ok what do I do when the Raw pics won't show and when I hit preview its saying does not support this file the pics only show when I put the SD card in my camera

Ang congrats to Apple Preview : the Jpeg versions of my Raws (shot with an old Nikon D600) are much better when I produce them with Preview than the native ones which come out of the camera, or the ones which I can produce with ViewNx-i which is the Nikon app...

was there any difference in the end result, like image quality?
no matter what software you use , raw is always better since a jpg is a compressed file
