I've the P-Line and Tyrell but ride this more than the rest. Component upgrades which made the most difference is the crankset and tubes - changed to 105 and Ridenow
What is the trail of the front wheel and compared to an typical endurance bike like Giant Defy, how is the steering and handling? What is the weight as shown? TIA.
The front trail of the GT Reach with Durano 451 tyres is about 80mm. Compared to the Defy at 58 to 63mm, would in theory offer a good stability at higher speeds for a smaller wheeled bike. What is advantageous compared to smaller sized road bike is that toe overlap is non existent for the Reach GT. Steering is fairly active with more correction than the Defy. If you're in Singapore, please do come down for a test ride. The bike's listed weight is 10.7kg. As there's only one frame size, there's no deviation of weight based on different frame sizes like conventional road bikes.
I always like reach GT design, even I ve had birdy, they both Made BY pacific cycles. My question is, where does come from this brand of reachGT ? I just already known birdy from Germany brand even they Made IN Taiwan ritenow. Pls let me know about original brand reachGT come from. Big Thanks
The REACH GT is a Pacific product. Design and manufactured by Pacific Cycles. As for Birdy, the design prototype was discovered by Pacific Cycles in a trade show and later took it to further development and production .
You can order one at our online store: shop.mightyvelo.com if you are living outside Singapore. If you live in Singapore, you can test ride the Reach GT at Mighty Velo, Level 2, BreadTalk IHQ Building, S534013 (we open Mon to Sat 10 am to 7 pm)

Fantastic bike, took the best solutions and made your own solution, no more poorly made copies.
The complexity and QC of the Birdy is vastly superiour than copycat models. You get what you pay for.

Aargh ... such a nice bike. But I'd miss the front derailleur and a second chainring.
It is possible to install a FD adapter on the bike.

not in the horizon as this is designed as a "can-pack-it-down-under-7 minutes' 20-inch mini velo!
What’s the biggest chainring that you can use in the front without touching the frame
We have tried 54T and 56T so far.
