Thank you, will certainly have a nice trip with the wife. Can't wait for some winter camping. If I was able to go last week, I would have gotten my first taste.
Another fantastic video. Beautiful scenery. Ahhh you need to keep the 4runner. It’s the last best truck around. They really don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Happy early 60th! 🎉🎉🍻 I’m in France almost every month for work. Sometimes multiple times. Can’t beat the pain au chocolate. I highly recommend. Safe travels and happy bday
Great spot Noah and great video! I couldn't quite tell where that was though. Looking forward to spme winter camping too. Its nice and peaceful as long as the wind isn't blowing. Have a great trip with your wife and I hope you have a great birthday.
Thanks Darren, I'm sure we will have fun for my birthday. This was Lost Park off a little side road that I found last year. Surprised that I was alone...did see some hunters though. Can't wait for some winter camping myself.
Another good one. Thanks for introducing us to the JOULLE electric kettle. Looks like something I would be interested in. Enjoy your trip with your other 75%. That's what mine calls herself. LOL
I do think the Joulle will be good in the winter when gas stoves suck. I can tell you, the lid on the Joulle sucks...doesn't like to stay on. I would guess that June thinks she's 75% as well.
@@TheGrumpyGobbler Thanks, I'll be checking out a bunch of reviews on the Joulle. And, as long as we let the other 75% think that and we don't make any comments out loud, we should be safe. LOL
I always get something from watching. Thanks! Have fun in France. Unless you just get tired of having a 4Runner, that little beast will run reliably for hundreds of thousands of miles. Because my wife and I love going offroad, I replaced the radiator (it was due) with an all-aluminum CSF unit that nearly doubles the capacity (provides more cooling capacity for the transmission) and still fits in the same spot just fine. The best part is that there's no plastic like the OEM has that can fail due to the rigors of the trail. I hope you're feeling better. It's essential for dealing with the French. Bon Voyage!
Good to know about the radiator option, never even knew there was another option besides factory. Hopefully mine lasts for quite a while. I do only have 67,000 miles on the 4Runner, but they have been hard ones. Will certainly have fun in France, it will be my second time this year. I go once a year for work, always wanted to take the wife with me and my 60th is a good excuse.
@@TheGrumpyGobbler That's awesome! France has such a sense of civility that we don't have here in the US, although that may have changed in recent years. Regardless, it's a beautiful part of the world. So, are you changing the name of your channel to, "Gobbler Grincheux upon your return? :)) I have almost 71K on mine and I noticed some of the plastic components having "issues." I live in AZ and OEM radiators that see a lot of trail miles are not long for this world. The heat and vibration really are hard on plastic. Besides, I run 33" tires and with the extra weight, controlling the temperatures became a priority. I figured I'd rather determine when my vehicle is down instead of the other way around. The 4Runner transmission operates at a lower temp than other transmissions. I'm 68. Pushing my rig and being stuck in the middle of nowhere has no appeal like it once may have. We look forward to your next post!
It's really nice to see you're putting that shelf to use. I, too, mount my galaxy in the center of my shelf, and i have a small fire extinguisher on one side and a small axe on the other side of it. All you need now are the exterior mollie panels on the rear corner windows as i do.and since you've put the shelf in, there's definitely no trading in the 4runner for anything else 😂😂don't talk nonsense 😂😂. Take care and be safe out there and enjoy building the 4runner.
Agreed on the OuTask Lanterns, they are solid and a keeper. Can you post a link to the round table, nifty for our outings indeed! Great Content & Looking forward to your next release!
That is my wife's table, not totally sure this is the same one, but it's close: amzn.to/3Uro7Kc I'm actually going to move a bit smaller one that packs up a bit better. Glad you like my content and I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
@@TheGrumpyGobbler I did a quick search and you’re right it isn’t cheap. Haha. There have times when I wished I had one when camping in areas with high winds and trying to cook a meal was a challenge. Thanks for sharing it with me 🙏🏼
I have an Old Man Emu 3 inch lift using the heaviest springs and Nitrocharger shocks. The lift is almost 8 years old, but still working well. The tires are 285/70/17's.

Hi, it appears that your Instagram link is missing "the".
Glad you’re not selling your 4Runner; I love camping in mine too. Loved the end where you filmed the night sky.
I'm glad I'm not selling it either...it would be pretty darn dumb to get rid of such a good vehicle.
Thank you for sharing your adventures. I reside in AZ , and hopefully i can visit your area. i love Colorado!
You would certainly not regret making a trip up here. AZ is pretty spectacular as well though.
A Grumpy Gobbler MASTERPIECE!! (thus far...)
BRILLIANT! BRAVO!
Thank you my friend!

Thank you Tom, you're lucky you get to go there so often. I love France.
@ sadly I’m never there long enough to see a lot of it😢
Thanks for another trip, you have given some more great ideas !!

Yes, being stuck out in the middle of nowhere by yourself does not sound fun.

Where did you purchase the wind blocker for the brazier?"
Here: shop.mcranchoverland.com/products/the-original-fire-reflector
It's not inexpensive, but totally worth it.
That was definitely weird, no one has commented on it yet. Almost looks transparent.
Another great video! If you are ever looking for someone to head out with for a few days, drop me a line. Two rigs are always better than one;)
Glad you liked the video. I obviously mostly camp alone, but will certainly drop you a line if I don't feel like being solo.

@the grumpy gobbler , who makes that camp fire windscreen @22:56 ?
