Great video very helpful for the oem upholstery I’m going to install. I’m glad I don’t have to cut the openings for the headrest and release latch. Paid $500 for the oem take offs. I find it odd that these $1000 + clones are not precut. Is there a reason that couldn’t be integrated into your manufacturing process ?

Thanks for the great video! Let me ask you, are there any safeguards or things I should pay detailed attention to around the airbags? Videos on youtube don't seem to show much about airbags and Katzkins other than some material that wraps around it...I'm really confused. Please advise.
Hey Javier, since our 2018 has the base seat model, we did not have to worry about air bags when installing it. We recommend calling Katzkin directly and seeing if they have any further information when installing their seat upholstery onto airbag seat applications.

Do the plastic retaining clips need to be transferred over to the new leather seats? I have the cloth seats do I need to re-use those or they already come with the leather upholstery you provided?
The retaining clips will be included with the new upholstery. You won't have to worry about transferring anything over.

Question, how do I get to my anchors for my car seat? They covered it. Am I missing something? CarMax put them in
Hi Jessica,
All S550 Mustangs include the car seat anchors from factory. If possible, take the seats to a trusted local shop and have them inspect it to see if CaMax covered them by accident. They can then show you what you need to do next to fix the issue.
I need more foam chusion. I have the cloth base model seats. Uncomfortable..
Owners if you have factory leather seats and you want to replace those worn out seats but would still like your heating and cool seats to be functional your local upholstery shop would be able to poke holes and make these perforated therefore don’t worry 👍
You can order the covers perforated as well.
