I do agree there is some really bad energy in that house. It is no longer a loving, peaceful home for a happy family! And history tends to repeat itself. Especially after the Millers are leaving a year and a half after moving in. Why are they leaving other than maybe the divorce. But why did Mr. Miller get so violent when his wife says he would never do anything to any of them! Was he taken over by the same violent energy that Chris perhaps was? Not saying Chris was possessed and didn’t make his own bad and evil choices due to the influence of NK!
I agree. Almost all hauntings are caused when people died suddenly and or violently, especially when the the guilty parties have not been brought to justice. I feel here only one of the guilty party's has been brought to justice and we still don't know the truth. I can only imagine how traumatic it would be for Shanann, being robbing of her life and her children's lives so violently. I would not be surprised if there has been odd thing going on, especially being such a young family moving in. And all the people bothering them. But who knows what the real reason is, it could be a thousand different reasons and they don't owe anyone an explanation.

There's an article published last month about a CBI forensic scientist, Yvonne Woods who was caught manipulating data. The article I read said that so far, they have identified over 650 cases that were impacted. They ended up auditing all the CBI analysts and found another analyst in Weld County doing the same. The unfortunate thing is that the only person who can reopen the case is Rourke. I don't know what it would take to force him to reopen. I worry that even if there was proof that something was tested incorrectly, he would say it doesn't matter because Chris confessed.
The back garden /yard is MINUTE for the size of the house. Ridiculous size especially with the crowded jammed up houses/condos now built up to the rear if the house. Awful.
Standard lot size. Some people would rather a large home and small yard . It's the same for the rest of the neighborhood. Colorado has beautiful backdrop plenty of parks and areas to enjoy you don't need acres of land nor could anyone afford it.

I like how the Millers redid the decor and painted with fresher subltler colours. The house looks alot brighter, bigger and happier to be in. The asking price is way too high imo for that neighborhood though.
I presume they couldn't handle how popular the home is, with all of the curious , true crime people driving by and pictures/videos on the constant. With children, that would be very discerning. My brother in law and his wife bought houses, they started off small but they lived in them while fixing them up for about three years, also something to do with taxes as well if they lived in it. They gradually built up to bigger homes and then building homes and they lived in those as well. They now live in an over million dollar home setting on the ocean in Australia. 🇦🇺 but they also never had children to worry about in investing like this. They also ran a business of selling houses hold things. The brother in law also worked as a chef in a hotel. Very ambitious people. Now they’re both retired early sixties, travel around in a motor home when they choose. The virus when it hit slowed down their travels, so they say they kinda got use to not traveling as much.

For what they are asking for it, they should have at least changed the carpet or even better installed hardwood floors. They would get more offers if they had hardwood floors. They are so much easier to keep clean and better for allergies. I mean, if the house was built in 2013, then the carpet is 11 years old. Even if Shanann hadn't been dragged over it, it's old. It should have been changed. I'm not sure if I really like the cubbies in the living room painted black. I would have painted maybe a shade or two darker of the main color of the room. As a matter of fact, I think that they painted a lot of the rooms the same color as my old house had been.I like when rooms are all painted the same color with the exception of one or two. It makes the house look more cohesive. Having blue bathrooms and laundry rooms seems to make houses more attractive. Although it's important to know the market you're in and what sells the best there.
As someone who lives here. It’s getting ridiculously expensive to live, so maybe that’s it. I have a feeling it may be a little more than that though too. The trauma that occurred there had to have opened some doors to some dark things 😢
what about those cameras/security systems in their house that supposedly recorded everything and stored it on some cloud where chris could not delete them? i remember hearing on some video that police got hold of the recordings but they are classified, the company provided it for them, chris only deleted them on the house devices. i hate typing his name😖
After viewing it on Zillow, I did notice the dining room ceiling that Shanann painted purple, is now beige. The kids’ bedrooms are all beige now. They were pink & teal or aqua when the Girls had them. In fact, the Millers chose to lighten the entire home! Very beautiful house! I hope some wonderful, loving Family will purchase it and have MANY HAPPY YEARS in it! 🥰🙏🏻😇
Why knock it down? I grew up on Long Island, 20 minutes from Ocean Avenue in Amityville. That house is still there and people are living in it… still has gawkers doing drive bys, and always will

