Our technician said 35 minutes is actually not wash cycle. It's just pre rinse. But if vessels are totally unsoiled then u can put soap nd run a 35 minutes. It's not fr cooking vessels or soiled ones. I have just got my dishwasher 2 days ago yet to use. Your videos are very helpful.
Yes exactly. It is very you do not waste your detergent for the 35 minutes cycle. It anyway reduces the time and effectively does the job only for 20-22 minutes. You can use it for rinsing cookware which was not used for a long period. Thanks.
Love your videos that you make so meticulously. Very genuine. Thank you. Planning to get this for my father who lives by himself. My mom used to use this in Bosch brand table top when they lived outside India. If Bosch starts hopefully in India I would be thrilled
Hi Sharat Jyotsna, long time.... Thank you. Yes it's ideal for 1 or 2 persons. I don't think Bosch makes small dishwashers. Yes would have loved to have a small one in Bosch.
Hi Mam, I have 2 querys in Voltas Dishwasher 8 place, so can you please ans it. 1. Without finish salt used, what will happen?? 2. Aluminum item getting fully black after wash(any mode), it's look like colour paid out.
Hi Umesh, you have not mentioned how hard your water is and if you have not filled salt at all in your machine. Aluminium does get black when washed in the dishwasher, more so if the water is hard. Using salt helps in softening water. Hence either Finish or any other reputed brand salt is to be filled in the dishwasher and the proper setting of salt, based on hardness has to be done. Hope this clarifies your doubt.
Madam i was planning to get this dishwasher may i please know the water plumbing process? Do i need to arrange it before getting a dishwasher or will the installation person do it ? Like no idea how does this work.
Hi, Please decide on where you are planning to place it. After that provide a water supply point and also a drainage point. I have shown this in my very first video of this dishwasher. You can watch that by clicking below - th-cam.com/video/TkwkiUb23mw/w-d-xo.html - Voltas Beko DT8S First impression I have also posted many videos on this dishwasher. Sharing the link of the entire playlist below - th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYr5zV7rtAy0sU2iPze_7o97.html - Voltas Beko dishwasher playlist Regarding what is required for a dishwasher, I have posted a checklist video. Please watch the same below. Although this video is mainly for full size dishwasher, it can be used as a guidline to slightly alter the requirements to suit the size of the tabletop dishwasher. If you are keeping the small dishwasher next to the kitchen sink, you can route the drain pipe into the sink like I have done. th-cam.com/video/fthMXjvSD_0/w-d-xo.html - Checklist before buying a dishwasher. Thanks.
I am using Voltas Beku since a year. Do not have any complaints so far. I actually do not allow vessels for drying and for few vessels in which i cook rice and boil milk and kadai i scrub them and place them in the machine. I always run a normal cycle.
Please dho not buy ifb detergent on Amazon but from an ifb point shop. They sell fake products on Amazon. That's what ifb customer service told me and that's my experience too!
Voltas beko dishwasher is really worth to purchase Bcz i want to purchase voltas beko dishwasher Which dishwasher is perfect voltas beko 15 place or ifb 15 place dishwasher
IFB has lot of good models and people are happy with it. But there are lots of complaints online about their poor service. So please check on that before deciding. Voltas Beko is now fairly well established in India. Beko is very popular in Europe. VB 15 place dishwasher does not seem to have been bought by many people. So you can go for 14 place setting dishwasher. If you are going for VB, then go for the model with display. Avoid going for the model which has a dial and no display. Thanks.
I added in extensive cycle with 70 degrees. Added 25mg of detergent. Also Salt and rinsing agent. And didn't overcrowd. But stains are remaining on kadai and cooker. This is on Voltas 14 place setting dishwasher. Any suggestions madam ?
Hi Sunil, you have not mentioned which detergent you are using and how is your water hardness. Cleaning does not depend on correct program selection and water quality alone, but also on the correct quantity and quality of detergent, right setting of salt and rinse aid levels, based on water hardness and very importantly on correct placement of soiled dishes. I am sure you must be taking care of all the above factors. Try placing the heavily soiled utensils like kadais and cookers, in the periphery of the lower rack, where more water will be sprayed. Try washing these heavily soiled dishes in Eco cycle as well. Thanks.
Mam six month before i bought new midea dishwasher. First month it works well. After that we went to my sister's house. Long days not used. After five month its..now.. its not cleaning properly.. dirt are stayed and burnt while drying. But first month it cleaned well. Now only not cleaning properly. What is the reason for that? What i have to check?
Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. There are many reasons why the machine does not clean well. You say that you have not used it for 5 months. You have to check if there is any blockage in the spray arms and also check the drain filters and clean them if required. Can you please give me details about your water hardness, salt and rinse aid setting, the program you run regularly etc.? Also which detergent do you use? Based on that I shall give you suggestions. Thank you.
@@ravipoolla2303 I think you can't do that. In salt water bacteria or fungus won't grow. Think about pickle. Then you can use a sponge to remove some water inside it. Still there will be water in there. Maybe you can use sodium benzoate mixed with some water in the filter to prevent odur causing bacteria when not using for long time.sodium benzoate is a food preservative used in pickles and bread.
Hi mam, first of all thanks for this info. If power cut happens and came again while the machine is ON, will the program resume or ir restarts from beginning. Would appreciate your reply and thanks in advance 😊
Hi Mam,1) I want to buy 8place dishwasher in this sale , which is better voltas beko DT8S vs DT8B vs Bosch. 2) Which one are you using right now 3) why did you change your dishwasher from voltas to Bosch Please reply ASAP
Hi Manoj, 1. DT8S and DT8B are 8 place setting tabletop models of Voltas Beko which are the same except that one is silver and the other is black. 2. Bosch does not have 8 place setting dishwasher(not at least in India), but only 12/13/14/15 place regular free standing models. So, directly I cannot compare a tabletop and regular model. If you ask me to compare Bosch and Voltas Beko, then my choice would be Bosch(though it is expensive compared to other brands), as it has been in the market internationally, for more than 6 years, German engineering which makes it very durable and giving an edge over the other brands. 3. I am currently using both my 12-year-old Bosch and 3 year old Beko. I did not change from one brand to another. After 8 1/2 years during Covid my Bosch developed PCB failure and since the repair took long time due to Covid, I bought my second dishwasher the tabletop model. Both machines are working fine and I am happy with both of them. Mine was the first TH-cam channel in India to post dishwasher video. After that I have posted several videos on all aspects of dishwasher. You will find more than 60 videos on dishwasher alone in my channel. I am sharing the links below - th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYr5zV7rtAy0sU2iPze_7o97.html Voltas DT8S playlist th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYrXkjwrFQC7-MSnWRNpfsq2.html Bosch Dishwasher playlist th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYoWei5t-ZGBgsL7tBV1ymkX.html LG Dishwasher playlist You will need to decide first whether you have to go in for a table top or a full size dishwasher. Based on that and based on your budget, market offers, service in your city, etc., you can then decide on which brand to buy. Hope you find these useful. Thanks.
Hi Arthi, this being a table top model the height is perfect for old people to load the dishes. Also the programs being minimal(6) without any additional options like selecting extra dry, temperature or pre rinse to name a few; it's very simple to operate. Just load the dishes, add detergent, select the program and press start. Also it is ideal for a small family of 2-3. From my 4+ months usage, I find the performance satisfactory in most programs except the Mini cycle. Hope this answers your query.
Hi Rekha, there are 2-3 reasons for soapiness on dishes - 1. More quantity of detergent than required for the load 2. Wrong selection of program, , because of which there is not proper rinsing happening 3. Rinse aid setting is high Rectify these and your problem will be solved.
we brought a voltas 14 place dishwasher and we load it . It was not cleaned. We used a tablet and intensive mode for cleaning. The dishwasher didn't cleaned the dishes
Hi Gaurav, there could be various reasons for not getting good cleaning: 1. Correct placement of dishes, especially the heavily soiled ones should be kept at a place where the spray arms spray more water (where there are more nozzles for water). 2. More soiled dishes should be kept only in the lower rack. 3. Correct setting of salt and rinse aid setting based on your water hardness. 4. Selecting correct program cycle based on degree of soiling of dishes. 5. Using the right detergent that suits your water type. 6. Using the correct quantity based on the number of soiled dishes and degree of soiling. 7. Not overloading or over cluttering the racks. If any of these is not right, there is a possibility of getting unsatisfactory cleaning results, in spite of very high temperature program cycle. Each point mentioned above is inter dependent. Hope my answer helps you to get good cleaning in your future dishwashing. 👍

