@@XLV750RD01 At the risk of being civil, I would mention to you that most of the reply's in this thread (I won't buy another truck OR prices are too high) have two real answers, which I have parlayed into simple and short responses. If in your estimation there are other answers I would enjoy hearing your educated responses to these points.
People spend extra to buy new because they're afraid to get stranded from failures. They pay extra for peace of mind. Now these people are spending all that extra money and getting worse reliability than used. And getting ZERO peace of mind in return for all of that extra money.
What in the hell is going on with these manufacturers and their poor quality control on cars and trucks these days? Even my beloved Mazda is crapping the bed lately!
Your channel is great. My 2022 truck is in the shop. I was able to use it for 28 days. It has been in the shop for 78 days now. I have no idea when the part will come in.
My 2023 silverado was in the shop , after 4 months of ownership for a steering rack , it took 3 months to get it fixed. GM gave no compensation even thought i was paying payments . The worse part was I said I will just buy a different truck off your lot , they offered me half of what I paided for the truck 4 months previous . There reason was because they had no faith in when GM was going to have the parts to fix the truck and they didn't want to get stuck with a truck that wasn't usable ! You mean like the boat anchor i currently have ,that you sold me !! Everything is built like junk nowadays!
I think the worry about tariffs is a non starter especially for Canada. Mexico might have some issues, but Canada can course correct and avoid tariffs.
Does GM still have their cold Weather "proving grounds" yet, in Northern Canada? Actually drove by it once, visiting from Wisconsin 25 Years ago. I am hearing, where some GM vehicles (Trax) won't run in sub zero freezing temps.......apparently that model was NOT tested.........???? Are ANY?? Anymore?
Won’t cost me , I’m not buying Any new vehicle period …..they all are too much money new . And most other than Honda and Toyota are not worth bringing home at any price
Gm has and always will be junk, proven time after time over any other automaker, not to say lots of others are not far behind, but engine failure in a modern American V8 is pathetic
I just want a cheap truck damn it.
same here
Let Em Rot..........
Agreed thats the only way they will respond
It won’t cost me any more money, because I’m not buying any of that overpriced crap 💩
Until you wreck your truck or car and need a new one.
Buy one not built outside of the US

The value of my 20+ year old low tech no DEF truck just went up, again. It's already worth more than I paid for it.
Sounds like a win for sure with these new truck prices
That's great 👍 👌, keep it
American exceptionalism:
Greed Greed Greed
Buyers just are looking for.affordable vehicles really. The sooner they figure that out, the better sales will come
Great to see a Canadian guy doing this great work
Thanks for watching

It’s because people let them off the hook

Wow, that's a long time. They should give you a new truck. Thanks for the support

American Truck... Made in Mexico. Makes sense.
Haha
Say something I'd like to tell you. That this video was excellent.
Wow, thanks!
I wouldn't buy a GM truck even new if it was $20,000. The thing out of warranty will sink you.
True they are not built like they used to be and now there is so much more to break
So don’t buy, they can change or make a smaller profit, don’t buy till they fix on lowering the price and fix reliability
The dealerships will go Bankrupt before these tariffs even take place. These vehicles are so over priced already, it's not even funny.
Very much
Good. Maybe I can drive at night without being blinded by GMC trucks!
These manufacturers seemenly not caring about their reputation is sad .

Government Motors, when has the government ever done anything right?
Weird then that GM gave Trumps campaign millions of dollars. Why do people and companys vote against their own interests in the U.S?
Very interesting events lately

POTUS: Blah blah blah blah, if you do not: blah blah blah. Rest of the world: Yessir, yessir!
Thanks
How by making their trucks and cars.

EV need to stand on their own , tax payers shouldn’t fiancé rich peoples Rivi van, Tesla s
I agree, they should speak for themselves, but incentives are there for a reason. People are not buying things

Unless price goes way down dependable goes up i will not buy any
Until you wreck your truck or car and need a new one.
I don't care if they all lose there shirts and have to wear their wife's shirts
You will too. Voters got what they wanted. Elections have consequences. Now we all pay more. Great.
I deed
As of now nissan may be the top dog on trucks
Their small truck is still a decent choice
Nothing is free
Exactly
I’m hanging on to my 1997 for a while longer.
I think that GM will build trucks here in the US for the US market.
