Its been a week since I started watching them from a random suggestion and always have their songs on repeat. Started from "Have a Nice Day" then "Singularity" and now "Missing Beauty" and never going to stop. They are really good.
I met a girl from Taiwan who was studying abroad at my university (in Hawaii). Her name was Ying. We became friends and I took her all over Hawaii to my favorite places. I slowly began to fall in love. I later learned she also had feelings for me. We didn’t tell each other our feelings while she was in Hawaii. When she had to leave I was so sad. I took her to the airport and we talked for about two hours before she had to go. I’ve never fallen in love with anyone as much as I had with her. A year later she told me she wanted to come back to Hawaii and we spent a week together. It was so fun. I took her all over Hawaii. We saw sea turtles, had a bonfire at the beach, stargazed, ate lots of food, and just enjoyed each other’s company. It was like listening to my favorite song for the first time again. When it was time for her to go back to Taiwan we talked at the airport again. We told each other about our feelings we had a year ago. Damn. Although now she had a boyfriend, and I had a girlfriend. But for that one week we had a taste of what life could’ve been like with each other. A couple months later I told Ying that I wanted to visit her in Taiwan. “REALLY?! When?! So exciting! I can show you around Taiwan!” She’s so cute. The first place she took me to was 九份 (Jiufen) which is where this video was filmed. Thank you so much One World for making this. Memories of hanging out with Ying rushed through my head watching this. I really am “Missing Beauty” now.

I fell in love with World Order and their songs because their videos generally share some very distinctive artistic qualities: the unmistakable Japanese robot guys in business suits, footage including public reactions to their hijinks (which are frankly just charming), and melodies that somehow manage to be instantaneously nostalgic even as I listen to them the first time ever (trust me I was humming this melody as soon as the chorus was done once). Of course, that's not to say these three elements are consistent in all of their videos, but this one has all of those three elements, and it is oh so charming. Keep making me want to get sentimental over nothing, robot men.
And the genius about the public reactions is to show for new viewers that it isn't video editing/effects, it's them. Perforing slowmotion in real time. Just splendidly beautiful.

I think it's cause they're bringing back the feel of how they first started. I kinda fell away from em for their past few videos because it didn't feel like them. but with this one it brings back the same emotions as World Order, Machine Civilization and so on.

日本「西裝大叔」最新MV來台取景 夜市、小綠人都入鏡

〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕日本男子團體「World Order」（世界秩序），以全身黑西裝加上精湛的「機械舞」為招牌，跳遍全世界。日前發布的最新MV，竟就在台灣取景，令網友看完直呼「覺得感動！」
被稱為「西裝大叔」、由5名日本中年男子組成的音樂舞蹈團體「World Order」，9日於官方TH-cam頻道發布新單曲《Missing Beauty》，MV全在台灣拍攝，場景包括台北士林、饒河街夜市、信義街商圈和九份老街等等，斗大的飲料店招牌、台灣小吃及「會動的小綠人」也都入鏡。
畫面中，一群面無表情的西裝大叔，站在饒河街夜市的招牌下大跳機械舞，周圍圍滿逛夜市的人群，紛紛拿出手機拍攝，他們依舊不為所動完成表演。Solo（獨舞）部分也特別移動到捷運站出口、校園旁、廟宇、暗巷內，或是台灣隨處可見的「全身指壓」按摩店外，舞出台灣夜晚獨有的魅力。
網友看完MV後紛紛留言說，「超感動，從以前追到現在，終於有台灣的作品」、「謝謝你們呈現得這麼美」、「真羨慕那些逛夜市的人，可以親眼看到World Order」等，也有不少人期待World Order下次再來拍攝不同景點，「不要侷限在台北！」

須藤元氣非常懂得如何抓住各個地方的人和景物的內在本質，透過舞蹈和音樂、歌詞去傳達一些事。World Order 好幾首歌都是帶有調侃或戲謔成分的，但這首在台灣拍的，是以類似一種摯友的那種誠實、不矯情、很正經地告訴你：你的好在這裡，你的不好也在這裡。其實聽了看了有點鼻酸，但還是很感謝這種誠實。
他們總是藉由舞蹈「在意識上模仿」當地的人，反映出當地的人事物。影片中他們總是在尋找什麼，東看西看、像逛夜市，很熱鬧，大家好像都在找什麼，但沒人知道，沒人找到。
但這首歌這部影片提供了一些線索。我想，仍然傻勁地想相信些什麼的人應該會看到。

原版的MV也看過，但舞蹈不同，完全如樓主點出在意識上的模仿。

I fell in love with World Order and their songs because their videos generally share some very distinctive artistic qualities: the unmistakable Japanese robot guys in business suits, footage including public reactions to their hijinks (which are frankly just charming), and melodies that somehow manage to be instantaneously nostalgic even as I listen to them the first time ever (trust me I was humming this melody as soon as the chorus was done once).
Of course, that's not to say these three elements are consistent in all of their videos, but this one has all of those three elements, and it is oh so charming. Keep making me want to get sentimental over nothing, robot men.
And the genius about the public reactions is to show for new viewers that it isn't video editing/effects, it's them. Perforing slowmotion in real time. Just splendidly beautiful.