Hello mam, I had gone through your video. I had bought of dishwasher dfb424fm. I was unaware of tds level. My water tds level is 1300. Please suggest what should I do ? Waiting for your reply
@@sauravlohani689 your tds is very high for using a dishwasher. Can you tell me how you arrived at this value? Did you get your water tested to know the hardness? If not, you can get the water hardness tested in a lab. It could cost a few hundred rupees, you can do it in case you are planning to keep the dishwasher. In any case, companies are expected to check the water hardness before suggesting a dishwasher to any customer, as dishwashers do not work beyond a certain level of water hardness. If you manage to use a dishwasher with such hard water, you will not get effective cleaning even with maximum usage of consumables. Moreover, the scale formation will be high. So my suggestion to you would be - 1) if you want to use the dishwasher try to arrange soft water connection to dishwasher. You could also try to connect a water softener at the dishwasher inlet, but again that could be cumbersome. 2) if that is not possible then you can talk to LG and ask them to take the dishwasher back. A few buyers have reported returning due to very high water hardness. You may need to push hard with the company to take back the machine and give you a refund. Good luck.
My beko dishwasher goes from 9 minutes to 1 minute in the mini program Also in other programs it takes slightly less time than what it shows…Is this fine?
Yes it is quite normal. The time adjustment happens based on the degree of soiling in the dishes. Especially the Mini program completes 99% of the time within 25 minutes. It's better to avoid using Mini program for washing dishes You can use them for rinsing unused dishes.
@Divyansh Kushwaha since it will be under warranty, just let them come and see as you've already raised a complaint, unless you've cancelled it. Just find out what they have to say. Please share this with me as I want to know their thoughts on this.
Hi mam,one doubt,my machine is mechanical, not have touch pannel and display screen,in this, how to set the hardness level of water and rinse aid setting,if know pls tell me the answer
Thanks for sharing the model number. Just tell me if the technician added salt in the beginning when he came for installation? I'll let you know how to adjust the settings by morning.
Without hardness testing , technician told us to add 1l water with 1kg salt, and he told hardness are factory made settings no need to set and the same case for rinse aid also, we are in confusion what we have to do. For rinse aid settings it was happening with manual illustration, but not with water hardness.buying this model is correct or not pls give me reply.
So did you add salt and water as told by him? Where do you live? Do you get any scale formation or white patches when you wash your dishes? How is your water quality, hard or soft, i.e. is your water salty? If you are not able to tell this, get your water hardness tested in a lab. Or else with a TDS meter you can find out the TDS. To understand this topic, watch my video on water hardness by clicking the link below. I've explained about this for my Bosch dishwasher. I'll tell the way to adjust your salt and rinse aid setting by tomorrow. th-cam.com/video/-jHUQwX82l4/w-d-xo.html
Hi Alpa, what do you mean by salt chamber not working? Can you elaborate? In case it is in warranty and you feel the problem persists, give a complaint and call for service from the company.
Hi, Usually, dishwashers last long without any issues, if the water is soft(not very hard) and there are no power fluctuations on a regular basis. If your water quality is good and you haven't faced any problems till now, you don't need an AMC. But, if you feel it would give you peace of mind, then you can go ahead with AMC. Thanks.
We are using Bosch dishwasher. The problem I am facing is after wash cycle completes it is not cleaning the soap completely as in if we pour water in glasses foam is generated. Detergent is not getting rinsed completely. What can be the reason. I have tried putting less detergent? But that did not work.I am using fortune detergent from very first day.
Hi Rupali, looks like your water is very soft. Are you using rinse aid and salt? If so what is your settings of rinse aid and salt? Also please share your model number. After knowing these I'll try to give you a proper solution. Btw do you live in Mumbai or Pune?
Hi Rupali, I'm sure water in Pune is very soft. For soft water, you can set H01 and r01. More rinse aid will cause soapiness in your dishes. Also try using Vario Eco option which increases time but reduces water and power usage and gives a good cleaning. The rinsing time will also be more thus not leaving any trace of detergent. Don't go by the duration of the program. In short cycles the dishes will not be fully rinsed. Moreover you have kept salt and rinse aid at high levels which is not correct for your water. Also try using quantity of detergent based on the soiling of dishes. Please follow these and your problem who get solved. Thanks.
Hi Ganga, Voltas Beko tabletop will not be enough for you. You may have to go for 12, 13 or 14 place setting dishwashers based on the brand you decide.
Hai barthan me jyadha pakaane ke vajay se neeche white sa chipaka rehta hai.kuch dishes jyada pakana padtha hai. Aise hua whitevaala Bosch dishwasher me nikal jatha hai kya? Meri maid 1 machine se nahi a rahi hai. Aur vo bahoth acchi tarah se barthan dhothi thi. Mai ab Bosch lene ke liye soch rahi hu.
Hi Triveni, koi bhi dishwasher mein zyada tar bartan dho sakte hain. Bartan kitna saaf hoga woh toh aap ke pani par depend karta hai. Phir bhi aap sahi detergent ko sahi matra mein bartanon ki chiknahat ke isab se upyog karke sahi program use karoge toh aap ko behtareen cleaning mil jayegi. Ma'am which are reliable Dishwasher brands with good aftersales service. I have no budget limit. Which brand should i buy among Faber, IFB, Siemens, Bosch, Voltas Beko, LG ?
Hi. If the dishwasher is under warranty, please call for service and get it rectified. I think it should not cost you anything. If the heater is not working, you will not get cleaning. Thanks.
Mam i used ifb dishwasher last two months.water tds is 120to 150.dishwasher was clean well.sometimes vessels had white patches and dirty.mam please reply me
Try to select the correct program based on how soiled your vessels are. If your current detergent is not giving good cleaning, try to change the detergent. Since your TDS is low, I guess your water must be soft, so keep the salt and rinse aid settings to the minimum. Sorry for the delayed reply. Thanks.
Yes. Though it has a limitation as it is a small dishwasher as compared to the regular size, it does the cleaning quite well in most programs except the Mini cycle.
The Mini program is just like a rinsing program, it is not at all useful for washing and cleaning the dirty soiled utensils. Also the program never runs fully for 35 minutes.. It reduces by at least 12-15 minutes thus keeping the utensils as it is without much cleaning. So it is of no use. Ideally you can run the Normal or Eco program on a regular basis. Thanks.
He is very wrong. 35 minutes cycle i.e the Mini cycle is not a program at all. It reduces at least 10-12 minutes and effectively runs only for 20-25 minutes. It's like rinsing or pre washing. Not at all effective for cleaning the utensils.
iam planning to buy dishwasher, Can anybody give suggestions , Small mini like this type of dishwasher (or) big dishwasher like bosch, lg , Which is best
Hi Vimal, Choosing the right size of dishwasher depends on many factors like number of family members, type and size of utensils generally used, space availability, etc. Thanks.
Hi, if your tds is 130, i am sure your water must be very soft. Where do you live? I do not think there should be any problem in buying a dishwasher. In fact you will get excellent cleaning with soft water. It will be a challenge only if your water is very very hard.

