Last time I played everyone was saying that Combat Readiness was the only way to play Gunlancer and if you played Lone Knight you were greifing So i load up Lost Ark and start playing my Combat Readiness Gunlancer again and then I see this video and get depression. I feel like finding people that actually know what they are talking about in this game is too hard, so much false information constantly thrown at you
1.0 cycle punisher (the only build that matters because 1.5 is dogshit) should probably be a tier above despite it's shit playstyle. REBlade should be dropped a tier for the same reason EO and RS are (difficult to perform at the ceiling).
@@300y1 i was using RS for alt, but still that thing was so easy to master, you will feel it's so hard to play at first but after you know how much does the skill animation takes to land and what combo you can use in certain situation it feels just like predator slayer, you can just cancel your hype then wait 11s for it to be ready again. i really feel RS was non entropy predator slayer with less destruction and stagger, and more burst potential than predator with spirit bomb landed.
may you explain more about the two engravings of souleater? is dark moon better than full moon only when you considered about hell content or it just simply better in every raid?
Main issue is he's never seen a good one. It gets worse the more you overgear content due to being a high uptime build, but it should still average around B-tier.

Empress has been worse then Emperor for a while now. For the effort of Empress I would really not recommend it to anyone unless you just like sweating for no reason.

I agree with everything I said about shock scrapper, she is a good class, but to perform well, she needs a crit and a atack speed synergy, I think If they just make all shock skills 20% faster its already enough to make her feels good to play, this make her Z fill up faster just put super armor on Z and change some tripods of supernova and deathrattle, like they removed the single target effect now does not need a single target, and the 3 tripod finishing blow now do 50% damage so we have a tripod that deals 60% more dmg and one deals 50% more damage what is t he fucking poit off having these tripod just put 50% more damage and 20% more damanage when you are on fighting spirit mode! this is for death ratlle btw, for supernova just change the piercing strike no more 40% defense ignore, just add the fighting spirit enhancement 60% +20% more damange on fighting spirit mode, this is enough to make shock scrapper S tier, f course crit on Z would be nice but they wont put this

Lol it's crazy how the devs made so many absolutely braindead swiftness classes so strong (FI, Hunger, Pred, Tai, Dark moon). It used to be that spec classes were HIGH risk HIGH reward and you really needed to know boss patterns and timings because any major mistake or miscalculation meant that you'd do zero damage. Just look at classes like master summoner who has low mobility, super hard ani locks, backloaded damage on Akir that you have to cast 4-6 times per minute to be competitive, and half of the skills don't even have paralysis immunity. For what? For slightly above average damage even if you are good at the class, which is very difficult to master. I have FI WD too and I can literally watch Netflix when I play this class, and now you tell me that I can put up crazy numbers while being semi conscious and smashing my buttons with disabled identity meter? That makes so much sense (lol no it does not). So, now it seems like we are going in the direction where you can just play high mobility, riskless, and easy classes to be able to out-damage 90% of the classes in the game, even those that are much harder to play. The devs are indeed clueless and class balance, besides some nice changes like the ones for BE artillerist, is probably the worst we have had in 2 years think. No wonder so many people are malding right now and asking for class change tickets because currently it makes zero sense to play certain classes, like there is nothing redeeming about them compared to those at the top or near the top. Nothing but disappointment. The only good thing about the most recent patch is that swiftness accessories will start selling again lmao.
every class is mechanically easy and it get easier when you are a expert at the raid. what risk? when there is something called your "spacebar" and "get up action". you waste or spacebar /get up like a bozo then you get punished. its not high risk its just ur a rip bozo. if you know a boss has a one hit mechanic like brels yellow attack a competent player wont waste their spacebar to chase the boss. the risk comes in if you are a bozo playing a slow class with long spacebar CD that waste spacebar for nothing and wont have it up to actually save you.

