Fire HD 10 2019 is faster than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019. Better battery life. Better price. Built in Alexa Assistant. Can function as a digital picture frame and clock. Downloadable Google Play Store. No offense but you didn't your research, and your opinion was very biased.
Fire OS is 100% Android. You can install Google services, which include the playstore. All Fire OS is... is Amazon's custom version of Android like what Samsung did with One UI. Those maps you're comparing are different. One is Google Maps and the other is Amazon map. You can download Google map on the fire tablet too.
in the last 13 months I've purchased 3 each, (for my kids and grandkids.)and you are so wrong on many of your assumptions! and that's what they are, assumptions! They both have Android OS's, the ire has GPS built into the maps program. There is nothing wrong with either one of them, and for the price, the Fire HD 10 can't be beat. Buy whichever one you want or can afford, and you will be just fine, and happy.
Play store can be added in 5 minutes, aside from that, I don't see a reason to spend twice as much money. This isn't a review, it's a bashing of the Fire. I don't own either one yet but this "review" was less than helpful.
I have the 2017 fire HD 10 and only use it for movies and TV shows with a bluetooth speaker. Amazon shouldn't add a camera. Its pointless being that low of quality and I've never use it but love the experience for watching media. I got a Samsung tab s4 with the type keyboard case and it's clunky to handle vs the fire 10 with show dock. The volume rocker on tab s4 stays the same in any rotation so I keep pressing the wrong button to adjust volume where the fire 10 switches to what the user rotates to making it easy to adjust volume. The sale price is great for the fire hd 10 2019 model.
i have a galaxy tab a 2017 model and the ookla speed tests are on average 125 up and 40 down on xfinity giga speed internet how well do you think the fire hd will do? im thinking about getting the fire hd but am curious about the actual speed test

The fire is betaine 2019 version it's a lot better than the Samsung Tab a 10.1 in

Too bad about the position of the speakers on the Samsung A10...I would have bought it if it weren't for those bad positioned speakers...
