  • SILENT DELINEATION / Scott's Album Breakdowns (Tone, Grooves, Solo's, Technique and More) | EP144
Our next track from The Devine King Project, Vol. 1 is a nod to the cyclic chord pattern of Giant Steps by jazz saxophonist John Coltrane. Luckily, you don't need to know a major third from an augmented ninth to dive into this track and jam it loud. We’ve created a free Ebook with all the TAB and notation!
    In this episode
What makes this Scott’s favorite track on the album.
How he unlocked the perfect bass tone.
Where to find the FREE album eBook.
Scott’s formula to figure out time signatures.
    And much, much more!

Man, sorry to hear about the sick kiddo but “Eating Biscuits and Watching Trolls” would have been a great name for a track on the album

Hey Scott, i love these Breakdowns and your Album so far and i really appreciate your work. But when you go through it in detail here, it is not only annoying to listen to the Track just through your Speakers and through the microphone, it is also really difficult to hear what you are playing on bass there. Even if i use good headphones.
In so many other formats you guys manage to plug a bass you are showing directly to an interface, so we can hear it in good quality and not only through an amp and then through your microphone...
i would really love for you to just take a few minutes and figure out how to give us a DIRECT AUDIO when you listen back to the track and comment. i guess you would need to use headphones, but that should be not problem, right?
I'm looking forward to take the time and listen not only to the track but also your thoughts and comments on it, without bothering with such an audio quality. I just feels like someone is holding a phone into my face when showing music, and i dare to say that this is something no musician enjoys...
take care and all the best!
    Darius

Amazing playing by everyone, especially Scott, but listening to these recordings remind me why Fusion died as a genre.