I noticed in one of the realtor photos of the main floor living room, the Millers have "These were the moments that time stood still", with the photos of their 3 children as newborns centered on the main wall. I just found that phrase eerily profound, considering the 3 Watts children ( I'm counting Nico), were needlessly robbed of their young lives, who also called that house their home.
Exactly, it's disrespectful of the three children who were murdered. "Time stood still," can be said for death, too. Such a poor choice of words placed smack dab in large print on that wall in that great room. I'm sure it wasn't done with that in mind, but how could the Millers not have thought that.

I’ve heard several people say that the woman (Mrs. Miller) was on Watts Facebook groups before purchasing the home and seemed obsessed w SW and the house. The way she posted the photos of her and her 3 kids in the kitchen when they bought the home, plus all the interaction on social media and the big long numbered list about their reasons for buying the home just never sat right with me. To me, if you reeeeally loved this particular home, and just had to buy it despite the tragic history, & you also didn’t want any negative attention drawn to your family, the last thing you should be doing is posting a response to crazies on social media about your family’s reasons for buying the home. Why not just ignore it and let it all die down?? Plus someone also mentioned that the new color scheme in the living room off the kitchen/dining was painted the same as the house on the Lifetime Watts movie. Now I’m not for certain about any of this, but those first photos and the social media thing just always left a bad taste in my mouth. It just seemed like she wanted attention from it all and wanted her family to be remembered along w the Watts, which I didn’t exactly like the taste that left either. Then how she decorated her daughter’s rooms eerily similar to Bella & Cece’s w the names on the walls, idk. I just wouldn’t be too sure it was “just a coincidence”. Everyone, including the Millers, know what happened in that home and to have the phrase, “Time stood still,” plastered on the front sitting room of that home, knowing what happened there….nuh uh. And I worked in what is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in Oklahoma (according to my cousin the ghost chaser). I believe when you pass you go one way or the other. To be honest i would not be comfortable living in a house where a murder took place. The basement looks nice and cozy. But i would feel a eerie presence. Just saying.
I think it will have paranormal things happen because it was just such a horrific thing that happened. And I don’t care what many think I believe both girls were killed between 9:00 - 9:30 on Sunday night in the house and Shannan was only alive about 5 minutes after waking into that door.

Whether he tried to kill them the night before and failed or didn’t try . What he confessed to in the Wisconsin prison was the most horrible thing ever I can’t believe he would have admitted that if it wasn’t true. As far as Shannan I don’t think he could have killed her without more evidence on her body unless she was asleep . From everything I’ve heard about her I just can’t believe she’d lie there and let him strangle her but if she was asleep when he got his hands around her neck he could have cut off her oxygen before she had enough time to react. I agree with the comment that Chris was telling the truth, partly truth, because it paints himself as a worse monster telling the story he gave but… we never see a second child’s shadow so it is very possible only one was alive. I’d say Bella was the shadow because of his heartbreaking story of her.

Man, I have always wondered if weird stuff would happen there. Where evil goes, it stays. My Aunt moved into a home that had a similar history. She WAS a sceptic before but ended up having to move out because they could hear screams and cries at night in their son’s bedroom.

I’ve dealt with paranormal things and seen ghosts, along w others who also saw/heard things while living in those places. And those were places that DIDN’T have the tragic history of the Watts home. It would be especially scary at night. Then those police cam videos when neighbors saw a dark-haired woman go in the home when no one was there, yet no one saw the woman ever leave and the cops found no one there. Then the EVPs, especially the “This is our home” & “I’m with Cece” 😖. Nope. No way. I’d be terrified. I think this house not being owned outright & still having a mortgage, plus the entire neighborhood being under a HOA are probably reasons that it won’t be torn down. Unfortunately. Dahmer’s entire apartment building, Gacy’s house, the house where that guy had kidnapped those three girls and kept them for years before they escaped. They do indeed tear down houses in the US where bad things happen, but the circumstances are different w the Watts house for now.