Thanks madam. Please tell me wheter i should or should not go with the voltas beko brand dishwasher based on your overall personal experience till date on your dishwasher
Hi Rohit, I have been using Voltas Beko brand for the last 3 months. It has been working quite well without any issues till date. The piece was delivered properly through Amazon, the installation was done promptly, the fit and finish is good. I have not had a chance to experience their service. Remember mine is a tabletop model. But some viewers have bought the full size dishwasher too. From what they have shared on my channel, they seem to be happy. Beko is a reputed dishwasher brand in Europe. In India it has Tata collaboration. So based on all these factors and your own judgement, you can decide to go ahead or not. I have posted a playlist of videos on my Voltas Beko dishwasher. You can watch these videos here - th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYr5zV7rtAy0sU2iPze_7o97.html I am some of these videos will help you to decide. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your suggestion. But this video is mainly to explain how cleaning can go wrong by incorrect practices like over loading, wrong choice of program, insufficient detergent etc. Please watch the full video, I've explained everything. Once again thanks for your suggestion.
I have been using this dishwasher but I am never able to get clean cooker or kadahi or tea saucepan. Which program do u suggest and which detergent/tablet.
Sorry for the delayed reply. You have not mentioned which programs you use for these dishes and what detergent or tablet you use. Also, how is your water quality?

