The first time I saw this I was like, what the hell is this. But it gets stuck in your head! It gets better the more you play it! And the Cha Cha Cha just spreads the hype across the people. I think we got ourselves a winner right here.
I know right?! It grows on you and Käärijä makes It work. I’m hooked.
I didn't like it at all when I first heard it and saw the video. Actually I turned the tv off - like "äääh, don't like this kind of performances, it's so odd, strange, the dancers are discusting..." But when I saw the video from the start to the end I started to think that there still is something interesting . When one starts to watch and listen to it with open eyes and ears one catches what it is all about. And then the personality of Käärijä himself!
I have never before been interested about rap. Actually I have hated it. It is worth while to open one's mind! 😊
@@eevahallivuori9660 The only thing I liked is how it was positive energy, was energetic and fun, wholesome and interesting as something different, and the song sounded like it works nice in Finnish, as I was positively surprised to hear the language. I am not a huge fan of Eurovision, but I watched the finale to do something interesting and rest my mind as I had some bad stuff going on in it, as a curiosity, and as I love Finland, it's my dreamland and people are my favorite of all in the world, I was intrigued a bit, so I played the video again. Then, when it ended, I pressed play again immediately, and rest is history.
That's how trap music works... (Unfortunately)

This was the best Eurovillage ever. Best experience of my life being there for this performance. Unreal. Atmosphere in Liverpool was unlike anything I've ever seen.

Meillä on Suomen viisuhistorian parhain edustuskappale, artisti joka oikeasti lähti sillä asenteella, että voitetaan koko kilpailu ja vielä ihan älyttömät mahdollisuudet oikeasti tuoda viisut takas Suomeen 🥳 Lisäksi se, miten paljon koko tiimi ja etenkin Jere on paiskinut hommia ja oikeasti panostanut kaikkeen somehommista lavaesitykseen ja kaikkeen siltä väliltä 💚 Koko Suomen poppoo vaikuttaa niin symppiksiltä ja nöyriltä tyypeiltä, että saa koko kansa olla ylpeä teistä!

Kyllä, samaa mieltä! Käärijä on ymmärtänyt että artistina pitää pystyä tekemään muutakin kuin laulaa lurauttaa tyylipuhdas laulu. Pitää osata heittäytyä tunnelmaan ja showhun sekä osata myös markkinoida itseään ja luoda suhteita. Tätä ei moni suomiartisti osaa eikä varsinkaan viisuedustajat. Käärijä tuntuu niin vilpittömältä ja sydämmelliseltä ihmiseltä että kanssakilpailijatkaan eivät voi olla pitämättä hänestä.

Käärijä on onnistunut valloittamaan eurooppalaisten sydämet olemalla just se tavallinen Jere Vantaalta, jolla on kuitenkin ihan mieletön lavakarisma ja esiintymistaito 🫶🏼 Ja upealla tavalla tuo Suomea maailmankartalle ja samalla onnistuu promoamaan itseään, esim. tuon saunarekan kanssa!

There was a 95 year old Käärijä-fan meeting him at the airport when he came back to Finland! He talked with her and hugged her, it was realky heart-warming! Even grandmas love him!

Käärijä really proved me wrong! I remember for a little while (bit before Loreen's first win) it was a lot of weird kitsch music that wasnt any good in ESC. This guy has a great performance, image and catchy music. He got my vote

On kyllä upeeta kuulua siihen vähemmistöön, joka on jo vuosia ennen tätä UMK- ja viisukeissiä alkanut seuraamaan Jeren uraa ja kuuntelemaan hänen tuotantoaan. Pienten piirien kulttihahmosta ja Urheilucastin välispiikeistä koko Suomen ja maailman tietoisuuteen👏

Mul oli sama fiilis sillon kun Blind Channel edusti meitä! Olin ite kuunnellut vuosia heitä ennen ku ottivat osaa UMK:hen ja oli niin iloinen heidän puolesta, miten paljon saivat huomiota. Varmasti samaa fiilistä on heillä, jotka Käärijän tiesivät ennen UMK:ta. Siinä kokee, että vihdoin muutkin huomaavat, että on Suomessa on paljon hyviä musiikintekijöitä, jotka eivät ole yhtä hyvin esillä kuin useat tunnetut suomalaiset artistit.
Mä ihmettelin, että mistäs tämmöinen ukkeli oikein pomppasi ja pienen googlettelun jälkeen olinkin koukussa. Käärijän biisit on hienoja. Sellaisia juurevia, tulee Leevi and the Leavings mieleen. Puhutaan asioista suoraan ja hoksaavasti. Kävi tässä kisassa miten tahansa, niin koukkuun jäin. Ja veikkaan, että aika moni muukin.

Alunperinhän tätä kappaletta tehdessä ei ilmeisesti Jerellä tai muulla tuotantotiimillä ollut edes ajatuksissa, että se lähetettäisiin UMK:hon. Tuo Leevi & the Leavings -vertaus ei kyllä itsellä olisi ihan totta puhuen ensimmäisenä tullut mieleen :D
Kappaleesta ja sen esittäjästä on eriäviä mielipiteitä, mutta fakta on se, että Jere "Käärijä" Pöyhönen on vihreine boleroineen jo nyt lunastanut paikkansa suomalaisten ikonien joukossa.
@@Herainia Joo, kieltämättä tulee semmonen "ylpee faija" -fiilis, kun on kattonut tän sirkuspellen (kaikella hyvällä) heilumista lavalla viime kuukaudet :D Itelle puolestaan Blind Channel oli taasen uus tuttavuus tuolloin parisen vuotta takaperin. Ja nyt etenkin olisi potentiaalisella viisuvoitolla mahdollisuus lyödä myös arvostelijoille luu kurkkuun, kun tässä nyt ollaan jo hyvä tovi veisattu, ettei suomen kielisellä kappaleella voi voittaa viisuja ja kuinka Cha Cha Cha on mauton kappale jne.
Meillä on oikein mainioita laulajia, lauluntekijöitä, artisteja, muusikkoja... koko maa täynnä, mutta harmillisesti useimmille heistä ainoa avain menestykseen on tuottaa suomen kielellä ja suomalaisille ja oikeastaan jokainen kansainväliset rajat rikkonut suomalainen artisti ja bändi on aina esiintynyt englanniksi (esim. Hanoi Rocks, Hurriganes, HIM, ALMA...). Musiikki kuitenkin sen verran massiivinen ala, että valitettavan moni lahjakkuus tuppaa jäämään katutasolle tämän kokoisessa maassa.