I would have to say nothing against shanaan, but i definitely prefer this new style of the house. Beautiful wow. And if im tobe honest in my opinion the main bedroom looks so much more bright, and cheerful as opposed to dark and sinister.

Love the colors, much better!! It definitely needs hardwood floors or new carpeting. They have beautiful hardwood imitations that are really durable and stain resistant.
The home is beautiful. I like the pop of orange on the outside of the house. Shan'ann is at peace. Something eerie with the house, especially with the window Second one from the end, one of the kids bedrooms when Shan'ann lived there always a darkness. No one will stay in that house for very long. It has an energy no matter how many new layers of paint they put on the walls. That energy will always drain the smoke alarm batteries sooner.

It’s been a very long time since that tragedy occurred and people are still very much aware of what happened. We can only speculate why the Millers have put their house on the market. Maybe they wanted to redecorate and renovate it so I could have love and not have the negitive hold it has had on it. It will always be shannans home and that will never leave that house. But at least it has had love and care. They knew the house would be constantly busy with people coming by, taking photos etc etc when they brought it. But they have made it their home and now maybe they have done what was needed and it's time to pass it on to another family who will make their forever home ❤

i have a small 3 bed 1 bathroom home in south australia , this is definatley a mansion ... but my home has front and back garden which i feel is a luxury.
Some home's are like that, every few years they're sold, people break up, go bankrupt or even worse what happened to Shan'ann and the kids. It's like they have bad mojo, super beautiful but cold as ice where love can't grow or is stifled after the families move in. This house will be sold many more times, watch and see.

Last year I put my beloved, sweet dog whom I was super close to down. It literally broke my heart and still does. One early morning around 4:00 a.m I looked out my kitchen window and saw a beautiful, pulsating multi colored ball of light and am for certain it was my sweet pup letting me know she's still here❤ some things just can't be explained

The office was downstairs next to laundry and garage and then 4 bedrooms upstairs so I’m not sure if the spare bedroom was the office or the boys room was the office cause the spare was shown with girls and master then boys room was shown with laundry room which I don’t understand cause all 3 of my kids rooms would of been upstairs with me and I wouldn’t want one on bottom floor when everyone else was on the second! $4,067 estimated monthly mortgage payment + $70 per month HOA fees. That’s ridiculous!!! HOA is bullcrap anymore it was originally started as a way for subdivisions and communities to keep a balance so people who took care of their property and lawns didn’t have that one or two pain in the butt neighbor with a junkyard or unmowed lawn that was trashed out and it helped keep the entire neighborhood looking nice and didn’t have some dragging property values down and I mean the foundation of HOA is kinda good but having to pay out and they can sue you if you don’t pay and they can tell you exactly what length to mow, what kinds of trees, bushes, flowers etc you can put on your property, how to decorate your house for holidays, they can even evict you if the inside of your home is messy! Yes, recently found that out if they receive complaints about the house and you’re a hoarder for example even if not messy just a ton of stuff then they can demand you take care of it in 30 days or get evicted cause it’s a fire hazard! No thank you! Not that I’m messy or anything but I would rather not have anyone telling me how to do the outside and inside of my house thank you. Also, I would be happy paying a lot less and getting more land anyway! You have no front or back yard.
Well the Watts were living above their means, they couldn't afford to live there... so you can only imagine what the mortgage payments were for the Millers. The house went up in value. Me personally I liked Shannon's home that she had before she met Chris in North Carolina...It was a much better looking home than her home in Colorado.

Yeah… I want that house. I wanted it last year too, but it was too much and time does make a difference in how much of a loan you can apply for. I do agree there is some really bad energy in that house. It is no longer a loving, peaceful home for a happy family! And history tends to repeat itself. Especially after the Millers are leaving a year and a half after moving in. Why are they leaving other than maybe the divorce. But why did Mr. Miller get so violent when his wife says he would never do anything to any of them! Was he taken over by the same violent energy that Chris perhaps was? I agree. Almost all hauntings are caused when people died suddenly and or violently, especially when the the guilty parties have not been brought to justice. I feel here only one of the guilty party's has been brought to justice and we still don't know the truth. I can only imagine how traumatic it would be for Shanann, being robbing of her life and her children's lives so violently. I would not be surprised if there has been odd thing going on, especially being such a young family moving in. And all the people bothering them. But who knows what the real reason is, it could be a thousand different reasons and they don't owe anyone an explanation.

