FBA lost and/or ruined so much of my product we had to stop in 2019. We removed over 6k products. Was a horror show. So bad we actually had products coming back for 3 years that they all of a sudden found. Was great for years. Unfortunately it had to end for us
Twenty years on Amazon. Fees are out of control. Low stock fee is final straw for me. I have a toy set listed for $20. Originally, it was listed at $16. Even with the price increase, my profit is less than $2 per set. My cost for the product is $3.50. Amazon takes almost $15 per set in FBA seller fees. I'm selling what I have and getting out.
Sell both FBA and FBM going on 6 years Individually. Been selling FBM a lot more now due to the additional fees and the shipping costs now being higher this year
I always wanted to sell on Amazon fba but heard one to many horror stories and the fulfilment cost confused me, I been selling on eBay on and off since 2015
I sell what i can on Amazon FBA, but am gated in a lot. Started about 3 years ago. Just got ungated in DVDs so went through my eBay inventory and have about 60 that i need to ship in. Trying to decide wether or not to open a professional account...i guess if i can sell 40 items a month it's worth it, but even if not, i guess you need a professional account now to get the buy box so you'd theoretically sell faster and for more $....
I prefer Amazon over eBay.. better sell through.. to be fair with these fees.. amazon has to hire additional seasonal warehouse workers, delivery drivers, additional 3rd party logistics just to handle demand🤷🏼♂️ i don’t have to deal with any of that except for a small fee per item
Been selling lightly for about 5 years now i started FBA but they destroyed all my products as i sell toys action figures still in boxes. They usually take down my listings cities needing safety documents i stopped trying to submit any cause it's too much time and
I'd love a video to actually learn how to turn a profit selling on Amazon...I mean FBA fees are just crazy...also doesn't Amazon ban certain items from being sold during Christmas season as it completed with their products ....I heard some electronics and toys cannot be sold during holiday season...is that true? 🤷🏻♂️
I'd like to see the same thing. I'd go nuts as a one man show dealing with Amazon with vintage stuff. I am curious out selling NIB items or books through Amazon though.
I sell vintage, i've never seen much of a reason to sell that type of thing on Amazon. I've thought about it with books as I can get many for free, but they seem to sell fine on ebay, especially for lotting up books of a similar genre. I think books that sell $15 & over might do better on Amazon, it's just always seemed to be a p.i.t.a. compared to Ebay
@@greendoorinvestments $39 total. The others look weird cause they are other denominations. Also sometimes if you sell something on another marketplace the fees might be charged to your card as well.
How many people sell on amazon in my comments? Do you like it more or less than ebay?
Is this for the FBA or FBM?

Stopped selling on Amazon 8 years ago and never want to sell there again. Horrible policies and practices that are detrimental to small businesses.

I stopped fba and do WFS through Walmart. It's cheaper and they typically offer fee discounts during this time
Don't try coming back bro we put you on the list!!!!

Amazon will keep your money for anything they feel is not right.

Do you know if Amazon changes an additional 39.99 for Canada and Brazil?
@@greendoorinvestments not sure. That’s the USA selling pro fee
No they split the fee between each marketplace.
