This was by far the best DLC stand alone in any game ever made.

Blood dragon really was a rare gem of a game in most every way. And for 15 bucks it was a steal.
The whole soundtrack is great but this is my favorite by far

Rex is actually voiced by Michael Biehn who was Kyle Reese in the original Terminator movie. Game is basically a throwback to 80s action movies. :-)

+Sebastian Knott this game is my childhood rolled into one fuckin action packed hilarity. the music and everything. it's all amazing but it's a big shame they aren't making a sequel or making a feature version because i believe they could have done sooooo much more with this considering it has a huge fan base for the exact same reasons that i really loved it, honestly every moment playing this game gave me memories of nostalgia that no other game has succeeded to deliver.

I remember getting this free from Ubisoft during Christmas a few years ago and had only played the main series. I figured nothing of it because hey, it was free but I was in for a real shock. Less than 1 hour in and it became my favourite FarCry game in the series to this day.
Give us a proper sequel, Ubisoft.

This is an awesome track. Very calm and relaxing at first, but with a hint of suppressed rage and intensity that becomes more powerful as the song goes on.

nah i lived 80s and 90s, there was really good stuff like terminator, music, and cartoons but they come once in a while, the other movies where crap, we where slaves of what TV showed us, long waits lots of dead time... now we have tons to choose, sadly there is now PC and SJW Shit but still have shows like GoT (writen in the 80s)

😎 Growing up in the mid and late 90's during the Anime Boom, I always thought that this was what typical Anime or Japanese Superhero soundtrack was meant to sound like. Pokemon, Transformers, Dragon Ball, Gundum, Zoids, Megaman, Astro Boy, Ghost in the Shell, and if I could also include Godzilla, Ultra Man, and Power Rangers, when I was a Told they all sounded alot like this! Sadly as the market died down and I discovered stuff like Hsu Miku, that wasn't the case all the time. 😢
But at least we have Fan Made trailers and AMVs depicting these new shows Intros and Action Scenes with music like this! 😏 Anyways, I was riding my Bike home from work the other day at 10:00 PM Night Time through Bright Streets but also Dark River Parks and my Bike Flashlights exept for my Neon Wheel one were getting Low. So unless I wanted to use them on Lowbeam or Blink, the only other light was the Half Moon. But as I was riding with most of my Lights Blinking and my Neon Glowing on my Wheel, along with watching the Moonlight Glimmering on the River I was next to, I almost felt like just then that I was in the Setting of an Anime which was quite Immersive and Interesting! 😃
So don't mind me but I'm gonna Later on I'm gonna read Crossover Fanfics and I Pray they're gonna be Awesome. Also cause I have no Regrets, I'm probably gonna read a Ash X Charizard Passionate Romantic as well. 😘 This song would good great with both in my opinion and I just Can't wait!

here's how it probably went down:
1. A new/unimportant team at Ubisoft wants to make a game, what we would call "blood dragon"
2. Ubisoft considers this, realizing the market may not like a short, sweet game, so they plan to sell it as DLC for farcry3, even letting the team use the cryotic engine.
3. They sell it as DLC for farcry 3 to attract the huge population of farcry 3 buyers.
4. The team gets congratulated for the success of blood dragon, and their reward was getting consumed by ubisoft's larger teams so they can work on the (shit) triple-A titles, and causing any hope for a blood dragon sequal to be down the drain.

M This game is a perfect example of a 'waste of potential'. Ubisoft thinks that they need to keep making the same stuff over and over or people wont buy it, well I'd rather buy and play a 1/4th of a game (blood dragon) then buy far cry 3 which is more or less the same as the other ones. Why are they afraid to change? Because its a thing weak people fear.