There's an article published last month about a CBI forensic scientist, Yvonne Woods who was caught manipulating data. The article I read said that so far, they have identified over 650 cases that were impacted. They ended up auditing all the CBI analysts and found another analyst in Weld County doing the same. The unfortunate thing is that the only person who can reopen the case is Rourke. I don't know what it would take to force him to reopen. I worry that even if there was proof that something was tested incorrectly, he would say it doesn't matter because Chris confessed.

The back garden /yard is MINUTE for the size of the house. Ridiculous size especially with the crowded jammed up houses/condos now built up to the rear if the house. Awful.
Standard lot size. Some people would rather a large home and small yard . It's the same for the rest of the neighborhood. Colorado has beautiful backdrop plenty of parks and areas to enjoy you don't need acres of land nor could anyone afford it.

My brother in law and his wife bought houses, they started off small but they lived in them while fixing them up for about three years, also something to do with taxes as well if they lived in it. They gradually built up to bigger homes and then building homes and they lived in those as well. They now live in an over million dollar home setting on the ocean in Australia. 🇦🇺 but they also never had children to worry about in investing like this. They also ran a business of selling houses hold things. The brother in law also worked as a chef in a hotel. Very ambitious people. Now they’re both retired early sixties, travel around in a motor home when they choose. The virus when it hit slowed down their travels, so they say they kinda got use to not traveling as much.

For what they are asking for it, they should have at least changed the carpet or even better installed hardwood floors. They would get more offers if they had hardwood floors. They are so much easier to keep clean and better for allergies. I mean, if the house was built in 2013, then the carpet is 11 years old. Even if Shanann hadn't been dragged over it, it's old. It should have been changed. I'm not sure if I really like the cubbies in the living room painted black. I would have painted maybe a shade or two darker of the main color of the room. As a matter of fact, I think that they painted a lot of the rooms the same color as my old house had been.I like when rooms are all painted the same color with the exception of one or two. It makes the house look more cohesive. Having blue bathrooms and laundry rooms seems to make houses more attractive. Although it's important to know the market you're in and what sells the best there.
We are not 100% sure if he drag her at all . I highly doubt she was killed in the master bedroom but the basement .

As someone who lives here. It’s getting ridiculously expensive to live, so maybe that’s it. I have a feeling it may be a little more than that though too. The trauma that occurred there had to have opened some doors to some dark things 😢

After viewing it on Zillow, I did notice the dining room ceiling that Shanann painted purple, is now beige. The kids’ bedrooms are all beige now. They were pink & teal or aqua when the Girls had them. In fact, the Millers chose to lighten the entire home! Very beautiful house! The way she posted the photos of her and her 3 kids in the kitchen when they bought the home, plus all the interaction on social media and the big long numbered list about their reasons for buying the home just never sat right with me. To me, if you reeeeally loved this particular home, and just had to buy it despite the tragic history, & you also didn’t want any negative attention drawn to your family, the last thing you should be doing is posting a response to crazies on social media about your family’s reasons for buying the home. Why not just ignore it and let it all die down?? Plus someone also mentioned that the new color scheme in the living room off the kitchen/dining was painted the same as the house on the Lifetime Watts movie. Now I’m not for certain about any of this, but those first photos and the social media thing just always left a bad taste in my mouth. It just seemed like she wanted attention from it all and wanted her family to be remembered along w the Watts, which I didn’t exactly like the taste that left either. Then how she decorated her daughter’s rooms eerily similar to Bella & Cece’s w the names on the walls, idk. I just wouldn’t be too sure it was “just a coincidence”. Everyone, including the Millers, know what happened in that home and to have the phrase, “Time stood still,” plastered on the front sitting room of that home, knowing what happened there….nuh uh. As far as Shannan I don’t think he could have killed her without more evidence on her body unless she was asleep . From everything I’ve heard about her I just can’t believe she’d lie there and let him strangle her but if she was asleep when he got his hands around her neck he could have cut off her oxygen before she had enough time to react. I’d say Bella was the shadow because of his heartbreaking story of her.

