      Might be time for some new tires too.

      @@greenwolf401 the tires looked fine there were just caked in mud

      Looking good. The problem is your weight. That she’ll and tailgate with glass is 300 pounds. Also your tires are too wide. More narrow the tires gives more pressure per square inch=More traction in mud.

    Looks like it's setup pretty good, I'm guessing stock motor with front and rear diff lockers??

    with turbo ?

    • @jeepguy220
      @jeepguy220 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      can turbo a 6.2 but shortens it's life span, to much compression. I've heard 6.5 intake and turbo will bolt.

      Sounds naturally aspirated

      @@jeepguy220 if head studs are installed with turbo the engine can potentially last longer if the block isn't cracking. Turbo helps cool high EGTs present in naturally aspirated engines.

      @@jeepguy220 I don't know where you got that information from.I had a M1009 CUCV that had the Banks Turbo on.I had MLS Head Gaskets,ARP Head Studs,and a brand new Harmonic Balancer before I went with the Turbocharger.The Harmonic Balancers on those engines decay easily and can also cause vibration if you just throw a turbo onto one without seeing how old they are.Feeds and Chambers need to be checked carefully for oil leaks before you do so also so that there is not a runaway diesel engine.I had mine for over three years and it ran just fine,I some times got as high as 13 Psi of Boost on a hill which is hard enough on a 6.2L,but it still kept running.The same turbochargers were also available on Indirect Injected engines such as the 6.9L & 7.3L from Ford,and those engines were known for blowing out Pin Holes and yet still ran strong past 200,000 Miles,even with the Banks Kit.The 6.2L is a Indirect Injected engine also.The 6.2L & 6.5L V8 are extremely identical,you can interchange parts all day long between the two,the 6.2L is 130-155 HP and the 6.5L is 200-215 HP.They even have Marine 6.2L's and 6.5L's,which have as much as 200-300 HP.But these engines were not meant for very high power,they were only built for fuel efficiency.

      @@kaulincurtis9665 The Heads on early 6.2L's are what could crack with age.And when using a Turbocharger on one,including the Head Studs like you already said,you need after market Head Gaskets and a brand new Harmonic Balancer,to avoid vibration.The Harmonic Balancers on these engines were not forge crank and turn to shit very easily.
