Jung Sung Ryong shouldn't be starting anymore for Kawasaki, he is past his prime.
However both goalkeepers had to deal with bad defences, so i guess we can take pity on them. Great attacking diaplays from both teams and the scoreline just goes to show how competitive the J-League has become. Happy for Jubilo, theyve become a rocky team like how Norwich was until they got relegated 2 seasons ago. They will need those 3 points. Sorry for the essay

Not really. Most of the in-play shots were either extremely difficult to save or impossible because of how the play broke down. You should credit the players more than criticize the keepers' age. The finishing and placement was sublime stuff from both sides

Great game and top work from Jubilo. What was the ref doing needing VAR to give the pen for the 4th goal though and not letting the 5th goal stand. Absolutely awful from the lad - just glad that Jubilo got the win that they deserved.

That handball PK was a bad call since Jubilo already scored, so it should've counted and the goal should've stood as "advantage". But I guess they still made the penalty so all is right in the universe haha
Nope right call. It hits the attackers arm which is handling of the ball. However since it hits the defenders arm first the handball by the attacker is not taken into consideration when determining a penalty. So it was infact the right call by the rules of football
@@Toast2005Not 100% sure what you are talking about. The defender's arm touched the ball first, normally that's penalty but the attacker retrieved the ball after the handball by the defender and scored, which means that whole sequence after the handball should've been counted as "advantage", "Advantage is when an offence (foul, handball, offside, technical, etc.) occurs and, because the non-offending team has useful possession of the ball, the referee allows play to continue, as it is to their benefit."
The referee should've (and he did it right automatically during live play) wait a few seconds to allow a possible advantage to develop (which turned into a goal), and if the non-offending team does not benefit and gains no advantage (as in if they couldn't have scored), the original free kick can be given. But you simply don't let the advantage happens (let the attacker score) and review the situation and then blow the whistle for a previous offence.
You're right, I was reading comments and no one was talking about this, J-League refs make some really amateurish calls sometimes, last year was the same

@@born7sSo you don't know the rules of football. If the ball hits the attacker's arm and he scores, the goal must be disallowed even if he did not intend to. The goal would have been disallowed if it had only touched his hand, but the ball first touched the defender's arm, resulting in a penalty. Judge got the shot right.

No he should not be replaced he should be released, he hasn't got that much consistency, he loses his focus all the time and he is not aware of what is going on around him. That's why Kawasaki need to sign a new goalkeeper

El último penal no tiene sentido puesto que no hay más ventaja que el gol marcado, sin embargo lo anulan para marcar la mano y favorecer al equipo infractor, y además yendo al VAR... Una desgracia esa decisión para el arbitraje

I believe the rules were changed a few years ago to prevent teams from being punished twice for the same incident. The automatic red card was given for denying a goal scoring opportunity BUT if a penalty has been awarded, then the goal scoring opportunity is still there. So, as long as the defending player makes a legitimate attempt to play the ball, which in this case the keeper did, then a yellow card and a penalty are awarded. No referee bias and for once VAR was used correctly.

Jung Sung-ryong is the worst goalkeeper in the league by far since last year. He can't save a pool ball in a futsal net. Poor positioning in these goals, poor reflexes and no agility whatsoever. His prime is in the past, please, Toru Oniki, start Kamifukumoto from now on.
