said MAYBE when they release hard mode it will become more relevant, but i doubt that unless they seriously nerf a certain blades on this game (also with dlc items you can get Electra at the beginning of the game and she is the most broken blade at early game because of that ether dmg counter and damage reduction) also chainattack must be nerfed on hard mode.

I personally like Kos-Mos on rex, he has the second highest Ether at 99 and you can use a build called damage healer IE healers that deal still alot of damage or damage dealers that can heal. This build contains some spoikers so if you havent gotten past chapter 7 yet dont read on, please dont read on, no seriously i told you to not. Hey dont blame me for spoiling you i just wanted to show my build. Well alright then well the build is Nia, Akhos, and Kos-Mos. Kos-Mos and Akhos has Ether up Aux Cores which helps with Nia's massive healing and Akhos' Heal on hit is also great too along with his level 1 and Kos-Mos' Level 2 at healing. They're more for element coverage and supporting Nia though who gives a nice health boost. Her arts heal insane amounts of damage and she got some piercing attacks meaning she can deal some hefty damage too.
Mine N Adventurer good build. Personally, I prefer having KosMos, I’ve been pulling blade cores for 35 hours and still haven’t gotten her yet. She’s my last rare blade ;_;
Cressidus is my last rare blade.
You definitely can put KOS-MOS on Rex if you're lucky enough to get her! I just personally, as a general rule, overdrive all rare blades away from Rex since he can access them all. Rex's ether cannon moveset is probably my favourite one.
Nn Li I personally already got her so that isn't a problem (I also almost got her to S+ but I'm holding her back because I want Nia to be my first S+)
Nn Li also, though that is a good idea to overdrive all your blades away from Rex. Unless your like me and want to 100% complete the game and reenter ng+ again after I'm done preparing this version of NG+ and redo all of the side quests in that version. That's a problem for me because you will just have rex for alot of the NG++ and not being able to use Kos-Mos or Akhos during that period of time will be annoying. Also I want to get Vandam to Level 99 and complete his affinity chart and I didn't get to do that already. I can also get Jin and Malos to Level 99 too if I want.

You could if you wanted to! Seeing how Rex will have access to ALL blades (except Poppi ofc) you can mix and match. I personally made it a point not to have any rare blades on Rex for this reason.
