Imma be very honest since my whole family has army background that I saw Ironwood as a hero who was tired of Team RWBY bs. After they lied for almost a month and have the audacity to say that they have to stay at mantle even though that cause more causalities. Is dumb. In my eyes Ironwood is the only Characters who is actually thinking logically. Maybe because I have army background I understand why Ironwood would behave in that manner. My Great Grandfather behaved the same in WW2
"What is happening" Simple, Ruby learned that Salem encountered Summer and the implication of that meeting. Namely, that Salem killed Summer. She basically has the confirmation of her death, and the reason why, in one "Your mother" attack
"You came back!" So happy. Watts gun actually exists. Ian McCullom on Forgotten Weapons showcased it, its a beautiful french made pinfire from the 1880s. Im really suprised that as paranoid as Ironwood was he never looked in Watts bag.
Glad you are back! About the second episode, as i look back on it, it makes perfect sense, this change in ironwood. The tin man has lost his heart. Now he needs to find it again... or die.
I just so enjoy that every time Qrow gets a hit in it isn't with Harbinger, it's just an old fashioned punch. And each time it does Tyrian gets more and more pi$$ed off.

In case you don't know, Watts never unlocked his semblance and doesn't care to, he feels there isn't anything someone else can do with a semblance he can't replicate with tech. His hacking is the tech behind his rings, it's his "weapon". Ironwoods semblance is called Mettle, it allows him to block out anything that would be a distraction once he sets his mind on a goal. He won't feel pain, or doubt, or fear, he'll just do the job This episode gives us whiplash on our feelings to James lol
That thing with the taskbar you had in the beginning is a bug that sometimes happens on win 10. you can fix it by going into the task manager and restart the windows explorer.
It's the bigger version of the megoliath, like ursa major or king taijitu. Welcome to the gravity biome that we never got to see during the tournament. Did Watts fake his death and join Salem because Ironwood chose the Penny project? It can't be just that. How would Raven know he was disgraced for a secret project? I was expecting illegal experimentation on faunus, involving the aura transfer tech that they ended up using anyway, or something. Love the Aliens soundtrack-sounding bit at the end of Salem's scene. An excellent pair of chapters. Shame about the next one...
Honestly, Ruby and them are idiots. Salem could be minutes away and Ruby just got traumatized by Salem. Ironwood is being realistic to get the evacuation over with and go before Salem gets there because he knows they need to get TF away from her. Honestly, Ironwood is right.
What sucks the most about episode 11 is that the heroes would have won (for the moment) had Cinder not been there. Salem didn't even know she was there. Ironwood's thoughts on how everything was going as Salem planned was actually not true. Had Cinder not been there, how different would things have been?
It's the fear of Salem which destroyed the hope of the hero's, cinder is irrelevant because it doesn't matter who put the piece there. No Salem and no fear, if tyrian had put the queen piece in Ironwoods room the results would of been the same. Salem did know Cinder was there because she heard the conversation, plus that Grimm arm.
