When getting pallets loaded into a pickup, it's easier if you take the tailgate off at the load point, then replace the tailgate after your loaded. Eddie
Watching one of of today's youths start a carbed vehicle makes an old guy's heart proud. If she can (or will) learn to drive stick next you have done the gearhead god's work!
Sean knows girls how to do that is just incredible. Good for you flying Sparks. You’re just making those girls a lot smarter than 90% of the boys they know.
The bumper sticker on the c-10 Kix 106 is an iconic Memphis TN country music radio station, I'm sure Clay Millican grew up listening ,and probably still listens to the station .
This chanel honestly gives me so much hope for future of automotive industry and young kids enjoying the most important part about it all and thats getting to spend time and have fun with family!!❤❤ Awesome to see all the kids being so involved in the entire project and farm!! This is the best TH-cam channel out and it's always exciting to learn new ways to fix stuff from other peoples perspective.
I'm sitting here thinking "Someone grab the kid's hair!" as Emily reaches in. BTW, the alternator belt looked a bit loose. That and it was likely drawing a lot after cranking to get the battery back up to voltage.
Sean knows girls how to do that is just incredible. Good for you flying Sparks. You’re just making those girls a lot smarter than 90% of the boys they know. Oh and another thing if there’s gonna be nothing but girls in that truck, they’ll never need a radio because they’re constantly talking forget the stereo he’ll be too busy with one another ha ha ha ha ha ha
That suspension can easily handle two tons. I've put 2610 lbs of concrete mix on the tailgate alone (29 bags of 90 lbs) . However you should have had the forklift driver place the pallets in line not stacked that 8ft bed easily fits two pallets side by side. And I'm glad you guys finally raised that right exhaust, was driving me nuts how low it hanged. And great job with the yardwork good to see the youngings learning the power of hard work and the feeling of accomplishment.
Love the initiative but I have a suggestion for next time. Look for a local gravel pit that might have the same material cheaper. At least I know that I can buy gravel that way around my area.
3:28 Em, I was thinking the same thing! Stay clear of the fan, and stay clear of the belts. The last thing you want is to get caught in the fan or hit by a belt!
I would have removed the tailgate for the forklift to get the load further in the bed of the truck. Or for me I would have used a utility trailer if you had one of those laying around somewhere. Nice afternoon project picking up a couple bags of rock, then a BBQ lunch break before the real work begins so you can work it off. Good little project and yeah get those support pieces for the tree house squared away
The Ash Tray make a perfect iphone mount and it captures the entire cab, best pictures of my son and our boxer while cruzing the back roads of North Carolina and Southern Virginia .
Belt sweak on startup shows that the belt is a bit loose and the extra effort that the alternator causes due to charging after start up makes belt slip hence the sweat. It started well considering it had been stood for few weeks. Great channel keep it up, especially with so many good looking girls 😊😊
I'm only in at 4:30 minutes and see, and hear the belts are loose; but also not inline. Plus the pulleys look loose. Hope this isn't a repair the truck again, not that I wouldn't watch. The truck(s) look great! Then I saw the truck load of gravel. OMG! You use the second pallet to push the first further forward. So more weight can be put on the front suspension and away from all of it on the rear. Plus now its top heavy too at 13:20. Whew! Glad nothing happened, great job on the rock bed
Great job, ladies. y'all are an amazing team . You can kill wasp with dawn and water, put some in a pump spray bottle, and spray em down .its non toxic and works great, and it's cheaper than wasp spray or carb cleaner .
I have put 1500 lbs of gravel in my lowered 67 GMC. The trailer hitch dragged over all the speed bumps at Menards, but it made it home. Getting rocks wedged between the back of the bed and tailgate can make it really hard to get the tailgate back open.
Concerning the squeaking alternator belt, my guess is the belt is not tight enough and when you started it after it was sitting, the drag on the belt from the now charging alternator caused the belt to squeak!!
When a vehicle has sat for a while the battery will have a low charge. The chirping is because the alternator has a big load on it trying to charge the battery. If you rev it a bit it usually goes away as you demonstrated. 😊
The Kid's truck needs a fan shroud....local junkyard should be able to help. Also the automatic choke needs to be checked out for the cold start issue.