Hi Aditya, dishwasher mein aluminium wash karne ke liye usually manufacturers recommend nahi karte, kyunki aluminium ke bartan kale ho jate hain. Par 50 deg se kam wale program ho toh usme wash kar sakte hain. Maine apne Bosch mein Quick cycle mein bahut baar aluminium wash ki hai aur bartan karaab nahi huye. Beko dishwasher mein, maine zyaada try nahi ki hai. Par usme bhi low temperature mein kar sakte ho. Maine bahut pehle, BOSCH dishwasher mein aluminium washing ki video mere channel mein upload ki hai, idea ke liye aap uss video ko dekh sakte hain. th-cam.com/video/kxKvLCLmNuc/w-d-xo.html Thank you.
Hi Ayush, which is the cycle you use regularly? What is your water hardness? Which are the utensils in which you got black spots? Which detergent are you using? Can you give the above details and share some pics to my email bhuvanaadis@gmail.com, so that I can help you? Thanks.
Hi mam,you videos are really helpful,I bought lg dishwasher ..I set my hardness level to H3 ,I didn’t add salt as I m using finish tablet ...My doubt is do I need to add salt for hardness H3,which level I need to opt for rinse aid ..bcoz I m Getting white marks on my dishes ..
Hi Kalpana, I'm sure you've set your salt level based on your water hardness. H3 means that you've hard water, for which you've to use salt as well even if you use tablet as the salt in the tablet will not be sufficient. First of all add salt in the salt compartment, because setting of salt level has no meaning without salt in the chamber. Rinse aid can be kept at level 2, if you're going to use tablet always. Please watch my video on how to fill salt and rinse aid for the first time in LG dishwasher by clicking the link below: th-cam.com/video/pIFZpinuMbU/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps.
Thank you so much mam for the fast and timely response ,really your videos on dishwasher are very helpful. Now i got sufficient knowledge on dishwasher...Have a great day
Hi Arun, This generally happens with ordinary quality stainless steel in any dishwasher. But this will go away with just slight rubbing with Scotch brite or steel wool. This will not happen with good quality stainless steel like Salem stainless steel. Thanks
Hi Nice video .I purchased a beko tabletop but even if I select normal, intense or eco cycle my dishes are not cleaned well. Moreover there's a white film on the dishes that doesn't go when washed manually. Can you please tell how to solve these problems?
Hi Geeta, I hope you know your water hardness and you've set the salt and rinse aid setting based on that. Also have you filled salt and rinse aid in their respective compartments? I've explained these and other things about the table top model in my 11 videos which I've made as a playlist and am sharing it below. Please watch them if you have not watched them yet by clicking the link below: Voltas Beko DT8S Tabletop Dishwasher: th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYr5zV7rtAy0sU2iPze_7o97.html Good cleaning depends on so many factors - 1.Correct placement of dishes 2. Right selection of program based on the degree of soiling of dishes 3. Detergent that suits your water quality 4. Correct amount of detergent based on the load and soiling 5. Not over loading/over cluttering/over lapping of dishes 6. Correct salt and rinse aid settings 7. Clean filters 8. Unclogged spray arms Even if a couple of these are not okay, you will not get effective cleaning. Please watch my videos, you will get more clarity. In case of more doubts, write to me. Thanks.
Please watch this video by clicking the link below: th-cam.com/video/7kumgycixmA/w-d-xo.html I've explained how to clean the spray arms in this video. Thanks.
Which ever dishwasher your using you have to remove strain(tea stain and dry thing) using hand ..even top brand dishwasher you have to remove stain using scrub.you can't expect 100 percent cleanness in
@sivaloganather, Yes, you are right. Thanks for sharing your views. In dishwasher there is no manual scrubbing only hot water with detergent is sprayed. So in some utensils with very hard stains, we will not get 100% cleaning. Most utensils get cleaned fully if some simple tips are followed. Regarding tea and milk stains, if the utensil is soaked in water for some time before loading in dishwasher, that too gets cleaned. Only very hard stains of masala cooking and heavy tea/milk stains do not get cleaned fully. They get cleaned almost 90% or more. And it is very easy to clean the remaining 10% soft residue in such few utensils by light scrubbing. I feel this is better than having to clean 100% by hand scrubbing. Of course to accept this or not is an individual decision. Thanks.
Hi, there is no problem here. I've just shown how by over crowding/cluttering of dishes and by not choosing a right program based on degree of soiling, your dishes won't come out clean. This can happen in any size machine. Cleaning is dependent on many factors. I've explained two of the factors in this video. If you've watched till the end, I've explained the problem as well as the solution. Hope I've made myself clear. Yes I've my 9 year old Bosch which I'm still using. I bought one more for using and making videos for my channel for the benefit of my viewers.
Thanks...with so many DWs in the mkt, its becoming quite confusing which 1 to buy. So far I feel IFB and Bosch r the best .what do you say? Also, can u guide which 1 has memory feature? So that when the power goes it starts from where it stopped only & not start again
@Souravi, Actually manufacturers do not recommend washing aluminium in the Dishwashers as they will become black in the long run. But I've been washing them since many years, but in low temperature short duration cycles without any damage to the cookware. My water is fairly soft. For hard water the results may be different. You have to check once or twice to see if your aluminium cooker/cookware turns black after washing. If you're convinced there is no change in the aluminium, you can continue washing them in your dishwasher. I've shown washing aluminium in one of my videos in the Bosch dishwasher playlist of 20+ videos. th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYrXkjwrFQC7-MSnWRNpfsq2.html Please checkout the same. Thanks.