Man, I have always wondered if weird stuff would happen there. Where evil goes, it stays. My Aunt moved into a home that had a similar history. She WAS a sceptic before but ended up having to move out because they could hear screams and cries at night in their son’s bedroom.

Then those police cam videos when neighbors saw a dark-haired woman go in the home when no one was there, yet no one saw the woman ever leave and the cops found no one there. No one will stay in that house for very long. It has an energy no matter how many new layers of paint they put on the walls. That energy will always drain the smoke alarm batteries sooner.
There's houses like that, almost predestined to have people move in because they're beautiful homes but then it destroys the families. That house will sell many more times and whoever lives there won't find happiness.

Seeing pictures of the master bedroom, I question how someone can go to bed every night and not think of a life being taken in that space. Most likely exactly where the bed is placed.

We can only speculate why the Millers have put their house on the market. Maybe they wanted to redecorate and renovate it so I could have love and not have the negitive hold it has had on it. It will always be shannans home and that will never leave that house. But at least it has had love and care. They knew the house would be constantly busy with people coming by, taking photos etc etc when they brought it. But they have made it their home and now maybe they have done what was needed and it's time to pass it on to another family who will make their forever home ❤

i have a small 3 bed 1 bathroom home in south australia , this is definatley a mansion ... but my home has front and back garden which i feel is a luxury.
Some home's are like that, every few years they're sold, people break up, go bankrupt or even worse what happened to Shan'ann and the kids. It's like they have bad mojo, super beautiful but cold as ice where love can't grow or is stifled after the families move in. This house will be sold many more times, watch and see.

Last year I put my beloved, sweet dog whom I was super close to down. It literally broke my heart and still does. One early morning around 4:00 a.m I looked out my kitchen window and saw a beautiful, pulsating multi colored ball of light and am for certain it was my sweet pup letting me know she's still here❤ some things just can't be explained

The office was downstairs next to laundry and garage and then 4 bedrooms upstairs so I’m not sure if the spare bedroom was the office or the boys room was the office cause the spare was shown with girls and master then boys room was shown with laundry room which I don’t understand cause all 3 of my kids rooms would of been upstairs with me and I wouldn’t want one on bottom floor when everyone else was on the second! $4,067 estimated monthly mortgage payment + $70 per month HOA fees. That’s ridiculous!!! HOA is bullcrap anymore it was originally started as a way for subdivisions and communities to keep a balance so people who took care of their property and lawns didn’t have that one or two pain in the butt neighbor with a junkyard or unmowed lawn that was trashed out and it helped keep the entire neighborhood looking nice and didn’t have some dragging property values down and I mean the foundation of HOA is kinda good but having to pay out and they can sue you if you don’t pay and they can tell you exactly what length to mow, what kinds of trees, bushes, flowers etc you can put on your property, how to decorate your house for holidays, they can even evict you if the inside of your home is messy! Yes, recently found that out if they receive complaints about the house and you’re a hoarder for example even if not messy just a ton of stuff then they can demand you take care of it in 30 days or get evicted cause it’s a fire hazard! No thank you! Not that I’m messy or anything but I would rather not have anyone telling me how to do the outside and inside of my house thank you. Also, I would be happy paying a lot less and getting more land anyway! You have no front or back yard.
Well the Watts were living above their means, they couldn't afford to live there... so you can only imagine what the mortgage payments were for the Millers. The house went up in value. Me personally I liked Shannon's home that she had before she met Chris in North Carolina...It was a much better looking home than her home in Colorado.

Yeah… I want that house. I wanted it last year too, but it was too much and time does make a difference in how much of a loan you can apply for. But haunted or not, I still want it and I’m pretty sure this time I may actually be able to afford it. I’m honestly excited it’s back on the market for Sale.