If stress free classes with barely any cooldowns and a ton of mobility and a much lower cost of a mistake are able to output similar or higher numbers as classes that have none of the things I just mentioned above, what's a reason to play the other classes? Sure you can master a class to a point where everything becomes a muscle memory so they become "mechanically easy" as you phrased it but it still does not change my point, which is that there must be some incentive to play more difficult/involved classes compared to comfy and risk-free classes. If you think every class is on even playground just because everyone has a spacebar and they should just "git gud" then you are just an ignorant person. Please rewatch what Legalia says about MS again and try to rethink your stance again - there are classes in this game that are far too easy to have the damage they have. I downloaded this game, looked at this tier list and created an SE, used powerpass and enter in deskaluda. I dealt 50% of the total damage. It was my first time playing this game. I just hit the skills randomly and was mvp. BALANCED
I personally play an overgeared (100q 25 akkan weapon, 1635) 9/7 stone punsiher slayer with a pocket bard and the damage is on another dimension. We have a static of 8 (5 of them full lvl 10 and 2 of them with some lvl 9 gems) and even with that, the punisher damage goes to another cosmical level. Theres also a predator slayer with akkan weapon 25 (98q and 1625) in the other party with a bard and can only surpass my punisher when i have a really bad try and miss a lot of abilities due to boss movement and also the awakening. Otherwise not.
i can only speak for EUC, non juicer pugging ... both punisher and mayhem are criminally underrated in those tierlist when it comes to my experience. i do play a totally different game than streamers anyway though, so thats fine
@@krasitto8757 not necessary overgear but, red gunlancer is not a "burst" class. It just does the same damage in a shorter amount of time but has longer cooldowns, which makes it strictly better since fights tend to give you "good pattern --> bad pattern as an example.
@@Legaliaaa I don't think you are up to date with the damage Hallu+KBW Blue GL can do compared to Red. It's also a quick frontloaded burst build, and only does like 5 to 10% less damage than Red ON TRIXION, which means it will almost never do less than red on an actual raid. The only real bad downside is that you can't really afford to go Nella.
I genuinely do not understand why people get mad at tier lists. This is Lost Ark, a fucking korean MMO where the lowest dps to the highest dps have a variation between 10-30% difference which is huge. Of course classes are going to be better than others.
i think its because when creators call out classes people enjoy to play this can push raid leaders into gatekeeping certain specs even though anything can clear all content in the game. The game is not that difficult in non hell scenario.
I do feel like GL synergy isn't what it used to be with other classes getting strong double syns. Red is also pretty hard to play in newer raids due to bosses being a lot more mobile and turning/dashing a lot.
definitely not that great during prog but still considered bis synergy for entropy party setup, especially with how strong the S tier entropys are I think it still had value
Yeah, still good value in entropy groups. Honestly, their damage just got buffed by like another 10% recently too, so they're starting to approach okay DPS if the GL has hands and uses CGL instead of fire bullet. Surprisingly, blue damage is actually pretty comparable to red now on a lot of raids if they go spec/crit Hallucination + KBW build with DMG on crit elixir, but it involves dropping nella's or DUF for shield shock as extra damage + easy adrenaline upkeep. Red doesn't have to sacrifice any utility to do the same damage, so it's still better. If they added counter to shield shock or shield bash, then maybe blue would be more competitive. Hallu build parses about the same as Nightmare in Trixion, but bible shows actual raid damage is noticeably higher 'cause the damage is front loaded with big crits + supp buffs, instead of being back loaded with boundless. Also benefits a lot more from atro with KBW and not needing stabilized status. @@Legaliaaa
same with areo a dps class meant to be taken for there sinergys has worse team singerys as any of the current top classes soulfist got better dmg reduction(and a cleanse or even better dmg reduction) and deahtblade better atacks speed with better uptime.. what a joke@@KyokujiFGC
@@KyokujiFGC Good points, that's why I prefer Blue for many buses like 4 man Akkan, 2 man Brel etc. Basicaly long raids where DPS > Burst And of course we drop Nella, very usefull on prog or hell content but once mates get use to raids it is a waste
a note about why legacy feels stronger than demonic, since you seemed like you were not sure why... The overall uptime is just better on legacy because you can transform in 2 skills, and even if you miss a skill, you can still do it in 3 of your other skills. Demonic, you're still at a 4 skill transform. If you miss even one of them, you're delayed by so much compared to legacy. They 'compensate' for it by demonic being able to stay transformed longer, but it's way more punishing if you screw up your skills for transforming when you're out of transform. Legacy is very forgiving even when you whiff a skill outside of transform. Legacy is still a bit clunky though. I think if they increased the damage of your R skill by 20% and removed the front attack modifier for it, it would be way stronger. But as it stands currently, if you don't land your R on the front, you lose 20% damage on your strongest skill... And i don't think the shields make that much of a difference, you still have to dodge patterns, losing your shields means you'll be knocked out of transform, and you don't get 40% of your meter back, delaying your next transform. Demonic doesn't have this issue, they can transform, gain massive health pools, and heal themselves when they do.
I don't think legacy is clunky. But it has gotten stale. I think it's time for a rework on tranformation classes. Probably add a new transformation skill that requires its own gem. Legacy is strong because it can literally dodge and reposition all while doing their rotation so they never stop dpsing. Shadowhunter on the other hand can't do that.
i don't get why people complain for the removal of the execution dmg on gunslinger, i always hated it. it is more a passive suit for assassins in moba games than lost ark. why i need to wait half the fight to deal more damage? the concept is so trash it only make harder to get mvp if the raid end 2 fast. so i'm ok with that move. but they just need to buff this class somewhere in the kit. why we get only micro changes or Qol ? meanwhile other class or new class get powercreep by like 10%+ + every balance patch? wtf.. they like so stingy when they try to buff this class