That depends on how soiled your dishes are and also on your water quality. For hard water you need to add more detergent as compared to soft water. More the soiled dishes in your load more the detergent required for good cleaning.
Namaste Mam, I have seen almost all your videos. It iwas good and very informative. Thanks. I have a question and I need your valuable answer. One of your video you have given good rating for crystale dishwasher tablet. Since finish tablets are very costly , I want to go for this. Is this worth for money? Please reply.
Hi Padma, thank you for watching my videos and appreciating.🙏 I've been repeatedly telling people that one detergent brand does not suit everyone. Much depends on the water hardness. Whatever I've shown in my detergent comparison video is based on my research in my dishwasher for my water quality which is fairly soft. If you have to find out whether Crystale gives you good cleaning results you've to buy a pack (they sell in small packs of 18 tablets) and try it out in various cycles. If you are happy with the results then you can stick to that brand. I'm telling this because some viewers have written to me that they have not got good cleaning using Crystale. So please try out yourself before finalising any brand. Hope my answer was helpful to you. Thank you.
Thanks for your suggestion Shamili. But my idea was to highlight the various reasons behind not getting good cleaning of dishes in a dishwasher in general. In the last more than 9½ years of my Bosch dishwasher usage or the 9 months of Voltas Beko usage, I've not had any problem with the cleaning results of my dishes. I've been getting almost 95 % cleaning results most of the times. Btw, I've already made a video on a substitute for detergent, which is something similar to what you've suggested. th-cam.com/video/2y7hsjGpc68/w-d-xo.html Thanks anyway.
Yes they will definitely clean at least 90-95% with proper load and correct placement of dishes with the right amount of detergent. I've tried and got good cleaning in both the cycles with similar dishes but with less clutter. I'll upload a Normal and an Eco mode wash cycle videos as well soon.
@@BhuvanaAdi l have bought Midea Dishwasher and it was delivered today ......this company has only one model ...this is 13 place setting dishwasher and it’s model number is Torino,WQP12-5201F
Even in the quick cycle never open the door immediately. Keep it closed for around 10 mins after cycle has ended. After 10 mins open the door slightly...& let the hot air pass out. Only once cool to touch utensils can be removed.....there will be hardly any moisture on the utensils left...i have seen 95% utensils completely dry even in quick 38mins cycle. You could try it out
Thanks Maya for your suggestion. What I've done is for showing how the inside and the dishes would be if opened immediately. You're right, let it be any program, if the door is left ajar at slight angle after 5-10 minutes after program ends and left like that for anywhere between 10-20-30 minutes as the case many be, both the inside of the dishwasher and the dishes will be totally dry. I keep repeating this to all my viewers queries (on wet dishes) in the comments section always.
That's what I've also written Maya. Open slightly 5-10 minutes after cycle ends. But this being a small machine, it's mostly dry when you open it, in all programs except the Quick/Mini 35 minutes cycle.
Hi Rahul, dishes will not clean if overloaded in any dishwasher. This is what I've tried to show and explain in this video. I've explained in the end, about what the mistakes are and how they can be corrected.
I would suggest that you get the sample tested for hardness at any food/water testing lab. Based on that you will know whether a dishwasher can work for your bore water. Thanks.
Hi Ankita, cleaning does not totally depend on the size of the dishwasher but also on many other factors. Yes, being a smaller machine it has its limitations. You can still get good cleaning by following these : 1. Do not overload or clutter utensils. 2. Try to place the most soiled dishes just above the area where spray arm has maximum spray nozzles so that more water is sprayed. 3. Select the correct program based on degree of soiling of utensils. 4. Use the required quantity of detergent based on the soiled dishes. 5. Set the salt and rinse aid levels correctly based on your water hardness (this is very important). 6. Identify which detergent gives you best cleaning results in most programs for your water and try to use that. 7. Avoid loading utensils that are too dried up. You have to try various permutations and combinations of the above to arrive at the correct combination of program, detergent, settings etc. to get the desired results. Don't give up, keep trying and soon you'll master it. Good luck.
Thank you @Chitra Ramanujan! Iodised salt has iodine and other anti caking agents which is not suited for dishwashers. We have to use salt which is specifically made for dishwasher use. You can buy any reputed brands like Finish, Fortune, Crystale, etc. which are available online.
Hello Anushka, we have the Beko 14 place free standing in home. And yes my mom washes all the aluminium vessels (4/5 utensils) on a daily basis. It cleans fine. No issues.
Hi Souren, it is better not to wash mixer jars in the dishwasher(though I used to wash my very old jars few years ago); because though the jar is made of steel, the coating on the bottom will get worn out over a period and the plastic parts if any, too will not withstand high temperatures. Even if you've to wash you can do so only in low temperature quick cycles like I used to do.
Nice video fir short cycle but you should have shown again with 1 hour or more cycle with the dishes that didn't clean..that they are now cleaned or not

