hmmm wonder if I can do this in Premiere. I ultimately gave up on racerender as the hero 12 doesn't have telemetry anymore.

the timer? In DaVinci it's called a "Text+ Generator" with a Lua script that calculates the current time based on the frames per second of the video and the frame that you're on. I don't know anything about Premiere, but hopefully that helps find an equivalent (although I wouldn't be surprised either if there's a better/simpler way).
