Is paint removal always necessary? Just a question really because I see conflicting things on these videos, some people just heavily sand; apply primer then a recoat. Only saying because I tried with paint remover recently and I think had more success just sanding

if paint over old paint, the old paint may off then the new paint off
thats why using paint remover