Hello. Thank you so much for the review. I just wanted to know for the normal cycle does the dishwasher go silent/inactive for last 30mins? Please help me with this. Thanks a lot again.
Thank you Usually the end segment of any cycle is the drying segment, when the dishes are being dried, that is why it is silent and no other activity goes on.
Hi, I'm still using my Bosch since more than 8½ years now and am very happy with it and also using it daily. My viewers have been asking me about Voltas Beko for some time now. I was interested in the table top model and I bought it in the Amazon sale to use it in my kitchen and also make videos for the benefit of my viewers. You can safely go for Bosch if you're keen on buying it.
@@BhuvanaAdi Thank you very much mam. My water tds level is 860 and I called siemens showroom and Croma. They strongly advised to stay away as the hardness would increase in summer. Not sure if it is,worth to take the risk of spending 40k+ now, after their inputs. Is it worth to buy voltas tabletop, since product is around 21k? I am good if the product works for 3 years and I don't mind spending for detergent tablets on monthly basis. All I want is the vessels to come out clean and help my wife & MIL in dish washing. Please advise 🙏
Once again I would advise you to get your hardness tested in a lab that tests food and water. Because if your water is very hard, unless you install a softener it will be more of a hassle than reduction in work in spite of a dishwasher.
Namaste Mam, This is Padma again. I am using Bosch dishwasher since one year .. Everything went well since yesterday. Suddenly I noticed today morning that all my vessels after the long cycle yesterday night were looking white powder coating (சாம்பல் பூத்த மாதிரி} . I am using Finish product only. What went wrong and how to rectify this. Please help me with your valuable reply. Thank you.
Hi, white coating generally occurs due to salt/hard water. I hope you've set your salt levels based on your water hardness. Looks like you have very hard water. Check your salt and rinse aid setting. Also try to change your detergent. You can try either Bosch detergent or Fortune which gives better results for hard water. Hope your problem gets solved.
Thank you so much ma.Very grateful to you. Yes. Our water is very hard.I stay in apartment where we have one big water treatment plant . Through this we are getting treated water which is in acceptable level. Anyways I will change my detergent change to Bosch detergent. Thanks for your advice.
@@easyhomemaking7050 I am using ifb detergent, salt and rinse aid and it's good with it. 35 min cycle won't complete the process needed for used kitchen ware
Very true @Bobby Madaan, that's what I wanted to explain through this video. You can wash used dishes which are lightly soiled and if your water is soft those dishes come out quite clean. I use 29 min cycle very often in my Bosch with good results.
Once again I repeat here Devanshi, one detergent doesn't suit all. Quality of water decides which detergent is perfect for anyone. For me Finish has been the perfect choice right from the beginning and I'm using it for more than 8 years now. Occasionally I try out other brands to know how they are.
Mam today only I started using my dishwasher its nice but still I have to learn a lot in loading actually mini mode is also good for mild soiled dishes.
You will get used to it slowly. You can learn by trial and error and can perfect how you place the dishes for getting good cleaning. Yes Mini gives good cleaning for lightly soiled dishes. I use it many times.
Have you adjusted your salt and rinse aid setting based on your water hardness? Please do that if you haven't. Also try to use a detergent which gives best results for your water type. You can find this only by trying out one by one. Thirdly correct placement of dishes is very important. Place more soiled dishes at places where the spray arms have more spray nozzles and sprays more water, so that such dishes are cleaned well. Hope this helps you solve your problems.👍
@@BhuvanaAdi how to adjust it mam I asked demo person with the strip we can't do anything it will show same color for all types of water but we have just loaded fully rinse aid and salt.
Which model of Voltas Beko have you purchased and are you using? If it is table top, you can see my video where I've shown how to fill salt and rinse aid and also do the settings. If it is any other model, please mention it and I will let you know. You can get your water tested in a food/water testing lab near your place to find the water hardness. Based on water hardness you can then do the settings of salt and rinse aid.
Hello madam , someone has given review that there will be rise of Rs 1800 to 2000 in electric bill per month after using dish washer. What is your observation?
I wouldn't say it is a right figure. Electric bill depends on 1. Number of times you'd use the machine in a day. 2. The program cycle you would use regularly..(each has a different wash & rinse temperature and duration). 3. Additional options chosen along with the main program, like steam etc. Usually the power consumption ranges anywhere between 0.5 units to 1.6 units per cycle, depending on brand, model, the program cycle etc. I've explained this and many more queries in my FAQs 1 2 videos. Hi Jaya, thank you. You could increase your rinse aid setting. This will help in better drying. Don't check immediately after the program ends. Leave the door slightly open for at least 15 - 20 minutes before opening fully. You will find better drying. Anyway plastic items will have droplets and do not get fully dried in a dishwasher. @@jayasrinivasan1613 ok. Have you tried leaving the door open fully agree removing the utensils? Btw, where do you live? Hi Jaya, I can understand that it will be difficult to keep the door fully open in the kitchen. But unless you keep it open for at least a few hours, the moisture inside will not escape and the droplets will remain. From what you've written I feel that there is no defect in the machine. For three members it could be adequate. It also depends on the cooking and utensils usage. If you have more utensils you may need to run 3 cycles every 2 days. This is my additional machine. I have a Bosch 12 place setting dishwasher for 9 years. We are 5 members in our house. Thanks.
In this dishwasher there are 6 cycles. See my other videos on this machine in my channel. Voltas Beko DT8S Tabletop Dishwasher: th-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYr5zV7rtAy0sU2iPze_7o97.html
Thank you so much. This is very informative. I see that you have soaked the utensils before loading. I read online that there are few dishwashers which do not require us to do this. Just wanted to clarify, if this dishwasher can handle dried residues ?
Hi Anu, I do it as a habit, though it is not compulsory in most dishwashers today. Soaking gives better results in dishes which have stubborn residues stuck on them. Normal dishes with light to moderate soiling can be loaded as it is and a dishwasher will clean them.
The electricity consumption depends on the type of program used and the number of programs used per month. The manual gives details of power consumption for each program. I have shared this page on my final review of this machine. You can watch that video here - th-cam.com/video/l2jwEQ9VGlk/w-d-xo.html Generally one cycle per month should consume around 30 to 40 units per month which could cost ₹200 to 300 depending on power cost in your city. Thanks.
Hi Maria, no this is my second dishwasher which I bought two years ago when my then 8½ year old Bosch dishwasher had a repair(first ever issue faced) and it was taking time for the part to be procured. I am still using my Bosch dishwasher which is 10½ years old now. Whenever I have an additional load I use this Voltas Beko dishwasher. Thanks.
This level of water hardness is very high to run a dishwasher. I would recommend using a water softener or some other arrangement to supply soft water to be able to buy and use dishwasher. Else getting cleaning will be a huge challenge. Also the consumption of consumables will be very high. Thanks.
I can see rust mark on few utensils after cycle is over. What is the reason? I run my dishwasher at night. After the cycle is over , I switch of the machine and unload utensils next morning .
Hi Sakti, this could be happening, because you're leaving the dishes in the machine overnight after the cycle completes. Generally nothing should happen in such cases, but if you've used high temperature cycles, and the utensils are of thin gauge steel, this could happen. It would be best if you could time it in such a way (using the time delay option) that the cycle finishes around the time you wake up in the morning so that the machine door is kept open.
Hi Maam, I remember you had Bosch dishwasher . What happed to that. Why did you change it. Just curious since i want to buy and i am doing a lot of research as a first time user/buyer.

