Very cool. The Tholian Web was one of my Favorite season 3 eps. I remember when Enterprise did the excellent 2 part episode In a mirror Darkly. I watched the Tholian Web just before it aired. It fits so well together. That episode and The DS9 Trials and Tribble-ations were two of the biggest Watershed moments that connected current Trek with TOS...haven't felt that way since except for Season three of Picard.
I always wanted one of these. D.S. had it on its site to sell at the original price. I called them and asked if it was available. They told me no, it wasn't. The next thing I know Evil-bay was selling it outrageously priced. Have you seen the D.S. Cutaway Enterprise? Very cool AND expensive as well.
Haha. I remember that cutaway one. It was designed by dragon models and released by Ds. I remember people poo pooing it. I think the original price was around $120. Just goes to show even stuff people think is badly executed can bring a pretty penny later on down the road.😂
Yes, eBay is really getting a lot for these! I actually got this one off of Amazon. I actually have the Cut Away Enterprise. I had to list it as a fail though because it came damaged.
Many of the Starship Legends ships by Diamond Select do light up and have sounds. Unfortunately, Diamond Select has since lost the license to Star Trek. However you can still find them for sale on eBay and Amazon.
Diamond Select no longer has the license to Star Trek products unfortunately. I think it has something to do with Playmate starting to rerelease Star Trek products, but not sure.
