I’ve stumbled on your channel because I have the same truck but in white and blue. It is so fun! Love your lap run edits. They are so similar to something like Indy car or F1 hot lap coverage
There is just no excuse to be running a servo slower then .11 these days The ecoboost 21kg servo are like 40$. Best thing you can do. MORE MINI TRUCKS!!!!!
Get Traxxas 2361 x-rings and replace the stock o-rings. The truck does have a gear diff. While you're in there, get the aluminum diff cap. The diff cap can't deform from tightening the screws down like the plastic. The diff is sealed so you can run diff oils.
i have the same servo but the black edition in my one 4x4 slash that i had given to me because a servo horn adapter was stuck on it and it was easy to pop off for me lol
I love these videos so much! Thanks for sharing. Also, can you put together a video of your tire prep regimen? I think it would be helpful for your increased following! Thanks!
I know its not the same car, but bought an sr10 intending to use it for parking lot racing or maybe in the park ... Did immediately make some changes after first also (shocks, servo and biggest pinion that would fit with spur) and was bit surprised how much it got better already. Not a pro like you in any way, but this little truck doesn't seem to be too bad on a track also. Curious what rest off the tuning will bring performance wise, maybe i can try some off that for my setup too... Grip is always a bit of a thing also on the streets...
Great little truck! I'm just about to build a DR10 and convert it to a RB10 as I go, so I'm excited to see what setup you eventually settle for. Would you improve the steering if you use wider tires up front on it?
I just did almost the same thing. well, got the sc10 pro 2 and added a rb10 body and wider wheels from proline. looks like a stretched RB10. almost like and 8th scale 2wd buddy. the rb10 body required some fitting and velcro to hold it in place and the wing bolts right on.
Can you do a video on how saucing your tires can actually help and how much it can help or if its even worth it might be good for newbies... And I also consider myself one so I'm also asking because I want to see.
The bandit has definitely been a lot of fun wrenching on and making it a contender. But, if you’re looking for a rear motor that is just perfect (in my opinion) I’d say the kyosho Dirt master. It is great bone stock.
I don't care what Tony says, that truck is awesome 😂
Associated makes a steel gear diff case for the DR10 that bolts right in and steel transmission gears.
Adult things=donuts on a three wheeler while drinking a beer and smoking I think? Fun vid!
I'm so happy every time I see a new video from you. You make some of the best videos in the rc community, for sure.
Wow, thanks!

It could work.
Man I hope they make a 4wd version of this truck, ie small short course truck.
That would be pretty sweet
I think this could be a great new class. They remind me of stadium super trucks with how they corner and jump.

Yes. I definitely will.
Thanks I appreciate it!@@mxacres
Since you see a bunch of different rc's at that track... What is your pick for a rear motor buggy, RB10 or Bandit? Merci lol

@@mxacres I was looking at them too but my only worry is parts.. my LHS and the tracks shop does not really carry much Kyosho in stock.
How wide is that track
I believe the lanes are around 6-7ft ish. Not positive
