Nice bit of kit Ben I totally agree with you about landing net poles being a mega important piece of your tackle.if you start catching big carp the last thing you need is a heavy net handle it ain't no fun holding some of those that are still on the market.maver have got a few knocking about that are like scaffolding poles .people who haven't got an upto date one will be amazed how much it makes the job of landing big fish a lot easier.the price really is erelavent if it makes catching and netting fish quicker n easier you've got to get one .
Hiya mate. Im looking for a 4 metre landing net pole. Which would you recommend the most... the airity... the tournament or the tournament pro. Thanks in advance
If you want the best on the market in my opinion its the guru 5m, I just fish it without the number 1 section in as top 2 sections are threaded & stick in the mini extension
Morning Ben, just to say I bought this pole handle on your recommendation. It's had average use mainly on the shorter length for river use and it's been Fantastic. I do look after my kit and it sits housed in solid plastic waste pipe for added protection. Can't fault it. However, I recently started some commercial fishing due to the closed season, using it at the longer length, thinner extension. I never overtighten the threads, but on the last use of about 3 times the thread is now turning inside the carbon. I think in the manufacturing phase, it must be glued and not then pinned? Very frustrating! I think the warranty is 12 months so I'll need to investigate this. If outside of the warranty, this could be a pain because I'm not sure how a repair can be made? Thought I'd let others know of a potential flaw on this otherwise top carbon handle.
Hi, Ben. I’m looking at purchasing the tournament or the airity. Is there much difference? I know you’ve done a review on both but not sure which one to go with. Thanks
Reading some amazon reviews for this handle. A couple saying mid section has broken easily when lifting a 1lb fish? What's your experience to date with this product please?
@@Angling4U Any idea what the handle is made of? I've looked online but can't see the material? I'll probably order this handle in any case, based upon your recommendation and experience. Thanks & top vids
Great Vids as usual! Just torn between the Tournament and the Airity, surely the Airity is better especially when it’s only £10 more than the Tournament? Please tell me why if not?
Love watching these videos, watched the matrix p25 mk2 seatbox review other day, looks a lovely budget box definitely going to get that as my first box
Just been online Ben to look at these handles after the vid there coming up between £110 to 119 ISH It says diawa tournament But another is saying diawa tournament pro £135 so is there two different ones or are they the same because they both look the same Cheers mate
Shimmano new landing pole is 165 lol really dnt get why they gone so expensive for wat they are not be got 2.7 m Preston carp and it’s bang on to say it’s only 2.7 m light weight looks bang on aswell
I've had both the tournament 4m and acolyte 4m and in my opinion the acolyte is better, had my tourni broke twice and had to be replaced, the acolyte is very strongn and stiff

Not unless your been silly that would happen to any handle. I've had fish to 18lb in there no problem

Hi Ben but you need two landing handles
most new handles give the versatility of 2 handles for different jobs
Great handle but do not use the whole length for carp. I managed to break 3rd piece.
Sorry to hear that I love it mainly only use it with 2 sections
