Thanks guys for another amazing track ! Scott, as well as slap, some really growling bass lines ! Great guitar, sax & keyboard solos ! Talking of solos Scott, I'm not sure if I commented on your very cool sultry bass solo (played on another track) apologies if so.

Great song! Reminds me of ‘80’s Zappa, especially the part after that stunning (first) sax solo! Scott as an ever cool Arthur Barrow! And those keys there! Wicked!

I do like the sound of the synth solo. Nice enough to be heard and enjoyed, but not as bright or harsh as less talented keys players would habe chosen to get noticed over the overall sound of the band.

    Love the album!!
And love to be able to see the players perform on the videos, so we get how great (and relaxed while performing! 😄) they are!
Stupid personal detail (🤣): ever since I saw the first video, the guitar strap the guitarplayer uses caught my eye. It’s in the colours of my little country. What is it? Can we get it (in Europe’s mainland)? Stupid, I know, 🤣. I should be working my ass off on trying to play (some of) the music instead...

No, Scott, your slap tone was just great with those little extra midsy tone thingies. Miller should take that from you, because it cuts and fits better in the other player’s frequencies.
If it was not cool, it would’ve been obvious during mixing, not? It wasn’t. No issue than. 😉
These thoughts you have now about your tone in this song? Leave them be. The tone killed big time. It cuts just enough, because of those mids. Don’t go bananas about it. 🤣 Don’t look back too much.
Just ask Ian or your other collegues: they’ll have a clearer view.
Enjoy this great song! We are!! 😉
    🙏
