Understanding 12 Column Grid for your website | Adobe XD 2021
The 8px grid is organizing framework for ui design. 8px is foundation is for many units. Within the grid columns provides structure and consistency in visual design. They are invisible guide for setting typography, padding and margin between elements.

11:21 Hi. I'm a total noob, sorry. I don't get it, doesn't your logo need to be aligned to the column too?
15:26 I thought elements should " never " (even if there is no " never " in UI-UX design if I understand it correctly) in the gutters and yet your " send " button does.

what would be the container size for 1440 web?

For more than 1400px art board, container size should be 1320px
For 1200px to 1399px art board, Container size should be 1140px
For 992px to 1199px art board, Container size should be 960px
For 768px to 991px art board, Container size should be 720px
For 576px to 767px art board, Container size should be 540
