1:37 i’m just starting to watch a video but that’s an awesome trip. I’ve been fishing that river for 30 years we do a lot of hand grabbing you might know it as noodling on the northern Tangipahoa, but we put in just south of Highway 190 it’s like the end of old Hammond Highway, we call it wild Wayne kennels and we fish it all the way to the interstate
Joe I’m sure can remember back I. 80”s floating it tossing snag-less Sally’s and your arm be sore by end of trip from catching so many bass on them floats. Great job and good one to be floating the river with!
We used to catch spotted bass on the Anacoco in Beauregard parish 50 years ago. I guessing that is the same as a Kentucky bass. Love all of your videos but this one is special.
Some people define "talent" as athletic achievements NOT ME "TALENT" is smoking/talking/while guiding a boat through the Tangiapahoa River while throwing a bait caster and catching fish on every bank! LOL!!! NOW THAT IS talent! Awesome video as usual man!
I need to know what bridge y'all put in under that wasn't fenced off with private land signs. I used to fish the Tangi outside of Amite but now every bridge from here to the end of the world has posted signs on the shoulder
Awesome fishing trip! Thanks MMM
Outstanding footage again, and on a bluebird day too !
I love this trip ❤thankyou✌️
I love that river especially when it's clear like that
Thank you for this video Todd! This is definitely another classic!!🐟

Awesome video as usual! Thank you
That looks like Colorado mountain river. How beautiful. Never seen water that clear in Louisiana! Great video as always!

Yes, Kentucky bass is just a colloquialism for spotted bass.
Great episode
What an amazing fishery
Great place
I guess there is a silver lining in everything including our drought in SW MS. Good video!

Lol Joe's got quite a conglomeration of skills

May not be able to answer this and it's ok if you can't, but where are yall putting in?
Can you fish the tangipahoa even when the water is high?
Where do y’all put in at if you don’t mind me asking
What a blast that trip looked to be! One question - do you switch to a shorter rod to help with casting while sitting? Thanks as always for sharing.
Joe does. He uses little pistol-grip rods, but I'm not that specialized.
Todd you can't fool us. you took a trip out to Colorado or something. Louisianas water don't look like that 😂
Yeah, the first time I did this with Joe 25 years ago or so, I thought the same thing: Nothing in Louisiana looks like this.
Wondering how long it took to get the shot @19:24
The bass hitting the buzz bait is the coolest footage I've ever captured on video
Why did y’all never stop and anchor to finish fishing a spot? Sure looks like fun though!
It would take six months to get down that river if you did that. There's always another "spot" coming up.
pistol grip rod!