Hi Swarna, thanks for sharing your views. Not everyone is as lucky as you. There are lots of people who have more members in house, more cooking and more utensils, or they do not have time, they could have health issues, such people find dishwasher very useful. And we need to know that dishwasher cleans the utensils with very little water. What takes 30 or 40 litres of water (running water from tap) to clean by hand, the dishwasher takes 10 to 15 litres. Maximum water consumption in dishwasher is less than 20 litres. So it saves water. To use dishwasher or not is a matter of individual choice. Thanks once again.

You can use it for rinsing cookware which was not used for a long period.

Which dishwasher is perfect voltas beko 15 place or ifb 15 place dishwasher
Thanks.

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. There are many reasons why the machine does not clean well. You say that you have not used it for 5 months.
You have to check if there is any blockage in the spray arms and also check the drain filters and clean them if required.

Based on that I shall give you suggestions.

If you do not want to use them, you can set salt and rinse aid levels to zero.

Hi Mam,1) I want to buy 8place dishwasher in this sale , which is better voltas beko DT8S vs DT8B vs Bosch.
2) Which one are you using right now
3) why did you change your dishwasher from voltas to Bosch
Please reply ASAP
Hi Manoj,

You will need to decide first whether you have to go in for a table top or a full size dishwasher. Based on that and based on your budget, market offers, service in your city, etc., you can then decide on which brand to buy.
Hope you find these useful.

Jo thoda low budget pe hoga? Except rinse aid, tablet?
Home made cleaning material ke baare mein mujhe jyada jaankari nahi hai. Thanks.
Now having used this machine for few months, would u recommend this for old people??
Hi Arthi, this being a table top model the height is perfect for old people to load the dishes. Also the programs being minimal(6) without any additional options like selecting extra dry, temperature or pre rinse to name a few; it's very simple to operate. Just load the dishes, add detergent, select the program and press start.
Also it is ideal for a small family of 2-3.
From my 4+ months usage, I find the performance satisfactory in most programs except the Mini cycle.
Hope this answers your query.
Hi mam. Does mini cycle 29 min leave soap bubbles on vessels
Hi Rekha, there are 2-3 reasons for soapiness on dishes -
1. More quantity of detergent than required for the load
2. Wrong selection of program, , because of which there is not proper rinsing happening
3. Rinse aid setting is high
Rectify these and your problem will be solved.
we brought a voltas 14 place dishwasher and we load it . It was not cleaned. We used a tablet and intensive mode for cleaning. The dishwasher didn't cleaned the dishes
Hi Gaurav, there could be various reasons for not getting good cleaning:

Hi Saurav, noted your problem. I shall get back shortly.
@@BhuvanaAdi will wait for your response mam
So my suggestion to you would be -
1) if you want to use the dishwasher try to arrange soft water connection to dishwasher.
Good luck.
My beko dishwasher goes from 9 minutes to 1 minute in the mini program
Also in other programs it takes slightly less time than what it shows…Is this fine?
Yes it is quite normal. The time adjustment happens based on the degree of soiling in the dishes.
Especially the Mini program completes 99% of the time within 25 minutes.
It's better to avoid using Mini program for washing dishes
You can use them for rinsing unused dishes.
@@BhuvanaAdi thanks for the reply…🙏🏻 I raised a service request with Voltas thinking this is a defect

Hi, can you please share the model number of your dishwasher so that I can guide you.
Voltas beko df 14w

In case it is in warranty and you feel the problem persists, give a complaint and call for service from the company.
Hi mam, my voltas beko dishwasher is 2 yrs old.Shall i need to get AMC for it now?pls guide
Hi,
Usually, dishwashers last long without any issues, if the water is soft(not very hard) and there are no power fluctuations on a regular basis.
If your water quality is good and you haven't faced any problems till now, you don't need an AMC. But, if you feel it would give you peace of mind, then you can go ahead with AMC.
Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi Thank u mam...
Thanks for your quick response. The model number is SMS60L18IN/48.
H04 and r05. Location is Pune
Yes using fortune rinse aid and fortune salt
@@rupalikale1691 Ok. I'll get back later in the day.
Thanks.

Try to select the correct program based on how soiled your vessels are.
If your current detergent is not giving good cleaning, try to change the detergent.
Since your TDS is low, I guess your water must be soft, so keep the salt and rinse aid settings to the minimum.
Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks.
Namaskar, Do you still recommend this product after using it for some time ?
Yes. Though it has a limitation as it is a small dishwasher as compared to the regular size, it does the cleaning quite well in most programs except the Mini cycle.
Madam can we load in mini mode daily..for daily use utensils
The Mini program is just like a rinsing program, it is not at all useful for washing and cleaning the dirty soiled utensils. Also the program never runs fully for 35 minutes.. It reduces by at least 12-15 minutes thus keeping the utensils as it is without much cleaning.
So it is of no use.
Ideally you can run the Normal or Eco program on a regular basis.
Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi thank you Madam👍
Madam today technician done installation and said 35 min cycle is sufficient for our daily vessels..no need of other modes
He is very wrong. 35 minutes cycle i.e the Mini cycle is not a program at all. It reduces at least 10-12 minutes and effectively runs only for 20-25 minutes. It's like rinsing or pre washing. Not at all effective for cleaning the utensils.

Good cleaning depends on so many factors -
1.Correct placement of dishes
2. Right selection of program based on the degree of soiling of dishes
3. Detergent that suits your water quality
4. Correct amount of detergent based on the load and soiling
5. Not over loading/over cluttering/over lapping of dishes
6. Correct salt and rinse aid settings

Thanks.

Mam can i put aluminium utensils...I hv heard they turn black is that true?
@Souravi, Actually manufacturers do not recommend washing aluminium in the Dishwashers as they will become black in the long run. But I've been washing them since many years, but in low temperature short duration cycles without any damage to the cookware. My water is fairly soft.
For hard water the results may be different. You have to check once or twice to see if your aluminium cooker/cookware turns black after washing.
If you're convinced there is no change in the aluminium, you can continue washing them in your dishwasher.
I've shown washing aluminium in one of my videos in the Bosch dishwasher playlist of 20+ videos.

