    Totally agree, however a restless subconcious isn't the only reason for waking between 3 and 5 am. I'm 78, and i find it hard to stay awake much past 9:30 pm, like most my age. My normal 6 and a half to 7 hours sleep therefore ends around 4 to 4:30 am. I'm not trying to get back to sleep, but I still use the quiet time for yoga and mindfulness.
