The thing with baja i think is that the screws are exposed. Somebody can easily unscrew it and mess with them

Hey dude! Installed this today. There’s supposed to be a bit of a wiggle when you touch these fogs right? There’s a slight wiggle when I try to move it in the housing
When you remove the front wheel shirt to get at the fog lights, other than the screws there is a pin of some sort. Question...how do you remove this pin? Thanks

When u put the fogs on and u hit little bumps does ur lighting bounce around? Mine seems to be not stationary even though i tighted the bolts..

They’ll be the same as stock fogs just brighter there not really adjustable just when you install make sure you align correctly and you’ll be good :)

How are those SAE Compliant!? Those are bright as hell! I just installed the baja squadron SAE's and they are not quite that bright

Jesse, since the Pros draw more current (twice as much as the sport), did you need to change the stock fuse?
Nope these are made for just a plug in play that’s probably a question for diode themselves but as far as I know there safe and a plug and play
I know this is pretty old but they only draw 2.7 amps per pod so you're under 6 amp for both which is well within the stock fuse and wire diameter.

Hey Jesse, are your fog lights a bit loose when screwed in place? Mine wiggle a bit but the screw seems tight.
If u shake it hard yes but for the most part it’s not crazy loose
If I order the SS3 for the tacoma set with the brackets that fit on the oem front bumper, can I buy just the brackets to put them on the fogs so I can run them with a aftermarket bumper?
I think it just depends which bumper but I know these also come with universal brackets so u can probably use those
I’m in the market for new fogs that plug into my CaliRaised dual leg DT plug harness so you prefer these over the morimoto 4bangers?
I’ve always like diode just make sure you get either pro or max version do not get sport you will be disappointed as far as the Morimoto I don’t want to lie to you I havnt seen them in person so I can’t comment on those

Jesse, I purchased the amber diode dynamics fog lights. My question for you is? Do I need to buy some fog light bezel covers like that for my fog lights, for them to fit flush with the fog lights? I’m installing fog lights on my SR Tacoma that didn’t have fog lights when I purchased it.
These would be for the ones that have fog lights if yours doesn’t your going to have to yes buy the fog light bezel and then your going to have to buy a pod light harness it’ll be like wiring up your ditch lights but now into your fog lights if that makes sense but it’s possible
Yes you need the bezels. Try your Toyota dealership or online. If it’s not pre wired then you need to wire them hope that helps
I had the same situation. Did you figure out the bolt size that screw on from the brackets to the vehicles?
I just installed the ss3 pros. Pretty easy to install or adjust just by reaching down through the engine bay. Not convinced mine are as bright as yours though...

@@scooterboy9302 Yeah, must just be his camera. You'll learn to like them. They look pretty cool on dark back roads and have a good cut off so noone ever flashes me. Any brighter would be obnoxious, but I kinda wanted that lol

It’s not needed but most of there pods with the backlight feature is just a more dimmer light usually if u get those for chase lights or side rack lights with that feature it’s cool for your camp site

I believe I went with pro cuz they didn’t have the max version aT the time only got ditch lights but I’d go with max those are bright I had that for ditch lights in max and it was great

@@JesseRizo Thanks for the reply. I talked to Diode Dynamics today and they said they have a new reflector housing in the works for the Pro model that will tighten the beam even more and aim it more downward to keep it from bleeding into the headlight low beam territory.
I wish they had amber color (not yellow) But maybe ambers for fogs are illegal?

The pros I wouldn’t suggest getting the regular ones there not that bright but I have the pros
Just installed mine and even though it was seated properly they aren’t totally flush for some reason.
I would try messing with the bracket maybe when you tightened it it slightly moved

The BDs are great aux lights, but they aren't SAE compliant so they're terrible as fog lights because they have a ton of uplight. You'll notice the DD fog has a crisp cutoff so you won't blind oncoming traffic and they function as better bad weather lighting for the same reason.
