VISIT IWATE ～Unique Experiences from Iwate～

March 11th 2023 marks the 12th year since the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami hit our prefecture. Our reconstruction has been steadily progressing thanks to the efforts of everyone involved.
We, the people of Iwate Prefecture, will never forget the immense support we have received from all over the world during our reconstruction.
Our theme this year is VISIT IWATE ~Unique Experiences from Iwate~, in the hope that people from around the world will come and visit Iwate, while at the same time, sharing the lessons and realities of the earthquake and tsunami disaster to future generations.
