Israeli defense systems intercept projectiles over Haifa

Israel on Tuesday detected the arrival of more than a hundred projectiles against the north of the country, mainly the city of Haifa and adjacent areas of Galilee, fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon after a year of open confrontation.
Most of the rockets were intercepted and only a few landed in open areas, the army said. The rockets arrived in two consecutive batches: the first one with 85 projectiles and the second one with 20.
The shells triggered air raid alarms in the northern city, but also in the Upper Galilee and Central Galilee regions.
