What can we say Sir, thank you for the unbiased review. We have no issues with harsh critics. There is nothing to apologise because you did nothing wrong, being a harsh critic is not a problem or crime. It is just comforting for us to know that perhaps you have a different opinion now from the one you may have had earlier that we were taking money without yet delivering. Cheers.
I think it is much more comforting now for people to see these high priced items in hand going forward. As time goes on and people have product and see the quality people will feel safer putting money down and waiting. Also when I review, I always try and do my best to be unbiased as I am reviewing a product, not my feelings on a company 💪🏼
Car guy here and very surprised at how good it came out (from any manufacturer). Front view with the headlight doors open and turned on is a 10 out of 10. Even with the spooky blue aftermarket color. Also as a car guy, keeping it in and not correcting the presenter with terms that some military enthusiast might note. It’s all good. So the front fender seams are still there but really don’t detract. You either get that or use individual fenders and then deal with major panel fit issues. Not really visible from most views. The triangular chrome magnet puller is an extra grill center. And chrome plating is probably adding to the thickness of the center cap that was tough to get out. Quick swipe with a knife will shave it right down no issue. Really impressed with the door details and the fact the sit as well as they do. (ballsy move with the design on the stock center caps) Honestly not the target audience for the Hell Charger, but very impressed with this vehicle’s execution.
The magnet being pushed too far in can be replaced if the customer thinks he cannot accept the magnet being pushed too far in, which in itself a mistake. For the other part that cannot fit, we can also provide a replacement. A correct part would be able to fit without much difficulty.
There is a tab and hole that connects the blower to the engine block. If the belt is stretched a little to "loosen" it , it will not pull down on the engine block, and with some finesse, the belt on will fit with the blower on the top level, not tilted like in your video.
The Flame Head can fit a Valaverse as the peg and hole size is almost the same. It is meant to fit on a Marvel Legends, we have shown the head fitting on a Marvel Legends on our social media.
I appreciate you opening it and trying to assemble it on camera. It's a good representation of what we might experience. Watched this largely because I ordered the armored black van, and the tank.
As I've seen how quickly Ace will act on feedback, I'm glad you pointed out all this stuff and he as always seems to be taking notes. I'm sure Ramen Toys is learning a lot from this. If they do a second run like most 3P companies do, I will certainly pick one of these up then if these issues are addressed.
Cost is cost. We all have our own idea of value. This looks fantastic and would allow for some great dio pics. I’m most looking forward to the AV. I was impressed by the “Wolverine” set up with the firing effects. It’s something I want in my collection. I have had a few things from Ramen Toys and they are all quality. I am of the impression that 6” vehicles can fudge a bit in scale to not take too much shelf space. Compressing the length or width is okay if the overall look is well rounded. Chargers are long vehicles. It would still look appealing with 1:12 th action figures if it were compressed some. I’m sure Pumisher, Blade, Robbie Reyes, soldiers, etc will look good with this car.
The price makes it something I would hold above the small fitting issues. But those issues are there nonetheless. So all that $$$ value is there to distract from Basic assembly issues with aesthetics, lights and sounds. It’s a trade off I don’t see worth the cost, but I definitely see why everyone wants this iconic machine. A car like this appears in so many different stories in so many collectable lines. Marvel, DC, Joe, Neca, the new FIST….hell, I would bet Cosmic Legions has a fig this would work with. Does Supernatural fall under a MacFarlane line? Nice review, but I’m glad you did not have to take the hit on that price. You have great friends!
Honestly I would sooner buy this than a HasBlab vehicle. The $280 price tag is worth everything you get with all of the customizability and pieces for that, which you get. I would pay that price for this Ramen Racer, as opposed to a Mondo Cartoon Rogue which was plagued with issues. In fact, every Mondo X-Men animated figure has had QC issues. Too many to warrant that proce tag. I want this vehicle for my Marvel Legends Punisher figures.
It is expensive and it does look like it has some design and QC issues but it still has a lot of possibilites. It does look like Ramen tried to maximize the possibilities for car. This can be a Ghost Rider car and comes with a head, if you change the front end and tail lights out it can be a Blade car and with the blower it can be Dom's car from Fast & the Furious. It can be a 68,69 and 70 Dodge Charger.
I'm super excited for this car, like Punk said there is no perfect toy. Considering the number of configuration options engineered in, I'm impressed. Punk gave a fairly critical evaluation, which I like and appreciate. I think it's fine being hard on something you've spent your hard earned money on, And I know "that's what she said"........lol
I love this car. I have to get my hands on one of these. Great review buddy.👍🔥🔥🔥🔥

I think a more basic model without all the extra parts and cheaper price would have been great . How many ppl will really be switching them out like that i think most will keep it in fire mode and leave it like that . Maybe he will release a more basic model later for more people to buy .
Well initially this was offered at a much cheaper price point with all this, and that was my complaint cause Ramen wasn’t really established when taking money. But in the end they came through and I think they look pretty good.

@@Apunkwithtoys it looks good for sure but you demonstrated the difficulty of changing out the parts for the average collector probably doesnt want to deal with . You already could buy it without flames and some parts. It depends on when and where it was bought. It gets a little confusing because as the prices changed in time, so did what it came with. 1. Early bird buyers paid less but the least paid ones did not come with everything, the fire effects and stuff became an optional add-on that cost extra. 2. When the price got raised to $280 Ramen decided to include with everything. That’s when I came in using articulatedNinja’s $35 off coupon. 3. If you buy it for $250 from BBTS you have to buy the flame effects and stuff as an add-on. About $20. Hopefully I’m remembering this all fairly correctly as it became confusing. Lastly, the reviewer stated he did not pay for it. It was borrowed from a friend to review and it was a great genuine raw review just like the good old days pre-2015 TH-cam.

I have to confess a secret. After waiting so long and hearing that Ramen is going to make a Ramen Razor as well, 2 weeks ago I decided I could not wait further into July-Aug for mine and got a refund since I could really use the money. After watching this video and reading other comments, I don’t feel so bad about it anymore. Just imagine a half mill was pooled for this! Ramen must have made a killing. Another reason I got a refund was that I found out about a company that makes 1/12 RC scale licensed replicas that fit figures in them for half the cost of the Ramen Racer!
Mine has a few issues too, the Window isn’t glued in so it’s laying on Dash, and the BL flame effect is missing the Battery cover so I can’t use it being that is that holds it into the car for display. They pegs are molded into the battery covers. I have reached out and Ace said it will be taken care of. Also I feel like many people are nitpicking stupid stuff on the car to just make them feel better about not having one !!! At the EOD there’s two kinds of collectors. @thejester8136 and the belt on the engine? The bumper clearly doesn't fit on properly as he had no trouble with the first one.
