GPS is not offered in the LX model. If you got up one model, to the EX, you can plug your phone into the USB and pull the navigation from your phone onto the touch screen. To do so it uses one of two features depending on your phone - Apple Carplay for iPhone users and Andriod Auto for Andriod users.

The LX speaker system is not that impressive. It is a 4 speaker system with a generic brand speaker. I would probably replace those speakers if you are looking for more/better sound.

The LX does have Bluetooth capability for both phone calls and streaming music. Important to ask when car shopping. Some vehicles will only allow phone accessibility.

the LX model comes with the volume knob, the remaining models of the Civic all come with the audio touch screen. you do have steering wheel controls to help out though, if the touch screen is tough to use.

It's a lot of technology gains, such as keyless entry, remote start, push button start, touch screen with Apple carplay and Android auto, Monroof, and alloy wheels. I think the EX is the best bang for your buck. I am more of a tech guy though, I think Android Auto and Apple Carplay are fantastic features.
Wife has this model Civic, the fm radio reception has lately gone bonkers, it has not Shark Fin or Rod antenna on the Car, where is the antenna located on this vehicle? Seems when she had the front window glass replaced, the reception has been bad, but there dosn't seem to be anything for reception in the front window. Help is appreciated.
I would encourage you to go drive both and see what you think. You might find better resale value on the Civic though, They sell a lot of Corollas to rental agencies, so when they are done with them they end up dumping tons of them into the market, lowering their value. Just something to consider...
I like the Canadian verson. It carries a lot of the EX US items over into the LX. I like that it has the touch screen with Apple CarPlay and the digital display. Those are some nice additions. I think we would sell so many more LX models if those were options for us. You have got a great rendition of the Civic!
Yes all models have back up cameras. But if you live in an area that snows, you will have wipe the camera almost every day. Because if the design of the hatch, it gets dirty or covered in snow a lot.

Honda are pieces of crap cars. I have one just like this on and I honestly believe that It is way over priced. This piece of crap didn't have CarPlay. In today's tech world, that is a slap in the face. I expected more from the car because of the price, but once I got home I realized that Honda's basic be way bellow the basic standards of other manufactures. First and last Crapda I buy.
It is a base model from 2017.. I am going to bet no base model from 2017 came with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It would have most likely been an upgrade. And if the only issue was the head unit you could replace it with a new head unit that offers those features you want. Or I suppose you could trade the whole car in based off this. However it will probably cost you way more to do so. Best of luck with your next car purchase though...

No, The Civic Lx is a base model which doesn't offer the GPS navigation.

Just got 2017 civic lx and from another video the guy says its just the stock speakers are really cheap

Naveed Sanatgar No. The lx is just a basic LCD screen. Ex and higher trims are fully touchscreen.

If you are looking at the back windshield the top portion of the lines is the antenna. The bottom portion is the glass defrosters.

This is the US version. Canada actually has a way better head unit version with apple and android play

The LX does not offer a navigation option. If you went to the Sport model (one step above it) you will have access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