Just pray to not get giga nerfed and get some buff consistently. You can do nothing when one patch put reaper from the pit to the moon or a raid design (+other classes get relatively more buffs) that put Summoner from S to B. Just enjoy while it lasts and hope that you can survive the darkest time on your favorite class.

just started playing lost ark literally today, anyone got any reccomendations ? i would say i will be f2p for the time being (we never know) i prolly prefer more pve content whats a good dps class and support class, or debuffer if that exists
this game isn't about pvp, no one plays it all supports have pros or cons you should pick what you prefer but the easiest to play would be paladin as for easy dps, you'll be spending a lot of time on your class so it's best to play what you want
Feelsbadman. I like the concept of transformation classes, but they really lack variation in gameplay. I wish they were remade to be built/played similar to other burst dps classes. I mean, I appreciate that they are cheap to build and recognize that they should come with some kind of drawback. But why could we not just make them harder and more interesting to play? At this point I have no idea how they would even need to be reworked, and it would probably not make sense to begin with. It just sucks that transformation builds are relegated to be easy-to-play options for new players. Cool video btw.
complete elistjerk complaing that people pressing bottons are bad because they can do it. meanwhile most class are good now, and people can play more class that before and dont be complete useless to raid... balances seems fine to me.
The balance is dogshit. It power crept over half of the classes, and stupidly buffed already strong classes to the point that 2/3 of the other classes cannot catch up with it. I am talking about Surge DB. 2/3 of the classes deal the same damage now as a Surge DB that is 20 levels below them. Or a non-Elixir Surge DB. They combined the 2 playstyles in this game into a single class, consistent with burst DPS.
Summoner is just terrible. I wasted one of my power passes on it. I wish the power pass operated by slot so you can reroll if you made a mistake. Yes, once you have played for a number of months it isn't a problem getting them. Can Korean developers not create a proper pet class? Diablo does it with Necro's minions. Make the pets permanent at least. It's just an awful design. It's the worst class design by far.
The design is made even worse, because CO Summoner's highest damage dealing skills are not the pets... but Ancient Spears and Earth Collapse, which are not even buffed by the class engraving. Why play this engraving, when the buffs it gives to the pets are nowhere near enough to compete with the 2 highest damage skills? Maririn, Pauru, Elcid, Shurdi and Kelsion taken together do less damage than Ancient Spears/Earth Collapse in raids. There is no other class in the game who's class engraving doesn't give an edge to your particular playstyle.
making a tierlist based on mobility and survivability for latest content seems innacurate and honestly just skill issue, i do akkan without support (bus) and i dont even use all pots, not B tier for sure.

dps difference in a raid, red gets its damage off in quick bursts which is always the favored kind of dps when it comes to any gate with phases/DR

@@krasitto8757 not necessary overgear but, red gunlancer is not a "burst" class. It just does the same damage in a shorter amount of time but has longer cooldowns, which makes it strictly better since fights tend to give you "good pattern --> bad pattern as an example.
@@Legaliaaa I don't think you are up to date with the damage Hallu+KBW Blue GL can do compared to Red. It's also a quick frontloaded burst build, and only does like 5 to 10% less damage than Red ON TRIXION, which means it will almost never do less than red on an actual raid.
The only real bad downside is that you can't really afford to go Nella.
I've heard of the build and if you need to take off Nella then there's kinda no point taking gunlancer@@kvk9002
I genuinely do not understand why people get mad at tier lists. This is Lost Ark, a fucking korean MMO where the lowest dps to the highest dps have a variation between 10-30% difference which is huge. Of course classes are going to be better than others.
i think its because when creators call out classes people enjoy to play this can push raid leaders into gatekeeping certain specs even though anything can clear all content in the game. The game is not that difficult in non hell scenario.
I do feel like GL synergy isn't what it used to be with other classes getting strong double syns. Red is also pretty hard to play in newer raids due to bosses being a lot more mobile and turning/dashing a lot.
definitely not that great during prog but still considered bis synergy for entropy party setup, especially with how strong the S tier entropys are I think it still had value
Yeah, still good value in entropy groups. Honestly, their damage just got buffed by like another 10% recently too, so they're starting to approach okay DPS if the GL has hands and uses CGL instead of fire bullet.
Surprisingly, blue damage is actually pretty comparable to red now on a lot of raids if they go spec/crit Hallucination + KBW build with DMG on crit elixir, but it involves dropping nella's or DUF for shield shock as extra damage + easy adrenaline upkeep. Red doesn't have to sacrifice any utility to do the same damage, so it's still better. If they added counter to shield shock or shield bash, then maybe blue would be more competitive.
Hallu build parses about the same as Nightmare in Trixion, but bible shows actual raid damage is noticeably higher 'cause the damage is front loaded with big crits + supp buffs, instead of being back loaded with boundless. Also benefits a lot more from atro with KBW and not needing stabilized status.