Mam, how much detergent to be used??
That depends on how soiled your dishes are and also on your water quality.
For hard water you need to add more detergent as compared to soft water.
More the soiled dishes in your load more the detergent required for good cleaning.
Namaste Mam,
I have seen almost all your videos. It iwas good and very informative. Thanks. I have a question and I need your valuable answer. One of your video you have given good rating for crystale dishwasher tablet. Since finish tablets are very costly , I want to go for this. Is this worth for money? Please reply.
Hi Padma, thank you for watching my videos and appreciating.🙏
I've been repeatedly telling people that one detergent brand does not suit everyone.
Thank you.
Thank you very much ma.Thanks for your quick reply. I got clarity and I will try.

Try 1 tb spoon matic detergent, 1tb spoon baking powder and 5drop vim liquid,, I feel it will give better results

Yes they will definitely clean at least 90-95% with proper load and correct placement of dishes with the right amount of detergent. I've tried and got good cleaning in both the cycles with similar dishes but with less clutter.

@@BhuvanaAdi my hardwater level was 1100
1100 is on the higher side. You many have to make arrangement to soften water for using a dishwasher.
I used the intensive cycle and still the tea, milk etc doesn't come out. I'm not happy with this dishwasher. It is better to go for full size like LG
Hi Ankita, cleaning does not totally depend on the size of the dishwasher but also on many other factors. Yes, being a smaller machine it has its limitations.
You can still get good cleaning by following these :
Good luck.
Hello Mrs. Bhuvana. Your videos helped me go for a Beko dishwasher. Can I use crystal iodized Tata salt?
Thank you @Chitra Ramanujan! Iodised salt has iodine and other anti caking agents which is not suited for dishwashers.
We have to use salt which is specifically made for dishwasher use. You can buy any reputed brands like Finish, Fortune, Crystale, etc. which are available online.
Have you tried washing aluminium vessels?
No not yet. I'll be trying out soon in subsequent wash cycles and shall upload the video.
Hello Anushka, we have the Beko 14 place free standing in home. And yes my mom washes all the aluminium vessels (4/5 utensils) on a daily basis. It cleans fine. No issues.
Hi! Can we clean mixer grinder jars in it?
Hi Souren, it is better not to wash mixer jars in the dishwasher(though I used to wash my very old jars few years ago); because though the jar is made of steel, the coating on the bottom will get worn out over a period and the plastic parts if any, too will not withstand high temperatures.
Even if you've to wash you can do so only in low temperature quick cycles like I used to do.

How many members in your household?
@@BhuvanaAdi I have answered in latest video of yours. Thank you very much once again.
Namaste Mam,
This is Padma again.
Hi Padma did the Bosch detergent help in solving the white residue on the dishes?
35 min short cycle is not for used kitchen ware , it's for utensils that are not in use for long and u need quick wash for them.
Its not like that i clean tea pan milk pan in 30mn cycle with fortune detergent.. finish is not effective.. even longer cycle finish doesn't work
@@easyhomemaking7050 I am using ifb detergent, salt and rinse aid and it's good with it.
@@BhuvanaAdi Bosch dishwasher is premium product no way close to this basic dishwasher
I felt that the dishes where I keep in front of the detergent is not cleaned properly I can feel the detergent is not cleaned properly
Mam nonstick bartan dho sakta?

Hello madam , someone has given review that there will be rise of Rs 1800 to 2000 in electric bill per month after using dish washer. What is your observation?
I wouldn't say it is a right figure.
Electric bill depends on
Please watch that.

They take more time to dry after the door is opened.

@@jayasrinivasan1613 ok. Have you tried leaving the door open fully agree removing the utensils? Btw, where do you live? In case you're living in a place of high humidity it may be probably taking time more time to dry up. More over it also depends on where you've placed your dishwasher. Please check all these points.
If you still find water droplets in the interior walls and plastic tub, you can call for service. Let the company people come and check.

After unloading the vessels..how much time, we can kept the door open ..is it partially to be open or fully open.
We r not at all opening the door after unloading.
Water droplets formation is ok..or it is a defective one..pl confirm..
Thanks madam..
Hi Jaya, I can understand that it will be difficult to keep the door fully open in the kitchen. But unless you keep it open for at least a few hours, the moisture inside will not escape and the droplets will remain.
From what you've written I feel that there is no defect in the machine.
I would suggest that you keep the machine door slightly open for a few hours after unloading the dishes. This should solve the problem.
Please let me know whether the machine is getting dried this way.
Same problem Bhuvana though I keep for longer cycles. I Have Bosch dishwasher , bore water too salty.

Hi mam ?
How many members in your family ?
I ve three .. will this be sufficient ?
For three members it could be adequate. It also depends on the cooking and utensils usage. If you have more utensils you may need to run 3 cycles every 2 days.
This is my additional machine. I have a Bosch 12 place setting dishwasher for 9 years. We are 5 members in our house. Thanks.
How many cycles options are there ?
In this dishwasher there are 6 cycles. See my other videos on this machine in my channel.

They didn't get cleaned because you selected a 35 minute cycle. Select a longer program.
Yes. Thanks for watching the video and sharing your thoughts.
I have explained the reasons at the end of the video if you have seen it.
What happened to your Siemens dishwasher?
Hi Shalini, it is not Siemens, I've Bosch. I'm still using my Bosch. In additioni bought this tabletop model for using.
@@BhuvanaAdi ok. I thought it is not working any more. What's the difference between two? Please make a video on this.

Mam, what about electricity bill. Pls reply
The electricity consumption depends on the type of program used and the number of programs used per month. The manual gives details of power consumption for each program. I have shared this page on my final review of this machine. You can watch that video here -
th-cam.com/video/l2jwEQ9VGlk/w-d-xo.html
Generally one cycle per month should consume around 30 to 40 units per month which could cost ₹200 to 300 depending on power cost in your city. Thanks.
Is this your first dishwasher?
Hi Maria, no this is my second dishwasher which I bought two years ago when my then 8½ year old Bosch dishwasher had a repair(first ever issue faced) and it was taking time for the part to be procured.
I am still using my Bosch dishwasher which is 10½ years old now. Whenever I have an additional load I use this Voltas Beko dishwasher.
