Thank you @SootyWebster. We're trying to find the right balance between too much information and not enough. Good to know we're zeroing in on the sweet spot.
Tactical network gives you a dash and then one of the options. Hunker, condition renoval or an attack. Also remember concentrate fire gives +1 dice. In many many situations 😊
For future reference, during Ahsoka's turn at 4:27 , you used a "Take cover" action to use an ingress point. Ingress points can only be used after ending one of the movement types (advance, dash, climb or jump) and a take cover only allows the character to "push" itself. Not a big issue, love seeing these videos!
Thank you for the feedback! You have seen all the games we have played so far on-screen, so we were filming and learning at the same time. For Episode 4 and beyond, we have had more off-camera games in between film sessions so you should see better game play. Thank you for watching. We're glad to be able to provide some Friday morning entertainment. - Ken
Awesome stuff that you guys have the connections with Shatterpoint to get the kit and bring us this gameplay in a timely way. I have a lot of respect for the work you guys put in, John and Ken! Part of learning the game is hiccups the first few plays but you're giving a great sense of how Shatterpoint works :)
Thanks, Kellston! We've been fortunate to be able to work with Atomic Mass Games since we streamed Armada Worlds at AdeptiCon. We also have a great local game store in Games Plus. Our latest game we feel as though we are remembering more, and our film time has gone down somewhat. Hoping to reduce some of the oversights moving forward. - Ken
Great stuff folks, love the continued Shatterpoint coverage. A question: @17:42 when Kalani's "Roger, Roger" was triggered, didn't the B1 Battle Droids still have the Pinned condition? Also, @18:14 the order actions are written in is the order they must be taken so the B1's Dash must come before the removal of the condition so the strained would've triggered, the damage wouldn't have mattered as they were already wounded. Just spotted another one. @28:14 the 2nd Magnaguard makes an Advance, however as it was Engaged it could only have been a Dash.
ExUmbris, you are correct. The B1s did still have the pinned condition, and that would have resulted in a minor change in game state. Regarding the advance, the 212th Clone Troopers were wounded, so that was allowed.
Thank you for watching, we appreciate the support. We are using a standard 3' x 3' battle mat. Specifically, we are using "Desolute Dunes" from Skirmish Mats. If you are interested, use the code IONRADIONET for a 10% discount on a purchase from them!
Good tip as it is easily overlooked. We talked about this off-camera. At the time, John did not think it necessary to jump with Obi-Wan. Thank you for watching.
After watching a few games, I love the models and some of the mechanics. However, I'm sorry to say I just can't get into this as an area control game. Compared to other star wars IP, it just feels meh. I really want to like it, and there is admittedly some angst from AMG ignoring other games, but I'd rather buy more Armada ships (even though it appears to be left behind) and play area control games I already own than invest in shatterpoint. I do greatly appreciate your taking the time to do these videos.
Thank you for watching our episodes. Part of what we do is showcase the different games and help people make decisions on what they may or may not be interested in pursuing.
Great video guys ! So easy to follow 😁 I could actually see the hit tree and understood what was going on ! Thank you !
Glad you enjoyed it and found our presentation helpful, Jack! We have another episode coming up this Friday.
Great production quality on the vid! Makes it so clear what is going on. Well done.

Just a slight error at 2:11, both of the primary cards have the opposite force points text underneath the cards
Good catch! Fortunately, we played correctly.

If you had done Advance first you could probably reach it, then jump, then take cover for the same basic end result so no harm done

Another great battle. What size battle mat are you using? I would really like to buy one of these.

@IONRadio thanks for the info. Unfortunately they are sold out at the moment l, but when they have them back in stock I'll definitely use your code.
@@jamesl79 I just checked, looks like they are back in stock.
A quick note, when obi wan uses patience, he gets a free jump! (And 3 heals which would be irrelevant during turn 1)