And of course we drop Nella, very usefull on prog or hell content but once mates get use to raids it is a waste

Esoteric will be much stronger until you get the reworked deathblow anyways, its terrible in its current state on live servers for NA/EU

Firepower is the class that has consistently been rated low and it continues to MVP. Love it, keep the the FUD strong for FPE.

a note about why legacy feels stronger than demonic, since you seemed like you were not sure why...
The overall uptime is just better on legacy because you can transform in 2 skills, and even if you miss a skill, you can still do it in 3 of your other skills. Demonic, you're still at a 4 skill transform. If you miss even one of them, you're delayed by so much compared to legacy. They 'compensate' for it by demonic being able to stay transformed longer, but it's way more punishing if you screw up your skills for transforming when you're out of transform. Legacy is very forgiving even when you whiff a skill outside of transform.
Legacy is still a bit clunky though. I think if they increased the damage of your R skill by 20% and removed the front attack modifier for it, it would be way stronger. But as it stands currently, if you don't land your R on the front, you lose 20% damage on your strongest skill...
And i don't think the shields make that much of a difference, you still have to dodge patterns, losing your shields means you'll be knocked out of transform, and you don't get 40% of your meter back, delaying your next transform. Demonic doesn't have this issue, they can transform, gain massive health pools, and heal themselves when they do.
I don't think legacy is clunky. But it has gotten stale. I think it's time for a rework on tranformation classes. Probably add a new transformation skill that requires its own gem.
Legacy is strong because it can literally dodge and reposition all while doing their rotation so they never stop dpsing. Shadowhunter on the other hand can't do that.

yea last month I was trolling in hell kakul using my nightmare deadeye out damage gunslinger. And then he instantly give up his gs lol.
i don't get why people complain for the removal of the execution dmg on gunslinger, i always hated it. it is more a passive suit for assassins in moba games than lost ark.
why i need to wait half the fight to deal more damage? the concept is so trash it only make harder to get mvp if the raid end 2 fast. so i'm ok with that move.
but they just need to buff this class somewhere in the kit.

Just pray to not get giga nerfed and get some buff consistently. You can do nothing when one patch put reaper from the pit to the moon or a raid design (+other classes get relatively more buffs) that put Summoner from S to B.
Just enjoy while it lasts and hope that you can survive the darkest time on your favorite class.

all supports have pros or cons you should pick what you prefer but the easiest to play would be paladin
as for easy dps, you'll be spending a lot of time on your class so it's best to play what you want

Feelsbadman. I like the concept of transformation classes, but they really lack variation in gameplay. I wish they were remade to be built/played similar to other burst dps classes.
I mean, I appreciate that they are cheap to build and recognize that they should come with some kind of drawback. But why could we not just make them harder and more interesting to play?
At this point I have no idea how they would even need to be reworked, and it would probably not make sense to begin with. It just sucks that transformation builds are relegated to be easy-to-play options for new players.

The balance is dogshit. It power crept over half of the classes, and stupidly buffed already strong classes to the point that 2/3 of the other classes cannot catch up with it. I am talking about Surge DB. 2/3 of the classes deal the same damage now as a Surge DB that is 20 levels below them. Or a non-Elixir Surge DB. They combined the 2 playstyles in this game into a single class, consistent with burst DPS.

Summoner is just terrible. I wasted one of my power passes on it. I wish the power pass operated by slot so you can reroll if you made a mistake. Yes, once you have played for a number of months it isn't a problem getting them.
Can Korean developers not create a proper pet class? Diablo does it with Necro's minions. Make the pets permanent at least. It's just an awful design. It's the worst class design by far.
The design is made even worse, because CO Summoner's highest damage dealing skills are not the pets... but Ancient Spears and Earth Collapse, which are not even buffed by the class engraving. Why play this engraving, when the buffs it gives to the pets are nowhere near enough to compete with the 2 highest damage skills? Maririn, Pauru, Elcid, Shurdi and Kelsion taken together do less damage than Ancient Spears/Earth Collapse in raids. There is no other class in the game who's class engraving doesn't give an edge to your particular playstyle.
